The one thing you should know though is that the server that you place the order with is very nice and the food was good and the other guys with me did love their own sub sandwiches and the chips. On a Friday morning they are out of menu items. We arrived at 10:40 and were not approached by a server until 11 am we were really disappointed because we wanted to order pancakes. My blue burger was great. My son enjoyed his breakfast bowl. My sister's BLT was short on bacon. My other sister ordered a seasonal fruit bowl... the strawberries were very bitter. I ordered the new seasonal tea; it was great. I wish our server would have had better follow up on our beverages. There are too many other restaurants in Cave Creek to settle for mediocre service and food.

Hopefully they have umbrellas for the summer months. The gentleman that took our order was quite friendly and our sandwiches were out in under 10 minutes. They have a nice selection of meats, breads , and salads. We both chose the cranberry turkey sandwich and it was delicious. Mine was on fresh sourdough with a generous amount of turkey and fresh veggies. Two 6 inch sized sandwiches came to a little over $24. They do a surcharge if you use a credit card which I will avoid next time by using cash. I don't love this and wish businesses would just include it in the price of the food, however it is minimal. The service was very friendly and the quality of the food was worth the price.

Despite the shop's nightly close not being imminent, an employee was mopping the floor to the point where it was sopping wet. Before I even walked in, an employee at the cash register literally glared at me. This same employee both took my order and made my sub. Her disdain for my existence was translated in the preparation of my sub, which was sloppy and oozing avocado. Really disappointing. So sorry to the closing crew for bothering you!

There's one posted on the wall and there's paper ones you can take back to your table. There is no service. You go in and you order what you want to eat, pay for it and then you go to the bar pick up your food, and then service table to get your drinks, cutlery, sauces, napkins, etc. Make sure you get lots of napkins if you got the barbecue and sauce. You will be using lots of napkins. We got up three times to go get napkins lol! Everybody working there that I spoke to, really outgoing, friendly welcoming people. There's tables of every sizes and shapes as well as booths. The young woman who took our order did come to our table several times to make sure that everything was good. We had a little two year-old with us celebrating her birthday. She ate two of the brisket slices all by herself. All in all, this is a good place to go for lunch on Sunday. Especially if you like barbecued meats. The ribs were outstanding as well. Mostly meat. But you could have them with that on you them. They ask you when you're ordering how you'd like your ribs and brisket. We also had an order of french fries and they were pretty good. It's $18 for one meat and $24 for two meats. You also get two sides. It's a lot of food so we ended up sharing two plates. I forgot to get one of the paper menus. So I can't resubmit picture of them it. The prices have gone up, from the photos posted on this Yelp so be prepared for that. All in all it's pretty reasonable just don't expect any service. I still left them a good tip. I appreciate that someone came to check on us several times and they even comped me a free tea I guess because we spent a lot of money and it already left a nice tip. I really appreciated that. we ended up going back and ordering more food. If you're someone who enjoys good barbecue, this is a good place to go. I really have to complement the pork ribs. They were really well done lots of meat almost no fat and the sauces were pretty good. I apologize for not taking pictures of the food. it's challenging when dealing with a two-year-old lol!!
