This is the third time I've ordered through the app and got screwed! I ordered the Firehouse Sub and there was NO turkey, NO ham and NO cheese How stupid can you be to work there and not CALL the person if it looks wrong. Any time you submit an online order this store will not notice it come it and they won't start on it till you ask for it. They almost always say "the system has been down". The latest issue with this store is ordering a delivery through the app. The app forwarded the order to Uber eats and the driver goes to the store and they send him away because they don't have an order in for Uber eats. He calls and I mentioned it was through the firehouse app. They then say something is up with the app and I have to send another order. While he is walking out somebody "found" the order. Then they wouldn't expedite the order even though the order is late because someone on their end dropped the ball. They spoke to the driver so ugly for absolutely no reason. took 20min to get our food due to the kids behind the counter laughing and goofing off. THERE WERE NO OTHER CUSTOMERS!!! they didn't even get our order correct on top of that. asked for no lettuce or tomato and guess what?? those very things were on my sandwich. those kids need to not work together or they need to be fired overall. very unprofessional. read more

Food is good but service is terrible. The 4 people working. I watched them completely forget a guys meal and he then asked for it to go since his wife was done eating. I watched them mess around behind the counter with no communication to me. I was the only person in the store and it took 25 min for one med steak sandwich then when I asked for a refund they said the meat had to been cooked longer because it was not done. I watched them keep their gloves on and do other things then go back to making sandwiches gross. When asked who the manager was they pointed out a young girl. She was very unprofessional. This Firehouse Subs has a nice size dining area unlike others I've visited. The staff was friendly and courteous. Ordered my favorite, hook and ladder. It was made to perfection and rather quickly. The soda station was just as clean as the rest of the place. Would certainly visit again while in Missouri. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out of lot and back on the main highway. read more

Went here for lunch this week and had an Engineer Sub - so much better than what I remember from Firehouse Subs in another state years ago. Great service, good food, and a terrific option for sodas - so retro and fun in 2012 (spoken by a non soda drinker). A must try. Loved watching the kids with the fireman hats. So great they donate to the public service agencies that apply to grants. read more

We chose to eat here for lunch, we're from out of town but we love firehouse subs. Unfortunately they were out of most things. The guy making sandwiches was nice. The woman named Tracy on the other hand, was rolling her eyes at me trying to decide what I wanted to order since they were out of so much. Her body language showed clear as day that she was annoyed that I was there. Slamming the dishes in the back, throwing the towels on the counter, & after she acted like she couldn't hear me talking to her to ask what they did have I just spoke to the young man & tried to focus & direct all of my attention on him. She then loudly & obnoxiously laughed every time I asked for something that they were out of. After about 5-7 minutes of this charade I decided to just leave. I was not welcomed at this business . The cleanliness of the restaurant was basic, not super clean but not super dirty either. The young man making sandwiches was amazing. Amazing customer service & I'm sure if I would've been able to eat here the sandwich would've been delicious. It's really disappointing that she treated a paying customer so poorly & disrespectful, but these days, people who actually care & respect their job is few & far between. Do better Tracy. Seriously. The world is sad & disappointing enough without people who are disrespectful to strangers for no reason. Idk if you need more training or what, but what you got goin now is not working. read more

Best sub ever! And the staff was friendly and helpful (it was our first time there). Only problem was I asked for certain items on my sandwich (lettuce only) and I had mayo added. It was okay but I don't like mayo as a general rule of thumb. That was a little disappointing. Otherwise the sandwich was delish! read more

Noisy, dirty, not a good deal at all. Very skimpy portions like most "Sub" shops. Good for a quick burp I guess, but really overpriced.

Have tried several of their sandwiches and they are all so yummy! I think the New York Steamer is my fave but that could change when I try something new. Staff is friendly and I have even seen them taking all the chairs outside at closing and scrubbing them down. Impressive considering they have only been open a few months and I'm sure other businesses which have been open for years don't get that kind of treatment. read more

Don't waste your time this chain is not worth getting out of your car. Subway or jimmy johns are miles better than this place. Bread is horrible, sandwich options are worse. Like I said don't waste your time and just go to a one of the chains that actually have a decent reputation. read more

We have visited FireHouse subs a couple times, each time leaving we aren't hungry but can't say you're ever really filled up. Their lack of inventory is disappointing but it's due to "their delivery truck running a week behind". My urge to go has definitely subsided when I can go to Subway and get the same thing for less. read more

I am kind of torn because the sandwiches are really good, but I've experienced problems every other time I've gone. For example, on my very first visit I asked for light/less BBQ sauce and no pickle spear on the BBQ Brisket sandwich. They send it out with extra BBQ sauce and a pickle. When I asked them to remake the sandwich the individual sneered at me (actually sneered!) and took forever to remake it. When I finally got it back they had made the sandwich without BBQ sauce and sauce on the side in a little cup that was impossible to get the sauce out of easily, rather than just making it light/less sauce like I had ordered in the first place. I don't go as often as I would if they fixed the issues with their staff and lowered the price some, but I've since learned to not attempt to make any adjustments to the sandwiches and hope for the best. tl;dr: The sandwiches are very good, but be prepared for a sub-par experience and expect to pay $10. read more

So very disappointed!!! I just returned home from picking up a large Steak & Cheese sub from our local Firehouse Subs here in Jefferson City, MO. Cost was $9.75 for this sammich! I had high hopes. I ordered it on wheat with sautéed onions, green peppers & mushrooms & no mayo or sauces. I figured a decent steak and cheese has plenty of flavor from that delicious grilled steak, cheese & veggies, right? Wrong! Lol 1st bite in I knew this sub wasn't going to taste like a good restaurant steak & cheese. While the meat was plentiful, it was bland as could be. No real seasoning or juicy grilled flavor. Just generic old plain roast beef slices. Tons of onions and green peppers, maybe too many. The green peppers were raw and not sautéed at all. The wheat bread was soggy even with no sauces and tasted very "blah" like Subway bread. Worst though was the fact that i could barely recognize ANY cheese on this sandwich!?! Seriously, I took each half apart and carefully inspected lol No cheese on either side of the bread, no cheese attached to any of the meat pieces, and maybe barely just a hint of something white and slightly stringy among an area of onions here and there. Even at that, still not sure whatever I saw qualified as cheese lol How in the world Firehouse Subs could name a sandwich Steak & Cheese and not have cheese one could see or taste is beyond me! I didn't feel like driving all the way back into town over 15 min away to try and complain/return the sandwich. In fact, I wouldn't want them to make me a replacement. I highly recommend JC Sub Shop over this Sub chain. It's local & they always use a nice big blend of melty gooey cheeses on their subs. As far as steak and cheese, Spectators has an amazing one. Bones downtown does as well. And no more expensive than $10 and you'll get some home fries with it as well. Sorry Firehouse, but for the money I thought your food was terrible. read more
