The good? Offers "less bread or no bread". Iced tea was good. Order was taken quickly and cordially. AMBIANCE: there was music but it was low enough to carry on a decent conversation. NO TELEVISION! yeh! The sandwiches were COLD, I asked for my veggie to have the ""less bread" option and extra caramelized onions. there was NO "less bread" and hardly any caramelized onions . Pickles were missing from the order. There were NO clean tables. Luckily, i had some lysol wipes with me so I cleaned my own table. i normally love this Firehouse Subshop - the sandwiches are warm and the order has always been perfect. Today the order was wrong and the sandwiches were cold- tasted like the bread had been in a fridge. The lack of caramelized onions was a major disappointment as i love them. I will seriously question returning to this Firehouse Subs. There WAS a sanitation grade of "A" on the door. Thank the Lord for THAT. read more

Fast friendly service. Order was correct. Well made and tasty. Went for two days in a row and service was the same both days.

I was driving through this area around lunch time and decided to stop here for a bite to eat. I ordered an Italian sub and a soft drink. The cashier asked me if I wanted a small, medium or large. I assumed he was talking about the soft drink size, so I said a small. I then received a half sub and a large drink cup. The sub was good, but was only a half of a sub. Going forward, I will be aware of this at this chain. The service was very quick, and the restaurant was very clean. read more

I just visited this specific location today and the customer service was horrible. I ordered a ham provolone and mayo sandwich which is probably the most simple thing you can get, when i got my sandwich the first time it had ham cheese tomato and bbq sauce on it so i went back in and let them know and they made me a second sandwich. The second one had ham cheese mayo and still tomato (which i literally cannot eat) i went back inside to let them know that i cannot have tomato so i would need another one and they proceeded to have an attitude, be extremely rude, and then laugh in my face. i'm sure it'll be really funny when someone has an allergic reaction because you can't do a simple task. terrible service and experience. Went back today & once again they were very attentive to my gluten allergy. I was asked several times if it was an allergy, & I was happy to hear them give instructions to change gloves & wipe everything down. Food was OK. Got three subs. They were out of tomato's. Waiting for 19 minutes for order. Wife's sub ordered with no lettuce. But it looked like it got put on and then taken off. Place seemed clean and staff was friendly. Nice Coca Cola freestyle machine. read more

Ate here twice on a road trip recently. Once on the way north and again on the way south. Both times, the staff was courteous and patient with a lengthy order that contained several modifications. The food was well prepared and as always comes in a handy hard shell so that you can travel with it if needed. The small sandwich is great for small kids and can be eaten in the car if you go light on the additions. Each of the sandwiches we got were well prepared and there were no errors despite all the modifications. All and all, one of the better fast food meals my family has had lately. read more

Ok, this is definitely NOT a New York sub sandwich, but those are usually the only 5-star ones for me. Still, it was better than a hoagie, and was not a grinder or other southern sandwich excuse and was better than subway by a long shot. So I will start by saying that I like Fire House Subs. I do not like this Fire House Subs. Employees were giggling and snickering amongst themselves the whole time, and did not really care about the customers. I got my sandwiches,and then asked if the soup and chili was in the bag. Nope, they forgot. Didn't offer cheese for the chili or crackers at all. I then had to ask for spoons. The employees were not there to provide service, they just wanted to get rid of the customers as fast as possible. Have you ever noticed that Chick-fil-A is always full of people. Ever wonder why? It's because their employees are always on point. Polite and get the order right 99% of the time. I wonder why all the other fast food places have a problem with this. Bottom line, even if your dying for a sub skip this firehouse and go to Chick-fil-A just down the street. You won't get a Sub, but you will get good food with exceptional service. read more

We love Firehouse Subs, just not this location. Went yesterday. There was a big order ahead and they were turning away guests. I asked for a meatball sub. Second time in 2 weeks I was told they don't have any. Another time was told they would have to cook it and when I said I would wait they got rude with me. The person (hesitant to call lady due to her attitude) at the register, was propped up on something with the meanest look on her face. Personality matched. If you can't serve people, then close up. I went to the one across town and had the absolute best service. Something needs to done with this location. read more

I ordered a salad and was given a knife. I asked for a fork and was told they did not have forks. I asked why I wasn't told that they didn't have forks when I ordered the salad, received no answer. One star. Very disappointed. We're from Connecticut and don't have Firehouse Subs up north. When we walk through the door, everyone was sitting with their attention focused solely on the TWO people behind the counter. The girl making subs was very nice and said "it's going to be at least a 25-30 minute wait before we can get to your subs, there's just two of us." While it's likely beyond their control, it's irresponsible to put two young kids behind the counter on a Saturday night when people go out to get food. Heading to Chick-fil-A, it always seems to be a pleasure to eat there. read more

