Like actively wrong condiments, puzzling after I said no to them. So I ordered another simple turkey and cheese, with no mayonnaise. I hate to write this review as I love firehouse subs. Unfortunately today i stopped by at 12 (middle of lunch time) to be told that they're only doing online orders. No walk-ins? I have no idea how a business can operate on only online orders. I live in the area and have came many times to this establishment and ordered in person with no issues. I came here for the first time with a coworker just a week or so ago, and I completely forgot how much I liked it until I started thinking of what I want to pick up for dinner! Food: Really good, and reasonable prices for the portions. A small was enough for me, at least as a lunch. I'm really tempted to get a meatball sub next time, since every one of those I saw looked amazing. Service: a little slow? It's hard to say, we were there for lunch. First time at a Firehouse Sub. Stopped in for a quick lunch before getting a hair cut next door at Sportsclips. Had the Italian, and was very pleased. It was toasted, had the perfect compliment of meat and fixings, nothing over the top. Will be heading back to try out some other menu selections. The staff could use have been a little more upbeat. I don't expect fireworks when I go to a fast food restaurant, but a polite smile never hurts. :) read more

Every time we get subs from this place, we have had issues with the order. They are either made wrong, made poorly, or they forget to include things like the side pickle. When I went in today to complain about my order, all the person did was take my number and I am not even sure I will be called back. I had an absolutely horrible experience today. I ordered a sub for delivery. I ordered no tomato extra onion. As you can see from the pictures that is not what I got. You can even see on the ticket that they wrote no tomato but ignored the instructions. So I called and spoke to someone who said there was nothing they could do and less I wanted to pay GrubHub again to order another sandwich and they would send another one free with it. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager came on and said sorry nothing we can do and hung up. I called back and I could hear them pick up the phone and set it down off the hook. I heard the manager say that I should " Bring my fucking ass down there" and that he was going to hang up" on me and that hanging up on me the first time was " The best thing he'd ever done." I really appreciated seeing the positive motivation the manager was giving the two young and likely new employees. It appeared they were trying to balance the online orders with the walk in orders and were perhaps a little overwhelmed, but they maintained a great level of customer service all the while. Great food here but terrible service. Not sure it's the workers' fault, versus ownership simply not having adequate staff to support satisfactory service levels. They fail miserably on the pick up service they offer. 0 for 2 on having my order even close to on time. Had to wait for 15-20 minutes over the time the app told me it would be ready. Here's the deal, they don't work on your food if they have any new customers come in after your order is placed. They try to satisfy the customer that arrived, but fail to realize they are completely destroying anyone's trust in the quick pickup. I'm done trying with these guys. Had a horrible experience here. Ordered subs for an office meeting 24 hours in advance, only to receive a very rude phone call 30 minutes before I was supposed to pick up, informing me that they would not be filling the order. When I tried expressing my disappointment to the manager and asked if there was anyway we could remedy the situation, she was extremely rude to me, spoke over me and then hung up on me! As I walked in to purchase my lunch there was an employee out front smoking. I was inside for several minutes with nobody approaching me to take my order. The employee outside finally came in to start making my sandwich. She barely washed her hands and her mask was hanging down below her nose. So the girls started to make my Sandwiches and I'm assuming the manager, asked her employee if she ask me If I wanted mushrooms on my sandwich. I thought hmm, I don't remember that but didn't say anything. And proceeds to lie to her manager in front of me saying she did. So I told the manager that no I don't want mushrooms. Previously visting this establishment my boyfriend was waiting in line, no one was sitting down in the dining room, had 3 people working. Once it was his turn to be helped he had to wait 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge him. Once someone spoke with him they informed him it would be best to order ONLINE(keep in mind he is already in the establishment and had been in line for 10 minutes at this point with others in front of him and they all had been helped/served.) because they were too busy and he could come back and pick up his order in 30 minutes. He thought it was odd and ended up leaving. He came home really upset and thought it had something to do with the color of his skin, I mean what else could it really be? Fast forward a few years I wanted to give this place another go because it really is awesome food. I ordered a Medium Turkey bacon Ranch sandwich and a bowl of chicken & Dumpling soup. They talked me into adding cheddar cheese for an additional 60 cents. I get home open up my soup which looks like a cup not a bowl, there's no cheddar cheese, it's super thin and runny, and I counted not one but two itty bitty dumplings and no chunks of chicken. Sandwich was wonderful as always. Also be aware they do NOT require their employees to wear face masks upon cooking and preparing your food. When I asked about it because the person who was preparing mine was NOT wearing a mask, and was floppin his gums while chewing gum with his mouth open. With covid so rampant right now I really just wanted to cancel my order and say something to the manager but didn't want to make the employee uncomfortable or myself. So I called just like I have every other time there was an issue with the service or my food and yet again the managers do not genuinely care. They must get that from the owner because I did take it so far as to track down the owner through a different location because that's how difficult it was to reach him and he did not seem concerned at all and both times I got rushed off the phone. Unfortunately I will not be going back to get my free meal I was promised and will drive out of my way to go to a different location. read more

Trained friendly staff and great subs. I wish they would keep expanding as I'm only able to come here when I'm on business in the area. It is not your typical fast food sub shop so the prices are slightly higher. All subs are similar to the toasted Quiznos subs if you are a fan of those. read more
