This was my first visit to Firehouse subs, it will also be my last. Thar was absolutely the worst sub I have ever had, so bad I couldn't finish it, gave half to my dog. He wasn't impressed either. To start there was so much mayo on it the bread was soggy and couldn't taste anything else. Don't know what the meat in it was but know for sure it wasn't pastrami, I grew up around deli's in the north I know what pastrami should taste like, the meat was rough must have come off a old milk cow. I've gotten better subs in supermarket deli's. I would give you a minus 5 stars but yelp won't let me. If I had stock in the company I would be selling fast!!! read more

EVERY CATEGORY ON SCALE FROM 0 through 10, 0 being worst & 10 being GREAT. They easily rated a 10. I STRONGLY encourage & endorse the "Cheddar & Smoked Brisket with their recommended condiments. I truthfully don't know where you could find a better or more delicious sandwich if you like smoked brisket/meat. We were BOTH highly impressed & already planning our next meal with Firehouse Subs. Service was outstanding & friendliness certainly seemed authentic & NOT your normal "canned or teleprompter greeting". Used to hold firehouse in high regards but these kids can't make sandwiches. They also have the personalities of broken glass. Forever annoyed. Sandwiches are always soft af and never ever hot enough. No idea what tf the problem other than literal incompetence. Not even worth speaking up about because you know what they do if you do? Just stare at you. "Uh..I don't know what you want me to do so..?" No thanks. Ever since I first had Firehouse Subs in 2001 in Myrtle Beach South Carolina, I have always loved them but it has really gone downhill. I never ever mind spending good money for good food but the money I pay for a sub at Firehouse compared to what I actually get always leaves too much to be desired. The food is really good, I got brisket and chicken dumpling soup.perfect portions and the bread is dynamite, fresh soft and wheat! yummy. The restaurant is very subdued and quiet, no comments from the staff! I think it's a little pricey for a 1/4 of a sub @8.59 but very tasty. Again, so disappointed. 1 star is too much. Store had dirty appearance. Employee who took my order took a deep sigh as he took the gloves off and walked toward the register. Sandwich was okay, but the side salad I paid extra for went to the garbage. All the lettuce was in the bottom & covered by other ingredients. The lettuce was too old & rotten pieces (at least 60%). Firehouse sub managers, regionals, etc up the chain, your stores will close with continuing to have the lights on in stores such as this one and I can name a few more in other locations. One star is too many. 2/3 employees were not wearing masks properly (pulled down). When asked to put their masks on, they got aggressive and yelled at me to get my service dog (trained and registered) out of the store. You are in FOOD SERVICE! Wish I could leave this place negative 5 stars I told the lady taking my order that I had a food allergy and that my sandwich couldn't come in contact with beef pork or dairy I got to the last bite of my sandwich and looked down and saw steak and bacon everywhere I went up to the front and told them and the manager could care less and was reluctant to give me a refund and the girl that took my order was hatful and got smart with me about it and after I left followed me into the parking lot to keep smarting off about it I had to be in a wedding that night and was extremely sick all that night and for the next 4 days I will never be back again so my advice if you do go there and have a food allergy pack some Benadryl and an epi pen! read more

For a chain sandwich place Firehouse is usually pretty good. Friendly employees, good sandwich, fair prices, in fact, the only way this location falls outside the norm is it's size, It's much larger than the average location. My Hook and Ladder was hot, made with fresh bread and pretty tasty, especially when paired with my favorite soft drink, orange Coke. My wife enjoyed her Italian with a cherry lime-aid for the drink. Overall I'd much rather eat here than McDonald's or Subway. read more

We went in, stood in front of the counter, the 2 female employees working there refused to acknowledge we were standing there. One actually yawned as she intentionally avoided looking at us. We should have left, but I asked if we could order, and we were finally waited on (reluctantly). They were out of coke, so I had to ask for that. Then they were out of lids, so I had to ask for that. It's too bad we won't be back, because the subs were actually pretty good. However, the kid's grilled cheese was terrible. Management should clean house here. There's no excuse for restaurant employees to be that unfriendly. read more

This used to be a nice Firehouse, not anymore. My mom and I visited tonight due to a busy first choice restaurant. We normally have no complaints and love their food. Not tonight...now we know why they were not busy. First we were not greeted by the staff. We also waited at the register to order while two guys talked and ignored us and one girl was working but seemed as if she was not interested in helping us. After we ordered we proceeded to get our drinks. One machine was out of everything, the lids and straws were messy and DIRTY! My mom considered a lemon for her tea until we saw the bowl...open long enough for the adjoining limes to be brown edged and slimy. YUCK x100! All the tables were dirty and we had to wipe off our own place. When our food did arrive, mine was ok however moms was gross. She ordered the brisket that she normally gets. This sandwich was extra soggy with little to no meat. She took one bite and it was horrible. My meatball wasn't all that great, but it was the first time I had ordered it. We did take her sandwich back to show the staff to which they replied that they didn't look at the meat and looks like she got all fat from their servings. No real apology. They did refund her sandwich amount, but that was it. They didn't care about their jobs or their customers. We loved this place when they opened but will probably not be back anytime soon. Wow. The chili is not 2nd alarm, it is just alarming. It was a lump of burnt looking meat and dry beans with no liquid to speak of. I've cooked in a crockpot where this happens it means it was sitting all day and maybe the heat was too high. So I called to speak to a manager whom was very rude and actually hung up on me when I asked if they looked at the food they were giving people and of they had food quality standards. So... Not going back there for burnt $4 cups of chili or the rudeness. read more

Firehouse Subs used to be the best in town. The management must hate their customers. They just lay the phone down on the counter when you call. The last two times we have went, from work, once I got a completely different sandwich, and this time I got cold turkey made like a brisket sandwich. I always order the brisket. It used to be the very best lunch in town. There was always a problem with ordering. Sometimes they would just lay the phone down and not pick it back up, others it would just be busy for a 1/2 hour. (that I now know is due to laying down the phone and not picking it up) I called and explained what had happened with my sandwich. The girl instead of even trying to help, gave the phone to the manager, who laid the phone down and wouldn't pick it up. The employees have learned this behavior from the manager lady who would not provide a name. There is no point in spending your money here. read more

Ordered online last night and a black girl closed the door right in my face at 858 pm and turned and walked away, another girl came over and tried to open it and the black girl yelled something at her and then the white giro mouthed "I'm sorry" ordered 20 dollars worth of food and didn't get it and very displeased, lost 3 customers for life and we will tell anyone that will listen how terrible your customer service is.
