We all came here after work because this sub shop is one of our favorite go-to places. I already knew what I was craving, so i ordered the large Firehouse asteak and Cheese sub for $15.00. Its huge and actually even bigger than a foot long sub. The tender steak was the best part, and it also had provolone cheese, onions, green bell peppers, mayonaise, and mustard. I think they added more mayonaise than mistard, but it was still as awesome as ever, and I managed to finish off 3/4 of it by the time we left. I wrapped up the rest to take home for later. It was a fun time except for the blaring television with ABC news which was annoying because we had a hard time talking with each other. I would have gove five stars but for the two very loud televisions, which was probably set-up for the employees' enjoyment.

I remember my husband frequenting this place when he was in school - I guess it was an alternative to Subway and other sub places. I loved the decor, with the dalmatian-spotted tables and the firemen outfits hanging all around. We ordered their Steak & Cheese hot sub from their 'Hot Specialty Subs' section with a side of Firehouse Chili. The sub itself was just okay, and interesting to dip it in in one of the hot sauces. The chili was my favorite as it was nice and hot, hearty with the chunks of beef and beans, and with not too much tomato. Delicious! A solid place to eat some hot or cold subs and friendly service. They also have Miss Vickie's potato chips available. +does not accept Yelp check-in offers T_____T +chili +Miss Vickie's chips available

The sandwiches here are phenomenal. Sure they cost more then Potbelly and Subway, but I would pay the extra $1.89 (I think a sandwich is around $6.89) any day! My Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar brisket was piled high and did not need any extra condiments, but added the cherry peppers and some "Alligator" style hot sauce. The meat was so tender. They actually have beef brisket that they use to make the sandwich, not weird, creepy, looking meat. I like their hot sauce bar. The numbers rate the hotness level. The "Alligator" sauce I had was a six-tangy and zesty, but not too hot. BP had the Engineer and we both loved it. I loved it a little too much since I wanted to eat more of it then offered :) Also, Firehouse has those cool soda machines with like 120 different soda combinations. Their Firehouse Cherry Lime-ade is worth the a shot! Also, Fully Involved means the sub has mayo, deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a kosher dill pickle (on the side).

Medium Steak and Cheese Sub, lime coco-cola, miss vickie's sea salt chips.

The restaurant has a decent sized dining area with a large television to keep patrons entertained while they wait and eat. The guy working the counter was awesome. He was very friendly, helpful, accommodating and attentive. The restaurant serves subs, sandwiches, and of course, wings. They have some traditional wing flavors such as BBQ, teriyaki, garlic parmesan, hot and Thai chili. They also have some exotic flavors available such as 24K Gold, salt and vinegar, moon dust, gold dust, Old Bay, rosemary, and Nashville firecracker. They all sounded so good. I had a tough time deciding what to get. Everything looked and sounded so delicious. So, I ended up order a Philly steak and cheese, and 5 honey old bay wings with fries. It took about 10 minutes for them to prepare my food. It was fresh, hot and very delicious. Everything was perfect. The wings were crispy and a unique mix of honey and old bay seasoning that just feel off of the bone. The fresh were perfectly seasoning and my Philly was very flavor. My meal did not disappoint. I highly recommend checking this place out. They have some really good food and high quality service.

Today, we were greeted quickly and warmly and shown to a table. My Dad had a huge burger, which he said was good. My sister had the Gumbo- I tasted it and it was delicious! My Caribbean chicken and shrimp would've been delicious, but the chicken was way way too salty! The shrimp and beans and rice were both good. I'm so glad I ordered the sauce on the side because it ratcheted up the salt level to briny. Our server was adequate. The dining room is in a sort of weird U-shaped to me, but and spaced to serve. Our server was nice, but we didn't receive silverware until after our food had already been served, which was a little frustrating especially since the restaurant was not very crowded at the time. One positive was that parking was very convenient and easy.

We got two 3 tender meal combo (fries & drink) and a slaw. It took about 10 minutes to get our food but it's made to order. They kitchen/cooking/prep area is open so you can see them make it! Breading and frying the chicken & fries. Hot and fresh. They also check the temp of tenders for doneness. They dip the chicken, then they dust it. Comes with their Crimson sauce as well as ranch. The chicken was hot & juicy. The hot was spicy. Fries were hot and crispy. Ranch was good. Sauce was good. Only negatives were the pickles could have been thicker cut and fresher as well as the slaw. Slaw was vinegar based and wilted. Crunch & crispiness wasn't present. Food was on par with Daves and Canes. Maybe better in quality and price. I wished slaw came with meal. My first memory of Jollibee's, a Filipino-based chain, was from Southcenter in Seattle, where I discovered their very good fried chicken. The Seattle location was wildly popular, and so is this Alexandria outlet. So practically speaking, due to the popularity, it may take some time for your order to be prepared. Be patient! The kiosks help with getting your order in, but when I used the kiosk, it errored out when I tried to order a fountain Pepsi. That's OK, I'd rather have Coke anyway, which they do not have at Jollibee's. Even though chicken is Jollibee's specialty, I wanted to try the Angus Cheeseburger. I also ordered an Ube pie. The burger was pretty good. The bun was great and so were the toppings. But unfortunately, the meat was salty as all get out. I don't know if that was a one-off experience or that's how they do their burgers. I have very fond recollections of Ube ice cream in the Filipino halo-halo dessert, so I had high hopes for Jollibee's Ube pie. It was nice that they heat their Ube pies. The crust is very good. But the Ube filling was disappointing. It had zilch Ube flavor and was kinda runny. Still, I'm glad there's a Jollibee's here in NoVA (there's also one in Chantilly).
