For the price, $19-20, you can find better Mediterranean food. The pita was dry, and the rice was just regular yellow rice. The lamb was okay, and so was the sauce. There are definitely better quality Mediterranean foods for this price!

Falafel is amazing, fresh, crispy yet soft inside. Made to order. Hummus is delicious and creamy. Dining area is clean and modern with a feel good atmosphere. Perfect light lunch or dinner place with friendly fast service. A can't miss for Mediterranean cuisine.

Excellent lunch! My travel companion saw the Falafel King sign and we decided to stop in for a quick bite. He had the daily special (gyro sandwich, it was Tuesday) and I had the lamb shawarma plate. We both ate way too much and loved every bite. They also have a communal "appetizer" plate up front with fried pita and accompanying sauces. Wonderful! This was an unexpected surprise that I'm happy to recommend. (Frequent traveller from out of town).

Service: 5 Cleanliness: 3 Food: 4 Portion size: 5 Came here with a family of four. We ordered a falafel veggie burger, chips and hummus, vegetarian Combo plate. Best part was the falafel. Falafel was very crispy from outside and saw from inside. Probably the best for the fall we have eaten in Minneapolis area. The person on the counter was super friendly and very helpful and took pride in serving. Definitely coming back.

Came in to pick up some fries. They were very good fires at that! Nice and crispy on the outside without being burnt. I can't talk about their other food as I only got the fries, however, if you're ever in the mood for some Greek food my friend loves this place. I also noticed while I was there someone ordering a burger, it looked pretty good if your ever in the mood for a basic burger.

One of the yummiest gyros I've had in a while. The seasoning on the fries rocked too plus the friendliest service I've had in ages! I used to go to Falafel King a lot when I lived in Uptown. This is just as good, if not better.

Need a cheap place to eat that doesn't clog your arteries? Wan't to think outside the bun .. and or the taco? This might be the place for you. They make very nice Shawarma and gyros. The shawarma meat is somewhat curried with turmeric, which is not typically what is common in the Middle east.... I have seen the turmeric thing here in US Mediterranean places only. You also get welcomed with complementary homemade-pita chips and hummus This is their second store in the twin cities area and I am glad they came closer to where I live :P

This is a Greek/Mediterranean takeout place with a decent amount of seating and some appropriate grocery items. Really nice people working here. I got the Mediterranean Platter which was full of very perfectly-cooked meats and rice, salad with very fresh veggies, a Greek dressing ant tzatziki. The latter two were EXCELLENT, really creamy tzatziki and really flavorful Greek vinaigrette. A lot of food. Not cheap, but I'd say normally-priced. I've also gotten their house-made Dubai Chocolate. It is the best Dubai Chocolate I've ever had. BUT! Get the stuff from the case that they make, not the packaged bars on the counter. The latter is mediocre, but the stuff they make, the stuff in the case, you guys. YOU GUYS. That is why this is a five-star review.

I honestly barely noticed because the smell of yummy foods hit me as soon as I got inside. I think they do most of their business as take-out or pick up, but we actually took advantage of the small dining area attached. The service is nothing fancy- order at the counter and they'll bring it to you. But ya'll- the food! It was really some of the best Mediterranean food I have had since moving to the cities. That hummus -as the kids say- SLAPS! It had a little spicy topping on it and they served it with warm pita breads. I ordered a gyros platter and it came with enough rice to feed a crowd! Even the salad was delicious. I told my husband right away- this is 5 stars.

My recent visit for lunch was the first in several years, and I'm pleased to report that the lunch…read morebuffet remains one of the best in the Twin Cities. I go there for the delicious Middle Eastern food, which, for a buffet, is amazingly fresh and tasty. It helps, of course, that the buffet is replenished frequently. It includes a wide variety of salads, hummus, pita, soup, protein, and desserts--and it's all delicious! If you have not been to the family-owned Mediterranean Cruise, the building itself is surprisingly large and impressive. It features a 25-foot or higher ceiling, a private dining area, and even space for belly dancing presentations. While Mediterranean Cruise offers Mezas, soups, salads, rice and hummus bowls, sandwiches, and more off the menu, you must try the buffet to truly appreciate the breadth of their offerings. Highly recommended.

I have pretty high standards for Greek/Mediterranean food, and it just doesn't stand out anymore. The pita has been dry, although the hummus is still solid. The platters are fine overall, but nothing particularly memorable. Service has also been a bit underwhelming recently compared to past visits. That said, the atmosphere is still a highlight. The space feels very authentic with all the decor, and the belly dancers are always a fun touch. The patio is also nice if you're able to sit outside. Parking can be a little tight in their lot, but there's a ramp nearby which makes it easier.
