Went with a group of people last week. They have some great menu choices. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich which was really good and had fried okra too (good stuff). Cool place inside with good customer service. We all enjoyed our food. Definitely coming back!

I love this place! There's not really any decent BBQ in North County, making this business worth the drive. I have done takeout several times and have dined in as well. The quality of the food is outstanding; however, sometimes the brisket is fattier than usual. I've tried all the meats and that is still my favorite... followed by the ribs. My go-to sides are the fried okra and spicy creamed corn, but I would happily eat any of them. My husband's favorite is the brisket over mac n cheese with fries; it is a heavy meal and good for sharing. I really like the fat corkscrew pasta and thin cheese sauce! Everyone is consistently friendly here; the ambience is loud and fun. There's several televisions, a bar, al fresco dining, and a decent amount of interior space. One time we hoped to visit and it was closed for private event via a piece of paper taped to the door; we saw no indication of closure when checking the website for hours of operation that day. Overall, I highly recommend this spot! Pros: - really good meats - family meal to try a bit of everything - parking lot and street - friendly - food presentation Cons: - none really, except they might randomly be closed

This place is awesome. The food? 10/10. The vibes? 10/10. We got the pulled pork sandwich with side of Mac and cheese, and it was so good. Really a comfort meal for me. The meat is super tender and soft and the Mac and cheese was super good some of the best I've had. They have a good spicy bbq sauce as well.

I have been walking past by this place for months. The aroma from the barbecue is enticing! Firehouse has indoor and out door seating. They have counter service. The staff is friendly, helpful and inviting. The food is delicious. No complaints at all. I'm from TX, and have had a lot of barbecue growing up. I'm use to daily home made barbecue sauce and fixings on the side like onions, jalapeños and pickles. I noticed this trend in not in CA. Maybe one day! We will definitely be back to Firehouse! I enjoyed our food and experience.

This local bbq restaurant is smoking and slow cooking fine quality meats from ribs to chicken. This restaurant is a spacious, warm and homie interior with indoor and covered patio seating. We loved that they featured wine from the local Fallbrook Winery. Service was very friendly and welcoming. The baby back ribs, tri tip and chicken were the best we have tried in San Diego. It's served smoked and dry so you can pick your sauce. We will be back. A must try in north county. We loved it!!!

Got the family meal for two people. It was enough for us both with left overs, and not much more money than two entrees. The potato salad was really good, as was the Mac and cheese. The fried okra was kind of soft tho and wasn't very good I thought. The sausage is rather spicy, which I was surprised about. The tri tip and chicken were very good here as well. The pulled pork and brisket were okay. Not very flavorful tho. They ran out of some of the meats and sides. The creamed corn was also spicy, so I wasn't able to get that either as I'm a wuss with spicy food.

We wanted something different on the way back to SD. Found this little place in Fallbrook! It was an old fire station, which was cool to see as a fire retiree myself. Old pictures placed inside and still look's like some original treasures there from back then. Chicken sandwich and fries were very GOOD! My salad was plentiful and had a lot of chicken. Staff was very friendly. We will come back for a sunny day lunch!!

Had the brisket sandwich. Very tender and moist. Lots of flavor. Plenty of bbq sauce at the tables. Friendly staff and average prices. About 12 beers on tap. Sports bar feel.

We found this place once and have not gone to any other bbq place since the flavors the meat the service is unmatched the employee with the purple hair I love her attitude she makes it so fun even just ordering she always cracks and joke and make me laugh last time there was live music which was a pleasant bonus MAC AND CHEESE IS SO NICE AND CREAMY the ribs FALL OFF THE BONE the chicken is nice and tender I highly recommend the sampler plate you get a little bit of everything and I think they are priced very very fair food always comes out nice and fresh we have. Nashville fried chicken sandwich with side of fried okra

Absolutely wonderful place and I highly recommend coming here if you are in Fallbrook! We wanted burgers after a decent hike and decided to try this out. It is located in an old firehouse and has an eclectic ambiance. They have T-shirts from a bunch of breweries on the walls, pictures of the old firehouse and other cool art. They have tables and booths and everything is super clean. The lady who took our order was very nice, friendly, helpful and checked in on us intermittently, which was nice. We ordered the beef brisket sandwich with a side of beans, the Nashville fried chicken sandwich with a side of fried okra (both sandwiches with slaw inside the sandwich rather than on the side), a beer and a cider. The Nashville Fried chicken was excellent! Fiery, saucy, crunchy, absolutely delicious. I couldn't stop eating it! Slaw inside the sandwich is the way to go by the way, as they only do meat and bread otherwise. The brisket was also good, but needed more sauce and felt a little plain flavor wise when compared to the blast of flavor from the Nashville fried chicken. The fried okra with the spicy mayo dip was excellent and I recommend taking this as a side. The beans were decent but, again, felt blah in comparison to the okra. Both the beer and cider were excellent. The pricing is also reasonable. We will definitely be back!

I don't often leave reviews anymore but the service was so amazing I had to leave a review. Every single person we were in contact with - from placing our order, checking on us at our table, bussing, etc - I think we saw every single person there - they were so kind. And the food was AMAZING! TVs with padres game on. And my friends picky kiddos ate the food too - so that's how you know it's great lol.

