So I actually order Jimmy Johns for home delivery a couple times a week. And a lot of times they they send me my order by Uber, as was the case tonight. Well, it took the Uber driver a long time to get here, but she eventually showed up. No problem. The issue I have, is when I called to ask them about my order, the person I spoke to mansplained to me how they never use Uber and condescendingly went on to teach me how their delivery system works. Now, I'm an Uber eats driver and I pick up at Jimmy Johns all the time. So dude is full of it. Getting the sandwich late wasn't as big a deal so much as him instructing me I had to call Uber Customer Service when he was saying at the same time they don't use Uber. I also asked to speak with the manager twice and this dude hung up on me. I like the food but this dude was a jerk. Don't let him pick up the phone. read more

This location is generally never too busy and I think often forgot about since it's on the south end of town. The service is decent and 8/10 they get your order right. Would prefer them to slow down a bit and repeat a customers order, I believe would help them be consistent with not messing up orders. Food is yummy and fresh regardless, however. read more

This JJ's has 5-star service! Everyone there is so nice, on the phone and in person. They are so pleasant and friendly. Truly better service than I've had at some up-scale restaurants! Food is delicious too, of course. That sandwich bread is to die for. read more

I placed an order online for delivery at 7:24pm. At 8:45 I called the location to inquire about my order. The guy who answered the phone said "I only have one driver, she's here now. She'll be there shortly." At 9:45, when I still didn't have my order, I called back. No one answered. Since I live about 4 blocks from the store, I drove there. The man came to the window and said she "already left with it, she has a few order." I told him that I no longer wanted the order 3 hours later--he said he would cancel the order, but "she would deliver it anyway." At 11:01pm, I got a notification on my Ring doorbell that she had delivered the order. It was delivered by some random girl dressed in a pink t-shirt and pink bike shorts. She pushed the button and rolled her eyes at the camera and sat the order down. I'm not sure if their delivery drivers aren't required to wear any sort of JJ uniforms or if the man at the store had a friend bring a sandwich over 3 hours later. But my order was not cancelled and refunded. The man at the store was extremely rude and seemed to find it funny that we hadn't gotten our order 3 hours later. The owner of this location does not care how rude or careless his employees are. I contacted Jimmy Johns corporate and they said they get numerous complaints for this location, but since it's independently owned all they can do is encourage him to reach out to the customers (which he never does.) read more

Stay away from this store. Not only do they take your money, it takes over an hour to get your food, if you are lucky. You try to call and they either DONT PICK UP THE PHONE or they pick up and hang up on you. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! read more

This Jimmy John's was a severe disappointment. I've never experienced a slow JJ sammy, but alas - it has happened. Let me explain... I ordered my wife and I sandwiches with 40 minutes until we had prior engagements, thinking "wow, I'm so glad there's such a speedy option for quality food!" We were promised a 10 minute wait time maximum. This is where the story becomes filled with woe. I waited. And waited. And waited. And waited some more. I called the location after 25 minutes of waiting (15 minutes until our hopes and dreams are dashed upon the rocks of this cruel world), and was reassured that the driver was on its way. After another 10 minutes (5 minutes until our lives are crushed by disappointment), I had to make a horrible decision - we told the front desk at our hotel that Jimmy John's had failed us and that they were going to have to step in and help us out So, we finally got our food, but sadly it was 2 hours after we were promised to receive it. So far Corporate Lake JJ has been terrible. Out of the 7 times I've ordered they've only gotten things right once and that's because I picked it up at the store. Delivery time is always over an hour, today was almost 2 hours. They constantly forget an item. One time they didn't have a driver and didn't tell me until I called them an hour later. They fucked up the order, waited for a half hour for curbside pickup, which they fucked up too. They decided to lie to me and say they didn't get either of my "I'm here" checks and said they didn't see my car, seven though it was right in front of the door and the only car there!!!! Ended up sitting inside for ten minutes for them to get my order ready after the 30 minutes of waiting in front for the order! Usually sandwiches are okay, but there is like one worker in there who puts nothing in your sandwich. If you get that guy, your sandwich will be less than one inch tall. The sandwiches are already overpriced. This just makes it not worth it. Not going back. read more

So I gave this particular Jimmy John's a one star for two very good reasons. On Thursday of this last week, I had a friend over. I asked her what she wanted for lunch, and she responded Jimmy John's. So we go by Taco Bell and pick me up something then head back to my house to order Jimmy John's. We place the order,and wait. 15 minutes go by and she starts to worry. After 30 minutes of waiting we finally called the store, they apologized andsaid that it was on its way. 15 more minutes go by before food arrives. As any good friendship, I waited until her food arrived to eat my own. And guess what, both of our foods were cold. So after 35 minutes of waiting for one sub sandwich and two cookies we finally got our meal and were very unhappy customers. My initial thought was not to give them a bad score. But then my little sister came home from her band camp at Rockbridge. I said how was school, and she replied saying that she didn't get to eat lunch. She left her lunch on the counter. I told her she could've called us to come and give her her food, she said she had had money in order Jimmy John's. My little sister loves Jimmy John's, but right now she is very upset with this place. She ordered for food, and waiting. Her lunchtime was exactly one hour. The two words that come to mind for Jimmy Johns are: overpriced and overrated. I have always heard good things about Jimmy Johns and have been wanting to try them for a while now, I was disappointed. They don't toast their subs, the bread doesn't taste fresh there is nothing real great about the sandwiches they offer. It cost $9 for a turkey sandwich and soda.
