Italian. Okay tasting.
Jeanne W.

I have never been to a Firehouse Sub before. I ordered a Thanksgiving Turkey sandwich and an Italian. The 8 inch subs are enough for a couple of meals each. However, these were not particularly generous with the meat portion size and more bread to filling ratio but acceptable. The Thanksgiving Turkey sandwich was served warm with slices of turkey breast, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and mayo. It has more stuffing than meat but the ingredients went well together. The Italian had different kinds of cold cuts and provolone cheese served dressed with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. I had some black olives put in as well. The lettuce could be fresher; it was already tired and the restaurant just opened for the day. Both sandwiches were just tasting okay, definitely strictly middle of the road average. Probably not worth a return visit since there are so many sandwich shops in the area.

I love this spot! Great tasting sandwiches! Pricy but well worth it..! I dont mind paying more for quality food...!!

First time trying this place out. Love the firefighters memorabilia and themed decor throughout the restaurant. The items displayed are usually from retired local firefighters/houses. It's almost like visiting a mini museum. Also a portion of each purchase goes to buy lifesaving equipment for first responders. We ordered the popular Hooks and Ladder sub along with a $3 bucket (because why not, it goes to a good cause and it's a pretty cool bucket). The sandwich was great! Plenty of ingredients and surprisingly tasty for a sandwich. I love that they have so many hot sauce options and are labeled by number of spice level. The staff was friendly and the place was clean for the most part. There are TVs inside and plenty of private lot parking. Cons: unfortunately there are homeless/vagrants in the area. The staff seemed distracted because of an earlier incident with one of these individuals, so they got part of my order wrong -no biggie, I understand. I would suggest for staff/ visitor safety to just be aware of your surroundings at all times. Also perhaps the restaurant should install code locks for the restrooms and a small door at the ordering counter space area to separate staff and customers (for staff safety) and to deter someone from just walking in behind the counter. Aside from the above, look forward to visiting again as i am curious to try some of the other sandwiches including the Thanksgiving sandwich I saw on display.

It was our first time visiting this location. I love the firehouse/firefighter theme. The staff was friendly. We went in to get the free sub for my daughter's birthday. The entire process was more confusing and convoluted than it needed to be. For starters, the coupon was different from what the manager understood the birthday deal to be. Also, this company (on a corporate level) doesn't allow minors 15 and under to create their own rewards account. I had to create an account and add my daughter to my account with her birthday, etc... I found it unusual since many restaurants and establishments allow 15 year olds to create their own rewards account. Had it not been for the birthday/rewards account situation, I might have given the five stars. I'm a pescetarian so I don't eat meat. I do eat seafood, and fish. They do offer a tuna salad sub but I didn't see very many veggies or even vegan options. I would have ate a plant based meatball sub or something similar. Overall, the place was clean, the staff was friendly and I would recommend this location.

We've been to this Firehouse Subs (FS) a few times. Just finally getting to this review... better late than never LOL. They have a variety of different subs and a majority of them are hot subs except for one or two which I don't remember their names. Anyway, we ordered the large Turkey Bacon Ranch with whatever it came with. It was about $12+ which was reasonable for the size and amount of ingredients in the sandwich. Tons of turkey which was a plus. You can get a side of pickle. The bread could have been toasted a bit more. We didn't care for the American cheese. Provolone cheese would have been better. Despite the latter, overall the sandwich was delicious. Staff was okay... not too smiley though. Prices were decent. Interior was a little messy... tables weren't wiped down. Nice wall art and firehouse stuff. We'll definitely be back here for more great sandwiches. It's either Firehouse Subs or Jersey Mike's. We don't do Subway anymore unless we really have to LOL. Swing on by FS and get your Happy Subing on!

We love this place. Especially my son, every time we ask him what he wants to eat for lunch, he picks firehouse subs. This has become my favorite sandwich spot for a quick sub. They always keep it clean, and their customer service has always been great. Today, they let my son and I eat in the store even though it was past serving time, and they were going to close in 10 minutes. Usually the wife and daughter come with us, but it was boys' day out. Turkey bacon ranch is our favorite the kid loves his turkey, the General manager here is the best , jeff was super nice and let us take our time eating as my kid wanted to finish his kids sub lol thanks Jeff for the patience and customer service

Tender delicious grilled chicken sandwich. Their spicy bbq sauce is good with it. Wheat roll.

