This visit was on February 21, 2026, less than a month since Alex Pertti was shot and killed by ICE, only half a block from the restaurant. I was glad to see the restaurant was filled, even very early on a Saturday night. The waitress was friendly and very competent. The humas was as usual, wonderful: creamy and tasty. My wife ordered the appetizer version of the Spanakopita, which was enough for her to consider it a entree, along with a soup. I had the dinner special of broiled Atlantic Salmon with white wine and butter sauce. It was served with asparagus and rice pilaf. This is something that I had never tried at Christos and it was excellent. It also came with a house salad, which was also very good. The total, with one glass of wine, was $70.88 plus tip.
