Firehouse sub is one of my favorite places to get a great sub sandwich. I started out getting the Hook & Ladder then started getting the Club on a Sub. Sometimes I get the Firehouse hero and I love the soups I've tried so far. The desserts are also great especially the brownies. I've always received great service at this location with the employees being attentive and extremely polite. Everyone is friendly when I visit and the location itself was clean. Everything seemed well organized and maintained which is always nice. I highly recommend this location and, after writing this review, I am now craving a sub! read more

My husband and I ordered our food at 8:38pm. At 8:47pm we received our food. At 8:58pm we were told we had to leave because the district manager did not allow people in the restaurant past 9:00pm. No one ever told us this when we ordered our food to "DINE IN" that we were going to be asked to leave two minutes before closing. We were in the middle of our dinner. The girl who waited on us was the same one who told us we had to leave and all about the district manager. We threw out our food (which had fingerprints of sauces and food on the outside of the containers when they were given to us) and left and will NEVER return again after this highly rude customer service and unclean food experience. We were sitting in our car filling out our firehouse sub survey and watched this same girl unlock the door and give a person their take out order 100% after 9:00pm when you are suppose to be closed and had kicked us out. We frequent firehouse subs all the time to support firefighters because we had a family member die in the World Trade Center Tower 2 on 9/11. We honor and care about the mission of Firehouse subs and first responders. The way we were treated was all because it was Friday night and they wanted out of there. If this is a policy of the district manager it should have been posted. It should have been communicated kindly if someone orders "dine in " within 30 mins of closing. It's not the way to treat loyal customers and certainly ones that care about your mission beyond food. I never write Yelp reviews either because I know how harmful they can be to a business . Nice location. Friendly staff. Although I created my own sandwich, something about it is just not as delicious as subways. That is just my personal opinion. Objectively speaking, the veggies are fresh, the bread wasn't stale and also fresh. The option to toast your sub is awesome and the kettle chips were yummy. Love coming to firehouse and the staff on Jonesboro rd are AMAZING! Firehouse subs are so good and I love all the extra veggies you can add. My favorites is the hook and ladder, hero and meatball subs. Also sometimes they give me an extra pickle which really makes my day! read more

Went in to get some dinner and they didn't even acknowledge me. I'm literally the only person standing there waiting. Two employees pulled up and the people working behind the counter looked up acknowledged them looked at me, didn't say anything and I stood there for at least 5 mins without anyone saying anything to me. I turned and simply walked out. Maybe there should be a manager on staff that's not a teenager. They all had to be under 20 years old and couldn't care less about helping anyone. read more

I'll start by saying that I love Firehouse Subs. The sandwiches are always tasty. Even the one I had at this location was good, but unfortunately they only get 2 stars for their service. Me & my friend waited 20 mins for our subs & we were the only customers in the building with 5 workers. Make it make sense!! However, when I went to pick up my online order they locked the doors at 8:56 p.m. I went to the door as 3 individuals decide to stare at me as to say go away and I would have if I didn't prepay. I have visited this location twice and have had an unsatisfactory experience both times. In both instances I was unable to reach a person on the phone in order to place an order. After trying for a long period of time eventually I placed an order through the website. I am allergic to cheese and so in both instances I requested none on the sandwich. When I arrived both times I picked up my sandwich and drove it home to discover that cheese had been melted onto the sandwiches both times. There is no way to call to arrange for a new sandwich since no one answers the phone. In both instances I threw the entire sandwich in the garbage. I finally got someone on the phone to complain on the first occasion and they were rude. It appears that the employees here do not care about customer service or doing their jobs right. I have always loved the sandwiches here and because of these experiences I will no longer be ordering from this store which is the closest to me and most likely will not order from the chain again. read more

My partner and I waited over thirty minutes for an online order that was supposed to be finished twenty minutes prior to our arrival. After telling us "be patient" and that "it's being made", a more competent worker arrived and told us that they gave our sandwich to a random person. I never write reviews but this is genuinely the worst firehouse subs I've ever been to. If you want a sub from this food chain, go farther to a different one. Food is always good the customer service is always a hit or miss, we came in during a rush and a lady named Tamara was on register she came off very rude and was having unnecessary conversations with coworkers while helping customers, she even thought it was ok to tell a customer the items she wanted was old and gross and she shouldn't get it. For some reason, this store is unable to deal get an online order right. It seems like a modifier to request no mayo should be pretty easy to handle. However, this store simply can't do it. Unfortunately, I didn't catch that at the store, because I was in a hurry and didn't want to open every sandwich and check (and you shouldn't have to do that anyhow). I will not return. Public Service Announcement: we used to love eating here. But now their service is painfully too slow. They are habitually under-staffed. Two visits within 4 months and both times it took over 30 minutes to get our meal. The food is good. As we were leaving two families got angry at the workers and demanded a refund. I have to say the service I have experienced at the Jonesboro rd location has been extremely slow! I even tried to call in an order once. I was placed on hold. I was on hold for so long I had time to get in my car and drive all the way to the firehouse sub shop (all the while, still on the phone) and walk up the register and when the girl behind the counter ask me "can I help you". If I can give this place a zero star I would. Very rude employees. Instead of taking our order they yelling for someone else to do it. After five mins someone comes out, all angry with an attitude. Mr.Austin giving us a discussed face. We payed he just tossed out our change on the counter with our cups. Does same with the recording eipt, we telling it's to go. Gets so upset, I said that I'm sorry we forgot to say but really he forgot to asked since he didn't even wanna take our order. Went there on a Friday around 1145am. Was not greeted upon entering the location. Stood at the counter for approx. 5-6 mins before I was asked what will I have. There was only 1 person ahead of me at the time, they were at the register. The ladies behind the counter were not enthused about having a customer. They shifted around aimlessly behind the counter, with no urgency in their movements. After paying for the meal, the cashier states "we only have water to go" ...