The Corned Beef is just passable. It's really chewy and not very high quality. I took a bite and wondered if I would finish it, but I did. I have not even found a supermarket deli in the high desert that carries corned beef, so at least it's available here. I wouldn't order this again though. It's disappointing because usually their quality standard is high.

First time going to firehouse subs and have to say I will never go back. Reviews on yelp were decent but what I should have done was gone to their website reviews a lot of bad reviews. Ordered a medium size sub and at least 3" on both end had no meat. Had I seen this before I got home I would have said something. I ordered a club sandwich that had only one small piece of bacon on it also ordered an Italian that didn't have all the Italian meats on it. Will be going back to Jersey Mike's man even subway would be better.

I've always had great experiences with Bad Ass Coffee... especially at the Rancho Cucamonga location, where the staff consistently goes above and beyond. Because of that, I had high expectations for this Hesperia location. Unfortunately, this visit was farrrrr short. I ordered two drinks; one with whipped cream and one specifically without. When the drinks were prepared, the one that was supposed to include whipped cream didn't have it. At no point did any staff member mention they were out of whipped cream. When I asked about it at the counter, I was met with a dismissive response: "Oh, we're out of whipped cream for the day." There was no apology or effort to make it right. What made the situation more frustrating was overhearing staff offer alternative options (like cold foam alternative) to customers right after us due to the same issue. That option was never extended to us, which felt inconsistent and unfair. Additionally, the overall atmosphere was uncomfortable. The staff's behavior came across as oddly secretive and unwelcoming, especially when my sister and niece arrived. It felt like there were unnecessary comments and attitudes directed toward us, which made the experience even more unpleasant. I believe this location would benefit from additional training in customer services. Particularly around communication, consistency, and treating all customers with equal respect. At a minimum, situations like running out of an ingredient should be clearly communicated, along with an apology and an alternative option offered to every customer. It's extremely disappointing to see this level of service associated with a brand that I've otherwise held in high regard.

Yes, I know... this is a long overdue review, but hey, it's better now than never, right? Anyway, since I've stopped eating beef several years back, I don't get the opportunity to enjoy a good burger, but that's okay. Everyone else can enjoy extra in my place LOL. So my go-to nowadays is a good solid chicken sandwich... HBG calls it like it is... they have a Grilled Chicken Sandwich (GCS) on their menu and that's what I normally order every time. I may one day try their Crispy Chicken Sandwich... anything chicken works for me as long as it's good. I'm not picky. The GCS has marinated chicken breast, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, and teriyaki sauce is my choice of sauce. Just a mouthwatering sandwich! The only gripe is that it's a small sandwich... maybe it's the ciabatta bread or just the chicken fillet is small. I may need to order two sandwiches next time I visit HBG LOL. I'm a big eater, but not to where I'm overly full... just in good moderation! I always love to take home leftovers so I don't mind ordering extra foods. Just my sandwich, sweet potato fries (can't forget my fries), and a cup of water is good enough a meal for me any day. Simplicity is key! If I recall, I didn't have any issues with the staff. I will say friendly and pleasant. Prices back then were cheaper than what they are today for sure. I do remember the dining inside was a little snugged, but they do have plenty of outside patio dining. However, with the extreme weather, I don't think it's a good idea to dine outside unless it's during the cooler hours. Don't worry about parking as it's located at the Walmart shopping center so there's plenty. Just drop on by and get your grill on! Happy Habit'ing!

The waitresses are easy going, friendly, and very on top of checking on diners & keeping our drinks full. On our very first visit, our waitress recommended the freshly made potato chips that come with house made bleu cheese and/or ranch and they are AMAZING!! It's the first thing we order and it's something we crave. Breakfast is served all day. At our latest visit, we had a feast. We started with the chips we'd been craving, had the Grilled BLT burger, Classic Eggs Benedict, and finished it all with coconut cream pie and apple pie à la mode. SO GOOD!! Considering the generous entree portions AND our scrumptious desserts, we took half of the chips and dressing home. (And they reheated beautifully in the air fryer!)
