Stopped here on the way home from seeing my surgeon (I am in a sling) as we had the granddaughter all day and my wife did not feel like cooking, AND they had a promotion. It was early for dinner, 3:30 and the place was pretty empty. We ordered from the app and brought it home for later. When we sat down to eat we discovered that they gave us two of the SAME sandwich and the only part they got right was NO Onions on one. Decent meat portions, but almost no Mayo or mustard. VERY Disappointing. read more

Store has a sign on the door that says "Closed until we are paid." Apparently owner was late on paying employees so they all quit. Not sure if they will hire new employees or what. Bummer because my kids love this spot. read more

I'm not a typical sandwich person but I needed something that would taste good w/o having to warm it up. Plus we are going to be on the road and this is convenient. Proceeds of sales go to a firehouse which is cool. I ordered the turkey with Swiss cheese, lettuce, mustard and no Mayo. They put mayonnaise on my sandwich even tho I didn't want it. Staff even repeated my desire. Staff are masked, gloved and friendly. Parking lot. read more

Inconsiderate, rude service. After receiving our order, sitting down and unpacking food, was abruptly and rudely told, You can't eat that here, we close at 9." I repacked food in bag and asked for refund. Was told "No, because food had already been prepared." Left. Was not told about this prior to ordering. Apparently had plenty of time to take money including tip! Won't be back. Will spend my money on businesses that actually appreciate their customers. read more

It has been almost 2 months and their toaster is still not working. How can you call yourself a sub place without having toasted bread? The potato soup was good but was really wanting a toasted meatball sandwich. read more

It's ok. Just a sandwich place. The amount of meat on the sandwich was lacking for $8+ with chips and drink was over $12. It's clean & nice plenty of hot sauce spices to add to your sandwich. read more

I love Firehouse Subs over all because the sandwiches are always fresh and taste great! On this visit I got some great customer service. I usually do but this time was more noticeable. My wife and I always order a medium sandwich and split it. On this day the gentleman preparing the sandwich asked if we were splitting the sandwich and I told him yes. He offered to put the halves in separate boxes but I told him one box would be fine and thanks. And when we got our sandwich he even gave us an extra pickle spear. Some may not think that is a big deal but that is showing extra attention and I for one appreciate that. read more

Ordered on app 15 minutes before arrived. Proceeded to then wait an ADDITIONAL 25 minutes for my one sandwich order. For last 10 minutes no orders were finished. Horrible. read more

Always solid-staff is friendly-place is clean-and they have excellent sandwiches. A little high for a quick deli...but worth it.

The Firehouse Sub on cave Creek road. This will be my Last time at Firehouse. After 15+ years as a customer. Ordered a Med Steamer on white. Well 1st off, the Bread was hard, the skin of bread was very flaky. Opened sandwich and there my goodness was basically 2 slices of Meat it didn't even cover the bread, missing provolone, no dressing just Horseradish. 2nd time they made it, same story. Apparently they only allow 4oz of meat. Meaning 1 slice. You are paying 16$ for Bread. Ripoff read more

Ridiculous that they charge $10+ for a medium sandwich and the meat doesn't even cover the bread. We couldn't even tell what a couple of the sandwiches were there was so little on the "sandwich." Second time in a row this has happened. After 3+ years of being a regular customer, time to move on. read more

Subs are always delicious and the staff is always friendly. We've ordered from this location for years and they've always been great!

Can you hold? Yes, but not for fifteen minutes!!!!!! Then I walk in. Four workers and THREE customers! The dope that answered the phone says "maybe we were a little busy???" "You can have an attitude if you want!" ASSHOLE I went to another store, on Tatum. Got good service. read more

We like Firehouse and this location is ok, dining room seems a bit messy every time we come in but food is good. We ordered 2 large sandwiches delivered through Uber Eats a month ago and it came out to be $52.00-2 sandwiches only, no drinks, no chips, no joke. Each sandwich was $25...this is absolutely insane. It was double the price than if we ate in the restaurant. This is partly Uber Eats problem due to their high fees but also Firehouse jacked up their prices by $3-4 for EACH sandwich over their normal menu price. Crazy...and I think we were crazy to pay over $50 for two sandwiches delivered...won't be that crazy again though, that's for sure. read more

I know the food is what is most important but geez, would it kill you to put a smile on your faces and at least pretend you are happy I'm supporting your shop? What a bunch of lifeless deadbeats behind the counter and the unfriendly man running the cashier. The subs were good but the unfriendly encounter kind of ruined the experience. There are too many sub shops in the area to not at least attempt to be better than the others. read more

When I pay someone else to make food for me - it better be good. Fresh. Flavorful. Fast when appropriate. Appetizing. Filling. Score! I used to go to that place that that guy Jared plugged. After having a Firehouse Sub - I realize how sad both the Subway sandwich and Jared are. Since my first Firehouse Sub (I love the Italian - and I have them make it the "Fit and Light" way... as well as the Turkey Cranberry and the... Oh wait - everything I've had here I've loved! Clean, prompt, courteous, and fantastic flavors and textures. I love to add a little bit of the captain's sauce then have on the counter. Every time I go at lunch the place is crazy busy. We will call ahead/order online at times knowing this. We've even gone to lunch early to miss the crowds. I bet they wish they could double the dining area at lunch time! There's a reason for the foot traffic. You have to go out of your way a bit to go here. Try it. You'll like it. I dislike chains ... but this one is a keeper. read more

As with all Firehouse Subs, the food was great. Very happy that they have this location up here so that I can get it for supper, if I choose! Otherwise I'd have to go down into the concrete jungle to get a sub. I was a Subway fan until I ate at Firehouse Subs. This location is great! The staff was not only friendly but courteous. I would recommend this location to everyone. read more

The food's pretty good, but not a mask in sight. I guess they can't be inconvenienced. Or, maybe they just like running their business without inside dining. Sorry, I'm done with you until this pandemic is over. You can work to shorten it, or you can prolong it. read more

Usually I love firehouse, but when purchasing it today I nearly gagged when eating my sandwich. And my Mac n cheese was only halfway filled. My sandwich had a weird taste to it. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of options around here for a quick bite to eat. I walked in and was immediately greeted. I ordered the steak and cheese to go and was offered a cup of water while I waited. Service is very good. The restaurant is clean and there is an abundance of sauces and beverages available. I got home and opened my sub. The bread looks (and is!) delicious. But the filling is really limited. There were several bites that were just bread, a little onion and some of the mayo I added. (It looked like the person making the sandwich barely dipped a knife in the mayo and slid one side of the knife across one side of the sub and the other side of the knife across the other side of the sub - it was barely discernible.) When I read "oversized portions," I expecting to have the filling overflowing. It tasted good; it was just super skimpy. Not what I would expect. If you don't mind the drive, Jersey Mike's is so much better. And if you like beef, get the roast beef sub (#6). They roast their own beef and it is phenomenal!! They also make their own bread. read more
