I go to firehouse a lot because it's so close to my office, but there is no way i can give it more than three stars. The food is ok. Fine. Alright. At best pretty good. The bread gets soggy and the sandwiches are kinda bland. I've waited unreasonably long to get my food on a few of occasions. I think it's a little expensive for the product. Overall, i wish a better sandwich place was near my office, but it feeds me when i forget to pack a lunch. read more

I first tried their subs when the Huntington store first opened, great subs. They'll even gut out your bread. Toasting the bread and steaming the meats make them irresistibl. Food never tastes bad but lots of other problems. The fact that they usually don't have something in stock is super aggravating. For example I just got food, and they didn't have the items to create my first two choices of sandwiches. They didn't have any lids for medium or small sized drinks. And over have of the soft drink options were unavailable too! I have had this problem at this location multiple times and it's such an aggravation. Not to mention it also usually takes 20-25 minutes to get my food. Update: it's been a few months since I've gone back.... I went today, with the exact same problems from before. Lack of supplies, with no one in line before me I still waited 20 minutes for one sandwich and ended up getting sick after eating it. I probably won't ever be back at this point. I hate to rate this a 2 because firehouse makes great sandwiches they are expensive but they are good. I've been to many firehouse subs and I was extremely shocked that this one was completely out of chips, no napkins, all the hot sauces were gone and most importantly they were out of turkey, steak, chicken. The franchise owner really needs to look at the management or this place won't last. On a side note I did get the Italian and it was very good. read more

The food here is usually solid but it is seriously the slowest service ever. It takes 3 lifetimes in order to get a sandwich, maybe only 2 if it's a cold cut. It's also really expensive. A 7 dollar sandwich is 12 dollars for a combo, so do that math for chips and a drink. Just go somewhere and sit down. read more

Steak and cheese sandwich: 4/5 (I've tasted better, but it's decent) Atmosphere/cleanliness: 5/5 Service: 5/5 (pretty fast considering it was a hot sub) Prices: 3.5/5 (I spent around $11-12 for a 12 inch) Overall, this place was pretty decent. Slowest service I've ever seen at a fire house sub. Don't recommend stopping here. We ordered and waited 25 minutes. When I asked the manager he said he was sorry but they had a bunch of call in orders ahead of us. I guess the customers who show up here rate second to any others who might call ahead. Slow service and they can't seem to get orders correct. A simple hook and ladder order with no mayo or mustard and they left off all veggies but brown lettuce. If you ask for oil and vinegar you should expect a soggy soaked mushy bread. Their 5 cheese Mac and cheese is nothing like the picture or description. The only good thing about this firehouse is that it is close to Marshall university campus. The service was extremely slow and they got my order incorrect twice before finally bringing it out right. I noticed that happened to two other customers while I was there. I do appreciate their commitment to emergency responders but they could definitely up the customer service. read more

How are you out of everything on the whole sandwich, got to the pop machine bc my boyfriend got something and they were out of every thing but diet.
