    Large Firehouse Steak & Cheese

This is more of a review of FH in general and not necessarily this location. Their steak and cheese is mediocre at best. It tastes like the same meat as Subway but a little sweeter (which did not enhance it). I really wish they would leave a hinge on the bread, when I picked it up and as I held it, so much stuff fell out. It needed a third side to help keep everything in. It was just a mess. I'm not going to rush back to a FH Subs anytime soon.

No jalapeños and no bacon as I ordered.

I was just at this location and pretty much everything was wrong with this store. My online order was completely wrong. I paid additional for additional toppings which were not put on my sub. The restaurant was very dirty and nasty. The staff were rude, no 'welcome to firehouse' it was more like a blank stare while I looked for my online order on the counter. The drink station was nasty and the floor had a puddle near the drinks. I want my money back for receiving the incorrect order.

    Sixty ice tea pitcher.

This place is a disaster. The drink station had a dirty ice tea pitcher just sitting there and ice tea on the floor. Nobody cleaned it up the entire time we were there. The front door window was boarded up and it looked like the front picture window had a bullet hole in it. The food was ok and the service was indifferent.

This is the worst firehouse I've ever been too. They got both of the orders wrong. Completely. The roast beef is terrible. The cucumbers are a joke. It's soggy and disgusting. They forgot the pickles. It taste repulsive. The service took forever and the staff all looked miserable and were unfriendly. Don't go here.

Does this look like toasted to perfection to you? Looks burnt and gross to me!

A nice size, comfortable restaurant with a cool comfortable ambiance. We walked in and were immediately seated. Moments later our server came to the table and took a drink order. Pretty simple... coffee and two waters. When she returned with our drinks we gave her our lunch order. 1/2 Pastrami sandwich on rye with mushroom barley soup and two 1/2 sandwiches with chicken matzoh ball soup. Shortly after ordering, our soups came out. I reminded her that we only ordered 'cups' of soup (see picture). She explained "That's our cup." She later showed me their bowl. Large, really large... definitely a meal by itself. The Pastrami sandwiches then showed up with their respective sides... cole slaw, pickled cucumbers and fries. (I had the fires and they were perfect.) Many people know that doesn't happen all the time. The sandwiches were loaded with pastrami on a delicious rye. This was one good sandwich and I will definitely be back. Overall a great place with excellent food and service. Most of the reviews are four and five stars which I get... For the people who gave one to three, why? PLEASE, stop complaining because of an experience that you had that can be easily resolvable. WHY do one star reviews come from people who have no connections, no yelp friends and just one or two reviews.... Is that your job. Please stop diminishing the overall ratings for these great places. Our Table for two received one meal 15 minutes before the other. Waitress promise the second meal would arrive in only two minutes. Nope. Manager pretty much said the first meal should've been sent back, and told me I should've sent my meal back. When I tried to explain that the waitress never checked in on us that there was no one to send the meal back to, manager walked away. Upsetting that this former Boca legendary deli has fallen from five stars down to one. Glad to see they are busy, but they need to work on customer satisfaction in order to remain in open in Boca. I won't return anytime soon.

Forty of us met for a Friday lunch. There was free parking in the lot in front. The menu was massive, some ordered sandwiches, omelettes, salads, soups & seafood. My husband shared a huge pastrami sandwich on rye with fries. Alyson waited on a group efficiently in a private back corner of the tremendous & very busy deli. Everything was delicious, portions were massive, plates were platters, prices were a little high and everyone enjoyed. We were given our individual checks on the table and we got in a long line to pay. The cashier was also answering the phone, and she was very busy. We could've saved 3% if we paid in cash. The line wrapped around the delicious looking Bakery case.

Tried the next slice, dry and no flavor. It seemed like the turkey was microwaved. I had to return the meal, ordered a burger, and that was good. My wife ordered a brisket, very lean. It was dry as expected, but had no flavor. She orders the brisket at all the other Jewish deli's in the area and all have flavor, although very dry when ordered extra lean. The others all ordered cold sandwiches and were fine with their meals. The only comments were the rye bread looked packaged from a market, not your typical Jewish Rye, but they still enjoyed their sandwich. The remodel is really first class, definitely the nicest Jewish deli in the area.
