I worked for a country music band 30 years ago that played the grand opening for this gas station. Suplex Tacos is extremely clean with decor for Mexican Wrestlers thus the Suplex is a wrestling move. I had fish tacos that were phenomenal the tortillas had great depth of flavor, the refried beans very good. This is an excellent Mexican restaurant located in a Shell gas station. They have the best breakfast burritos I have ever eaten! Their menu is small but it has some great choices, the 619 Burrito is great and one of my go to items. The absolute best item on the menu is their fish tacos, they are fantastic!! Stopped for gas at a Shell station and while my husband was pumping gas, I noticed Suplextacos attached to the Shell station. I quickly looked up reviews on Yelp! and decided to try a few tacos. I'm usually not a "breakfast" food person so went right to a 3 taco combo and tried one carnitas, one carne asada taco and one fish taco. It was all EXCELLENT! I liked that there was a self serve salsa bar though the tacos were already dressed and perfect. This was a "eat and run" morning as we headed back to Indy so didn't dawdle. I WILL DEFINITELY be back when we return to the area to bring our daughter back to college after winter break! Highly recommend! read more

Ashland's best hidden gem! We love stopping in and enjoying their perfectly fitting playlists and endless refills on their amazing sweet tea (we think they may use honey to make it so good). When we want food in a pinch, their convenient drive thru makes things easy. We've never had a negative experience with Suplex, the service is always amazing. If you've never been, you have to give the 619 Burrito a try as it's what we'd consider their staple item. If that's not your vibe, don't worry, because everything on the menu is a winner. I've actually been wanting to come here since January, when we first drove over here to look for housing. Unfortunately, my comrades (heh) didn't really care for food as much as I did, so we ended up going somewhere super close by to our hotel, and I vowed to make it out here after we actually moved here. The day (well, yesterday evening) has finally come! We were all too tired to make actual food, so we decided to find someplace with a healthy/healthier option. I brought up this place again, and after they looked at the menu, they agreed with minimal/no coercion. :D We accidentally drove past it at first because I forgot that I'd read that it's connected to a gas station. (Look for the Shell!) They have a "Shape-Up" menu with entrees that are low in calories and high in protein (yeahhh protein!). Service was friendly and quick, and there's also a drive-thru if you're in a hurry, or just want to pick up something and go. The food is awesome and you really can't beat the prices! I wanted to try everything just because it was actually affordable, but I managed to show some restraint. I got the Knockout burrito (grilled chicken, salsa fresca + guacamole) and the Tag-Team Burrito (tofu, chicken, whole wheat tortilla, salsa fresca + guacamole). My friends ordered the Knockout burrito, the Contender Chimichanga, and a couple plain quesadillas. I also can't believe I didn't notice the fries section. (THEY HAVE POLLO ASADA! I like chicken more than beef, so this is a game-changer.) We will definitely be back! :D read more

So, I've passed this little place 100s of times over the last couple of years and have always wanted to stop. But, I never had the time. Finally stopped yesterday, and I was quite surprised. Walked in and was pleasantly greeted. The lady at the register helped me with menu suggestions since it was the first time. I got something along the lines of a "wet burrito". Forgot entire name of the item. But, it was awesome!!! I have a big appetite, and could not finish it off. Salsa and rice were also great. As I left I gave a big thank you to the guys in the back, who were very nice. All in all great experience. What a little hidden gem. I will be back, and maybe even beg for one in my town. read more

I order a 619 burrito every time I stop in. It's always made fresh and made perfectly no matter who makes it. Having had queso all over Florida, Texas, etc. Suplex's queso is perfectly blended and not watered down. The prices are reasonable. The restaurant is ALWAYS clean, even the kitchen which you have a clear view of. The employees are always super friendly as well.
