There was no ice in the soda machine. We had to tell the guy who took our order. Instead of filling it with ice himself, he took a sandwich maker off his station to do it. There were only two people making sandwiches. Of course the cashier had no problem making a sandwich for himself which he sat and ate in front of nine customers who had ordered and still had no food including me. Three people came in. With no one at the register to take their order (because he was eating) they left. How does this place stay in business, I wonder? Subs used to be good but have declined in quality. Always preferred Firehouse Subs to other places. Service has declined precipitously although servers very polite. Could not order using the app on my phone because it did not work on two separate dates. It is very frustrating to spend all the time on the app and then find out that it was not placed the order. Made a phone call-made the order only to come home and find out it was the wrong sandwich. Had to go back get the correct sandwich and it didn't taste very good. Firehouse is probably my favorite sub shop of all the chains, so when I saw that there was one nearby I had to go for supper. Upon arrival there was only a couple of other customers in the whole place, but given the time of the night it wasnt too surprising. There were a couple of TVs that were absolutely blaring, which may not have been as jarring to the senses if they had been showing the same thing. Unfortunately that was not the case, one had a football game re-run and the other was some news program. I got the same thing that I pretty much always do. The firehouse hero sub, with a bowl of chili and a drink. I'm not sure if there was a misunderstanding, but I am pretty sure that I didnt wind up with a bowl of chili. My only other minor issue was the pickle that was included with my sandwich. It was a VERY small sliver, and I would have loved to have gotten a more normal size pickle. Called to place the order and the girl said "sorry our phones suck" and hung up. Usual, standard corporate restaurant, experience where the workers are beaten down attitude, the sandwich I ate was a New York steamer was a pastrami sandwich, it was more like a Cleveland steamer. Love me some hot sandwiches!!!! I love that they have a sub that they offer all my favorite meat and it's always delicious. They offer salads, different side, not just chips which is great. Trying their 5 cheese Mac n cheese as a side. I love sandwiches because you can never go wrong with one but what makes the difference for me is the bread and the amount of meat they put and it's always a good amount of meat. They don't pull the "oh lettuce.. let me stuff it with that!" They also offer several sauces to put on your sammie.. or your chips which ever lol. My favorite is the hero sub comes w 3 meats! They also give you the option to "gut" the bread or "less bread." Less carbs the better lol. I've also tasted the bbq n cheese.. really good. My wife loves the phillysteak one. This was absolutely atrocious. We went in and someone took our order, and since I've had an issue before at Firehouse with getting my order right, I specifically scrolled on the screen to check that she got everything. It said No Provolone and I told her again that I didn't want garlic mayo because it was listed. She took it off and told me that everything was right and I read that it was. When we got our drinks the Coke Freestyle had no ice and all of the sodas were flat. They tried to give us bottled coke but it was all diet so we passed on that. After a long while of waiting, we finally get our sandwiches and mine very obviously has provolone cheese and mayo. I told the guy what it had and they are currently remaking it but this is absolutely insane. They had four people behind the counter and not one was able to work quickly or well given the fact that the receipt clearly said no provolone or mayo with added cheddar. Additionally they have 6 smaller subs under 500 calories. Prices aren't as cheap as Subway but what you get is pretty good. The combos also come with chips and a drink. read more

First time here. Last time here. When we got there the place was empty and employees looked tired, bored, and stoned. Ordered a sandwich without certain condiments, and with others. The sandwich came WITH the ones I didn't want, and did not come with the ones I ordered!!! I also had ordered a hot sub, and the only thing that came hot was the bread. Since they only toasted the bread (and not the meat and cheese), the cheese was not melted. I mean, isn't that the point of ordering a HOT sandwich... the meat is hot and the cheese melted? *whispers* welcome, to firehouse... This Firehouse believes in using inside, library voices only. The sandwiches are good and I'm glad there's one in my hood now, but the staff needs some gusto. This location is a lot larger than it's Fountains counterpart and offers up all the same amenities like choose your own flavored soda and purchase empty pickle jars for a good cause. They do a great job of keeping the place clean, even the rack of barbecue and hot sauces. The employees are nice and always seem to be working hard. Once in a while they have a big rush (especially with it being summer now) and you'll see the soda machine completely out of ice or an empty iced tea dispenser or two, but they really do try to stay on top of it. The sandwiches are really good. I usually stick with the NY Steamer with some Firehouse sauce to dip it in because it's just so good. The last time I was here I noticed their menu didn't mention any cold subs, but they definitely have 'em. I know for sure, Firehouse has a tuna sub and a chicken salad sub. But their hot subs are where it's at. No delivery, no drive-thru... but they are pretty quick so you'll only wait 5-10 minutes. If you want a fast, hot sub with a pickle on the side, this is the place for you. read more

Had a refrigerator that broke down (that keeps tomatoes, mayo, onions, lettuce, dressings cold) break down in the winter of 2023 to this day in June 2024 it is still not fixed !!!! They completely expect the employees to run the show for them. This is unacceptable firehouse subs needs to be checked for multiple health city, violations, and regulations !!! Do NOT EAT OR WORK THERE !! Had People say they got sick from eating here as well. But nobody cares so food was still served as is. Most employees never trained just expected to come in and figure it out or get trained by shift leaders that were already running the business. I was trained by fellow employees that tried their best to help me at the time while also dealing with the constant work there. Seeing that both my husband & I are retired Firefighters/EMT's how could we pass this up! When you first go in they immediately greet you, which is always nice. They have an awesome mural of engine 27 - which is the FD that is just down the street. The place is clean and bright. Prices were great. My Husband got the Hook and Ladder and I got the Steamer. I have to say these subs are the best we have ever had. The bread was not hard but not soggy. The corned beef brisket was perfect not rubbery no fat on it. The food was so good we went back the next day and took our son. He got the steak and cheese. Ok I nibbled on it.... YUM Their subs are very filling! She was very nice altbough the other manager (from original day) didn't leave her a note even after I talked to him that we were returning and new samdwhiches were going to be given. My wife and I dined at this location on March 1st, 2023 around 5:30 pm and the place was filthy, food all over the floor and tables. The staff of five were just standing around on their phones and unconcerned with the cleanliness of their dining area. The food was okay, with nothing to recommend it to others. I have eaten in Firehouse Subs at the Fountains and in New Mexico; which were great. This location was a disappointment. Very disappointed with our sandwiches. Food quality has went downhill badly since we last ordered. Tuna subs did not have the deli mustard and the tuna didn't taste quite right. I love Firehouse Subs! We have Firehouse Subs in Florida as well and they are yummy and delicious no matter what state you come upon them! Everything on the menu is meat, but it can be modified to be vegan or vegetarian. They don't have any gluten-free options, or veggie patty or vegan "meats" which would be really nice, but their sandwiches are still really delicious and I highly recommend them! read more
