Our firehouse subs experience was absolutely horrible, we walked in at 8:32pm which they close at 9pm and the first remark we received was an "ugghhh" from the manager on shift. RUDE. He then told us that they were "out" of all soups, meatballs, steak and only had one steamer running.... I wanted soup....We were shocked, but proceeded to order. Te nice girl at the register was quiet but polite and my younger sister asked HER if they made sweet tea because we are from the south, visiting family and most places don't have sweet tea up north so the manager took it upon himself to interrupt the conversation to plead his case on how there have been no customers for the past hour so he dumped it out in a very rude manner. And he told us more than once... so then we finish our order and my husband goes to pay and asked the nice girl if they give a firefighter discount at FIREHOUSE subs and so she asked the manager and he hesitates and says "yeahhhhh but it's only a free drink and chips so" and so my husband says okay that's fine, and he tells my sister to pick out chips and the manager says no it's only for one even though he (the fire fighter) is paying for everything. After all this happens I angrily ask why all the sign lights outside are off giving the illusion that they are closed 30 minutes before their website says they are close and he came up with a pretty good excuse but I don't know if I buy it. This guy should not be a manager and I hope the owner sees this because he used many words of profanity describing his story about why the lights are out because "the owner won't let him fix the lights himself because he was in construction and electrical before this shit and his owner is too cheap." Not happy customers whatsoever. read more
