Firehouse has become our go to restaurant when we do our shopping in Baxter. Awesome deals on the app that actually make eating out affordable in this unreal expensive economy! The staff is always super friendly and we get our orders fast! The bread is so Amazing! I haven't had anything bad here yet! The French dip is so dang good. Highly recommend! I live 3 hours from this location and for some reason the app sent my food there. I immediately called before they even started making the food and they said they would not make it but could not refund me- customer serVice had to do that. after 3 weeks of back and forth with customer service telling me only the store can refund me and the store telling me only customer service can refund me, I still haven't gotten anywhere. I am still waiting for this stores owner to reach out to my regarding the food I paid for that the restaraunt didn't even make because I told them within a minute of placing the order it was the wrong location. First of all... I love the driving force behind this franchise and all of their donations and the support they provide for first responders. That being said this location has terrible customer service and is ridiculously slow... I just waited 20 minutes at the window for my 1 sandwich. When I asked why it took so long I was told there were "65 sandwiches ahead of me". Not sure how that was even possible... they may need to rethink their procedures as their ticket time is significantly longer than a well run full-service restaurant. read more

Absolutely terrible! Took 25 minutes for two subs. The lemons/lime for the iced tea were slimy. Restaurant was very dirty. Staff wondering around acting anything but professional. Some had uniforms yet some looked like they had clothing on from the night before and never went home to change. The flow of ordering was messed up. We had never been there and some of the options were hidden so you didn't see them until after you ordered. First time at Firehouse Subs. Simply delicious! Good service and met all expectations!

Where to start with this location... First of all, if you haven't been to a Firehouse Sub shop, go - they have quality ingredients and very flavorful, generous sandwiches. Just please don't go to this one. We were excited to see one come to Baxter, and stopped by in Dec 2019, shortly after they opened. It was not a good experience. We attributed that to the "newness" of the crew, and decided to give them some time to get themselves together. Today was that day. It was not busy. They were running a crew of 4, and we were one of 2 couples in the place. We ordered 2 sandwiches to eat in. Both sandwiches (in to-go containers) were wet with fingerprints? and lettuce bits - yum. My wife had the brisket sandwich. The bottom of the bun was soaked through, and when she took one of the sandwich halves out of the container, it dripped for close to 10 seconds. They said someone forgot to drain the meat, and made another one - it was barely warm, and the brisket was almost as fatty as bacon. The mac and cheese was half full and missing the crumbles. When we mentioned that, the guy brought a big serving of crumbles, and said "Is your mac and cheese cold? I hope to God its not cold" as he walked away. The Mello Yello tasted like watery Sprite with a shot of Mello Yello - its like their very modern soda machine is set to "econo-mode" - its even worse than Burger King soda. Everthing - EVERYTHING - was off. My sandwich was delicious, although for some reason, all the turkey was on one end, and I had to re-distribute it. As we left, no one asked how it was - they knew it sucked. This is not a good example of a Firehouse, and we will never be back. Try the St. Cloud location - they know what they are doing. read more

We all allow for slow service during this COVID world but to say the drive thru service was slow would be a compliment. A sign posted in the drive thru window warned that all sandwiches are special order so to serve these sandwiches may take some time and where they ever correct. By the way my made to order hot sandwich was cold but fortunately for me my family was hot waiting for these special sandwiches. read more

The sub was fantastic, the crew enthusiastic! My only complaint is the mac and cheese! I'd rather eat Kraft from a box, this stuff had no real cheese that I could detect, and a very fake cheese flavor. I hope this place stays around, but the location is more for the tourists up 371, we only went to try it out, as it is out of the way! read more