Ordered the Firehouse chopped Salad with chicken. It was very fresh and I enjoyed the kalamata olives. There was supposed to be cheese in there but I couldn't taste it or see it. The dressing was fine. The employees greet you when you enter and they are polite. read more

Stop! Go somewhere else. Another firehouse, not this one. Cashier has attitude when informed order is meal orders and not single entrees. Drink machine is empty of flavoring for anything Powerade. This was the nastiest Restaurant I have been to in quite a while. We were traveling and needed a quick place to eat. Boy were we wrong. First the ice machine was broken so no ice for my ice tea, which ice is in the name. No one told us until we couldn't get ice out of the machine and my husband went and asked. The tables were all dirty where people had eaten. So I sat at a semi clean table to find out it was broken and wobbled horribly. When we got our food the bag and sandwich boxes were covered in grease and food particles. One of the workers came out of the back talking about running out of lettuce. Last but not least the trash receptacle at the door was flooding over with trash. The only thing good about this experience was the sandwich itself. I pray that we don't get sick. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is clear there is no management and the workers don't care. read more

We stopped here on our way back from a road trip and waited over 30 minutes and they were not at all busy. They were literally in slow motion to the point were we all thought it was a joke. They were all standing around when I went in so I should've known something was going to be wrong. I placed an order over the phone and when I went to pick up my order was completely wrong. I asked them could they make a new sub they did so with an attitude. They were talking under their breath and said something to another worker and they laughed. My morning was packed with appointments and after the last one, I realized it was lunch time. Was in the 1-20 area and I do not know why I never noticed this Firehouse Sub location before, but I pulled in and found a very clean restaurant. There are tables with umbrella's outside, but in the dead summer heat, not my idea of enjoyable. After reviewing the gigantic board menu, so happy the copy was decent size font, I opted for a salad. My salad was made fresh and off I went. Was really surprised at the size. More than enough. Everyone preparing the food and working the register were pleasant and engaged in conversation while I waited for my order. I will remember this place in the future and once the summer heat is over, hey today was 104, I will try a sub and update the review. If you are traveling I-95 or I-20 and want a health choice to all of the fried food optioned or fast food drive thru's, pull over stretch the legs and go inside and order a health meal. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the subs were here. I had never been to this chain before but decided to stop in at lunch with my husband one day. I ordered something with their smokey pulled pork (which I think might be seasonal) and my husband ordered one with their brisket. Both were very good. Their bread has a nice bite to it and they have those nice Coke machines that have just about every flavor under the sun. This is definitely one of the nicer sub shops in town. read more

(3/10/3016) We we're on a northbound roadtrip up I-95, needed a place for lunch. My husband is a fan of the subs here, I've never had one before. The feel-good mission is a pretty good schtick, and yes, I did end up donating when I got to the register. Who doesn't love a fireman, they exist to save your life (vs. cops) and they don't make a lot of money doing it (vs. doctors). Subs were very good, I like the steamed hot meat fillings (weirdly finely shredded, but easy to eat, as the dog can attest as well) and the bread was superior to most commercial sandwich places, well-toasted, crusty exterior, and good chewy interior). Since we were on the move, the pacing was very slow (but there are signs giving you fair warning that this is not "fast" food), but I expected that. Prices a touch high, but quality of ingredients are high and well, what's that charitable feeling worth to you? read more

I ordered two Large Italian subs with everything. Both were completely smothered in mayonnaise. No legitimate restaurant makes an Italian sandwich with mayonnaise instead of oil and vinegar. This was the most disgusting sandwich I had ever tasted. Warm gobs of mayonnaise. read more

This firehouse is amazing. I had a huge order and the customers made sure it was done correctly. My sandwiches were delicious. My family and I enjoyed them to the very last bite. The cashier although wearing a mask you could tell she was wearing a welcoming smile. The lady whom I guess is the manager was cheerful and the sandwich makers looked extremely focused on making my order. I am extremely pleased with my visit and wish I could give this store more than 5 stars. read more

Not feeling to good about this tonight. I go to place my order and there is a guy at the counter, I thought he was waiting on a order, turns out he is just hanging out. I pay, get my drinks and walk to the end of the counter to wait. This guy is smoking his Vap while he is leaning over the food prep. What ever nasty respiratory junk he has in his lungs is now attached to those heavy liquid molecules and being blown out over the prep area. I looked at the staff who just kept working and talking to him, they were kids so no big expectations but the manager came out and said nothing, so I guess it is permitted.
