My Firehouse Subs experience. I rarely leave negative reviews, especially for a business we have ordered from and enjoyed many times, but the way Firehouse Subs handled such a simple issue has been incredibly disappointing. Our delivery order was missing a mac and cheese. That's it. I wasn't asking for my entire meal to be refunded, I simply wanted a refund for the item I paid for and did not receive. I reported the missing item through chat immediately after receiving the order. I was directed to customer service and provided the photos and receipt they requested. I also called the restaurant, where I was told I could drive to the restaurant and pick up the missing item. Considering I had specifically paid to have my food delivered, that wasn't much of a solution. Customer service then told me they couldn't assist because I didn't have sufficient documentation, even though I had already provided the photos and receipt requested during the original complaint. After I pushed back, I received another response offering a "partial refund." I replied asking one very simple question: Did that mean a partial refund of my entire order or a full refund for the one missing item? Instead of answering, my case was "escalated," and I was told someone would contact me within the next few business days. That was August 30. It is now September 4, and I have received no further response. All of this over a missing mac and cheese. As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes happen. The missing food isn't what earned this review. The way the mistake was handled is. A simple "We're sorry, we'll refund the item you didn't receive" would have resolved this immediately. We have been loyal Firehouse customers, which makes this even more disappointing. Losing a regular customer over the cost of one missing side item and turning a very minor restaurant mistake into a week-long customer-service issue, just doesn't make sense. I hope Firehouse takes a serious look at how these situations are handled, because this should never have been this difficult. read more

I understand it's tough when it's close to closing time and you want to prep to close. This use to be a great place for subs, but I see when biting into the end of the 12 " there was nothing but bread the last two inches-nothing !!! So, that means at each end of the sub, that's two inches of sub w/ nothing. Two ends of sub-'s 4 " inches. Out of 12 inch sub there is Nothing !!! which really ads up to a 8 " inch sub that's what my photo is of...I had already eaten the other end, that's when I only tasted bread, so took the sub top off & checked the other end...nothing ! ie. decent subs- Italian meatball is good. This is one of the better sandwich chain options (better then subway..) have experience some bad service, asked for certain items on 2 different subs, request was ignored on both, management watched as employees goofed around but couldn't pay enough attention to wether they were doing their jobs right- which they weren't. I'm not sure who is now operating this location but I have been visiting this location for years and the last SEVERAL times I have been there the entire staff is extremely rude. I've tried to call in my order twice to be put on hold long enough to drive there and just walk in, then when I walk in there is literally no customers in the store so it's not like it's slammed. The food still tastes the same but the sandwiches are thrown together and sloppy. No one speaks when you walk in or when you leave. This place used to be extremely busy but it never is anymore and I'm guessing it's because of the service, not the food. You might want to retrain or replace some of the employees. read more

The guy working tonight was AMAZING. Talked to us and treated us with complete respect. I thought they closed at 10 but they actually closed at 9 and we walked in a few minutes to close. The girl behind the counter making subs rolled her eyes. When she was making our sandwiches, I told her I was sorry we came in so close to close. She yet again said nothing but her look said everything. The guy was happily still talking to my husband. Not how customer service works. read more

Delicious and amazing subs! Great place and fast. If you go here you've got to get a bottle of their Firehouse sauce. Just a hint of spice and LOTS of flavor. You can try it on your sandwich as they have some testers to try. I keep it in my fridge becuase it makes any sandwich better. Plan on spending $7-$10. That for me, gets me two meals. Half sub now, half for dinner. read more

Really great subs. Get any kind of sauce you want and the ad dons are a great deal such as bacon unlike other place that over charge and undersized the amount you get. Would gladly bring co workers here with me anytime. Also they have one of those flavor picker drink machines. Always try something new if you get a chance. read more

But i want to point out the professionalism and courtesy of the ladies and gentlemen that were on shift at noon on Feb 2, particularly the taller gentleman (sorry didnt catch his name) working. I could see that the manager was busy in the back, this young man took the initiative to run the front (sandwich making and register area) ensuring timeliness and customer satisfaction were above par.