One of my favorite bbq places!!! The food is so good!! The ribs fall of the bone and are always flavorful. The pulled pork sandwich is one of my favorites. The bread they use ,the pulled pork , and the slaw are the perfect combination together. Definitely one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I ever had!! The service is always excellent. My husband and I moved to Fallbrook a few months back and have been slowly trying the restaurants in town. Yesterday, we decided to dine at Firehouse Que & Brew and it was amazing. My only regret was not getting the names of all the wonderful ladies working. My husband rarely tries new things and they encouraged him to try the pull pork and he fell in love. Food was okay, ordered the chicken sandwich to find the large patty was all breading and a thin, dry beaten down piece of meat inside. The Mac and cheese brisket fries saved the experience. Also asked for a side of pickles for a to go order and received a not so subtle "get lost" response from the cashier. I hardly think it'd take 20 minutes for a side of pickles but that was the expectation set from the girl working. I'd understand if it was crazy busy but there were only 2 groups inside plus 1 at the bar. I read the customer service was horrible so we figured to go would be safer, alas, we were wrong. read more

Our favorite barbecue place in town! Our family of 6 gets take out here as as often as possible! They support our town with generous fundraisers, customer service is incredible. Food is delicious & reasonably priced. We love it! Our favorite things are the kids meals choice of ribs, cheeseburger, or nuggets that come with a choice of side like their bomb Mac and cheese, coleslaw, potato salad, spicy corn or beans. Also comes with a drink for $6 bucks! Also their pulled pork is incredible as well as their brisket! Melts in your mouth! Their potato salad taste like my grandmother used to make, so good! We highly recommend them! Now I'm starving....maybe I'll call them right now! You should too! read more

I have been driving by here for a few weeks smelling delicious bbq. Today I decided to go there for lunch with my son and can I say I am glad I did. I wish I would of came in sooner! The cashier Kaili (I know I spelled her name wrong, I'm so sorry) recommended what to get and was so incredibly sweet!! I decided on ribs, garlic mash, and fried okra. The food was freaking amazing. I wish I would of taken a pic, but I ate it too fast!!!! Then I got peach cobbler to go. My son got the chicken bbq sandwich with Mac n cheese. Everything was so good. I will absolutely be back. Next time I want to try the pull pork sandwich. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!!!! I highly recommend!!!! read more

I mean, I love bbq.... I liked this place but I felt like there was a lot of liquid smoke or some artificial stuff in the meat. I don't know that for sure, just my opinion. My bff and I ordered some huge meat lovers platter so we got to sample all the meats. We ate it..... all! So it was good..... just not the best. I would go back. read more

Service is great,, atmosphere the same.. I asked if Garlic fries were that(real garlic chopped on top)) I received garlic powder fries.. my nephew received twice fried fries, he asked for fresh ones and was given some over fried.. other than that all was just good read more

As a tourist we were looking for a place to eat after the pumpkin patch. I couldn't believe how busy the place was. The service was great and the food was what I expected. The smell as you near the place is smokey good. Thank you for an interesting experience, it happened to be their Octoberfest night. read more

One of my favorite BBQ restaurants ever. I get everything on the menu and its delicious. Pulled pork is so tender and the variety of bbq sauces they make are all fantastic. Everyone is super nice here as well which is a bonus. The bread pudding is a must have as well. read more

My family loves this place! Great restaurant quality food, cooked fast and awesome service. We sit outside picnic style and can hear music, enjoy the fresh air but warm with heat lamps. Staff are the best. Add the beer bar, smoked meats and various sides ... we come back often. read more

Let me start off by saying that the food was delicious! I got a meal for two which was more than enough for my boyfriend and me. The meat was so tender to the point where it would just slide off the bone. The garlic mashed potatoes were the best I've had in a while. The restaurant atmosphere was relaxing. I really appreciated that they had board games to play while we waited for our food. The customer service was on point! The owner was very friendly and he even gave us some original sauce to go. Would I recommend this restaurant to friends and family? OF COURSE! read more

What a BBQ gem! We came in on a Sunday and we were so glad we did! We sat at the bar and Melissa guided us through the menu and told us all the town favorites! The Mac and fries were so good! We also had the brisket plate- so perfectly done and moist! Spicy creamed corn was on point (not a fan of the mayo heavy slaw) but the true favorite was the bread pudding! It tasted like a churro! The vibe was casual and the staff, in particular Melissa was so friendly and funny! We will definitely be back! read more

Came in with the family for a quick lunch had a rack of ribs with a couple of sides its cool we were watching NFL Red Zone food came out but it was not hot the sides were luke warm and the rack of ribs looked like it had better days it was very dry might have been cooked from the day before. Overall it was ok been coming here for years so I can't say I wont be back just hope for a better experience next time. read more

Im SO bummed. Weve have received take out from firehouse so many times with nothing but great feedback but this time was different. We ordered a pound of brisket,two hot links, large garlic mash potatoes, and large creamed corn. A pound of brisket is 25ish dollars so I expect to receive exactly what we pay for. The whole meal came out to 65 dollars and normally we have enough for a whole second meal. When we opened the brikset we found three small peices of brisket, definetly NOT a pound, the sausage was lacking flavor. The corn was spicer than normal but you couldnt taste anything else including the corn itself. The only thing that held its normal glory was the potatoes. Really felt like a huge waste of money.. and thats not a great feeling. read more

Don't wanna' say how great this place is because I want it to be my little secret but I just have to! Small group of us on motorcycles got there a little too early before they were open. Hoping they'd let us hang out in their outside patio we were welcomed inside and greeted by the sweetest bubbliest waitress on earth. Then the bbq master greeted us and explained in great detail all the different delicious meats he was preparing. Food was fantastic and you just can't ask for better friendlier service. I commented on the chicken on this company's Facebook page and they threatened to sue me over the comment. I argued that this is America and we have a freedom of speech in our constitution and we as Americans will exercise our constitutional rights. Then they changed there review columns to public which is fine if you don't bad reviews do not ask for any at all. You can not just treat someone bad for there opinion.
