Absolutely abhorrent and unprofessional staff... particularly the owners mother... who said "call the owner about your service I'm his mother". This is a franchisee store with very poor cleaning standards, very poor service and zero care about the customers they serve. When asked if they care about losing business they responded, we would love to lose some business that way we can drive the prices of our food up giving us even more money.... They seem to be struggling to find steady employment so they hire kids and teach them horrible standards as well. After telling them I was going to leave a review they stated. go ahead we have our family members drown out the bad reviews with 5 star ones.. DO NOT give these people your money, instead make the trip to Florence and give the franchisee there your money instead. They actually deserve it. read more

This was another visit to this very good sub chain in Hebron. First of all I'd like to say how much I LOVE the firehouse stuff around the restaurant and their support for the local fire department. A great cause to be sure. Their sandwiches continue to be among the best out there. On this occasion I got a their Meatball Sub topped with pepperoni and boy it was top of the line. The meatballs were absolutely delicious and the big ole pepperonis on top added a nice zing to the sandwich. But what took this sandwich into the stratosphere is the bread. They brushed some sort of garlic butter sauce onto an already high grade toasted bread making just an explosion of garlicky goodness. The sandwich came with the requisite bagged chips and I bought a pretty tasty chocolate chip cookie too. Also needs to mentioned that my wife eats gluten-free and speaks glowingly about how good their gluten-free bread is here. This was a fantastic lunch and Firehouse Subs is near the top of the list of best sandwich shops out there. read more

We ran down the road to Firehouse Subs to grab a late lunch to go. It was well after the lunch rush - so we were the only customers when we walked in close to 2:30 pm. I ordered the Steak and Cheese sub with a bottle of water - to go. I also perused their hot sauce collection and got a couple of sides of hot sauce to go to souse my sub with. A rather average Steak and Cheese as subs go. Filling but not memorable. Service was good. Staff was friendly. They accept Apple Pay - which I utilized to pay for my meal. read more

I love the food at this sub shop in Hebron, KY. Always fresh !! Staff is great, courteous and prompt. What more can you want ? It's right near the Kroger store and really convenient to grab a late supper after shopping. Always, always get the brisket and cheddar !! read more

My husband and I stopped in during a quick trip through town. It was my first time and I must say I was quite impressed. The food was delicious, the workers were as nice as can be and the entire restaurant to include the bathrooms was incredibly clean. Very impressed and will definitely stop in again! read more

Seen advertising and heard how good the sub's are.Finally drove to Hebron to try.Steak and cheese was OK bun was soggy, Hook and Ladder was skimpy and not that great ,got the 12 inch on both. Did get to try a couple hot sauces they have about 20 or so sitting out to use.There was a Firehouse brand that was good but when I went back for more it was gone .Penn Station better :-) read more

The first time I went there, about right when they opened, it was not bad. sub was as expected and chili was REALLY good. But then i went the second time ... and was very disappointed. Sub was ok ... nothing to brag about. The chili ... was HORRIBLE. It was as if it was either from the day before or just sitting there all day. I think if you are going to have a restaurant ... that is modeled after firehouse food.... the chili should be decent. Don't think i will go back anytime soon. read more

The sub I had was reasonably tasty, but for what I paid, it certainly should have been. My one regret, however, was not getting my food to go. The school kids working there were unprofessional, impolite, and very inappropriate- more concerned with engaging in adolescent pseudo-homo-erotic banter than anything resembling customer service. Won't likely return, but if I do, it will be when the children are back to school instead of running a restaurant unsupervised. read more

More expensive than Subway, but more flavor means it's worth it once in awhile. I love the Firehouse Hero, fully involved. Served hot with three kinds of meat, this is a sandwich that can induce cravings a week later. I don't care much for the atmosphere, but take out is quick if you call ahead. read more

Service awful. Came in on a slow Sunday evening, 2nd in line, and waited 30 minutes for 3 meatball subs. One employee had long hair that was not pulled back and kept pushing it out of her face - luckily my sandwiches were made by someone else. They are completely incompetent. I ordered 3 "6 inch subs" and got subs that looked like they weren't even 3 inches and you could maybe get 2 bites out of them. When I went back to get a refund they remade me larger subs but the chicken bacon ranch sub I ordered ended up being just sliced turkey that was dripping wet drenched in the wateriest ranch sauce I've ever seen read more

The turkey sub and meatball sub are my favorite, very good! Their service is okay, sometimes it takes a long time even when they aren't that busy. Most of the employees act like they would rather be somewhere else. They aren't that friendly. read more
