a wood table and red chairs

I love me some Firehouse Subs. Imagine my disappointment in the Kernersville location. There are nearly no clean tables to sit at. If it were busy, I could forgive that....but it was only me an 1 other gentleman. When I walked in ALL of the employees were standing around the only female employee (she was charging her phone and tinkering on her phone). During the course of my meal, the only female employee had to be prompted to take an order. No one ever cleaned the tables and the music was so loud I got to hear the female employee shout at 2 people she called. Fun times.

I then tried the bacon, egg and tomato on toast. The flavor was popping and sooo good. It came with a mild buffalo sauce on the side. The price was lower than I expected considering how good the sandwich was! When you walk in the restaurant it has a very cute set up. Very nicely decorated with a second level overlook. They serve food, coffee, beer, liquor and sodas. This is the perfect hangout to relax and enjoy a drink. They also have a few TVs in the building for entertainment. The art on the walls are very cool to look at! Definitely recommend this place any time of day! The staff and owner are amazing and super kind!!

Water to drink and it was about $14. The sandwich was good! The pasta salad was a bit too juicy for my taste. It's an interesting space with lots of art happening. They do have a bar and are open late. There are signs advertising 21+ after 8p with a 20% gratuity after 10p. It's a solid location on Liberty with street parking. I'd stop again!

For lunch, it's a solid burger and hotdogs. They also have crinkle fries which are not always easy to find. The staff are usually helpful and friendly. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The pancakes were almost a little bit corn or yellow, but really amazing. They didn't seem to be buttermilk pancakes, which was refreshing. The potatoes seemed just a little undercooked. Also, I had biscuit FOMO. I didn't get a biscuit but saw it on other people's plates and was so jealous. They're huge and look flaky and amazing. Ordering was easy at the counter, and our food came out really quickly. It had a nice small town locally owned diner feel. Also, they have a bunch of Mexican dishes available as well. I'll definitely pop in here again and get a non-breakfast dish. Super happy to have a nice little diner in our community!

I love yuca and I've never had yuca with rosemary & garlic oil but it was as delicious as I could imagine. They were oily of course because of the garlic oil but the flavor was great. I also had the beef empanadas and they were really good too. They're the perfect size & the breading tastes really fresh. I also loved the seasoning in the empanada. The dipping sauce paired perfectly with both the yuca and empanadas. My friend got a sandwich and I didn't try it but she really enjoyed it too. The service was good - food came out pretty quickly even though it was crowded! This is definitely a food truck I'll be on the lookout for again!

The Cubano was everything it should be. Made with golden bread pressed to perfection. Inside, the layers of roasted pork and ham were stacked. Made just right too. The melted Swiss cheese keeps it from falling apart. The pickles and mustard cut through the rich flavor by adding a slight tang. Every bite was comfort for the soul. I paired it with an NZ Pils from Joymongers and it was heaven. The beef empanadas were just as good. Inside, the seasoned beef was 100% flavorful. They weren't greasy and went well with the specialty sauce. Together, they made for a satisfying meal... it was enough to make me keep a lookout for their next Greensboro stop. Cheers!

I went at the end of the day on a Monday, sold out, but today, a Thursday i was able to get my hand on one and i was not disappointed. The thing is big, and enough to share for two. The sweet treat is nicely covered in icing and the texture of the dough is perfect, soft to eat with a plastic spoon, but has a nice chew like fresh baked bread.
