My dad and I decided to make a drive to go grab lunch, and we don't regret it! The food is just as good as we remember. I had the Italian beef sandwich and made it a combo meal to get fries and a drink, he got the Turkey Bacon Ranch Sub. Both of these were delicious, they are a bit messy, so grab some napkins While the dine in seating was pretty quiet, the drive thru is obviously quite popular for lunch. It's a standard fast food type atmosphere, so there isn't much to comment on. It did take a while for us to get our food, but I think that's due to the lunch rush and number of drive thru orders. I would definitely recommend Doc's for a quick lunch or dinner, the food is worth the wait!

Doc's Seriously Good Food -- Seriously Disappointing Experience…read more If zero stars were an option, that's what this place would get. The service was mediocre, the food was overpriced, and the overall experience was far from what the name suggests. The red flags started before we even walking inside: overflowing trash outside. Then came along someone before I ordered waiting over 30 minutes for her food, followed by the questionable presentation of the trays; dirty tray, paper, dirty tray, paper, stacked one on top of another. Between the lackluster service, excessive wait time, and questionable cleanliness, this place missed the mark on every level. For the prices they charge, I expected a whole lot better. Seriously good food? Not based on this experience. I won't be rushing back.

The Road Dawg Family Restaurant is my dad's regular Thursday spot, and he brings me here every time…read moreI'm in town. Located right off the interstate, it has that classic highway diner feel. The main sign on the pole has definitely seen better days, and the place as a whole feels a bit run down. As you walk in, be careful of the trip hazard at the entrance--it's a bit uneven. It's a little "divey," but don't let that be a dealbreaker. It's just an observation, a reminder not to judge a book by its cover. Note to management: Some minor fixes could give it a little more curb appeal. Stepping inside, you'll see the main dining room and an old buffet area that I assume hasn't been used since COVID. It's all a bit dated, but clean and functional. They serve breakfast all day and have a full lunch and dinner menu as well. Even though it was a relatively busy Sunday morning, we were greeted and seated quickly and didn't have to wait long for our initial service. Almost before I could take a sip of my no-frills, bottomless cup of $3 coffee, our giant portions of breakfast arrived. It was an omelette kind of day for us. We placed a special order for my dad (he's got his usual), I got the Denver Omelette ($14) with jalapeños, and my stepmom ordered the Meat Eaters Omelette ($15). They opted for toast, and I got the pancakes, which were a meal in themselves. While the prices have increased significantly since my first visit, the large portions are big enough to share or take half home, which is exactly what we did. We were a little ignored and never asked if everything was as expected. We did, however, get coffee refills and eventually received the bill and some to-go boxes. Another note to management: The bell that incessantly rings every time someone comes or goes needs to go! By the time we left, I was anxious and extremely tired of the bell. I feel sorry for the employees who have to listen to that all day long! Overall, this place does a good and honest business. Aside from the bell and the slight dip in attention, we enjoyed our meal.

The clerk who took our order was helpful as I was juggling two kids and deciding what to order for the fam. And after we quickly got our food, she came over a couple of times to check on us, helping us get some extra silverware and napkins. The spot was clean, and the noodles were what you'd expect, which means decent portions, tasted pretty good and at a reasonable price. Also love that the kids meals come with smaller size Rice Krispy treats -- my kids' faves. My husband and I were able to eat something that wasn't a burger on our long drive home, and my kids actually ate their meals too. Noodles & Co. is a solid food option.

The young male team member actually noticed there were multiple tickets that were printed so took the time to ask me if I had been double charged, which was very much appreciated. There is a one star deduction due to the ingredients, not being absolutely the freshest, but I would not put that on the staff fully, and more on the chain.

Great meat flavor, seasoned well and caramelized edges, just like you want a smashburger to be. The bun is just super, it appears to be buttered and grilled.
