We stayed in spot 77 and 78 a tiny home (which was perfect in every way) and our friends loved the spot 78 for their RV. The band they had pool side was amazing as well. Very nice pool! "Luxury" is a stretch at this point. This place created more frustration than vacation. We paid almost $1k for 4 nights and a golf cart. The only luxury amenities we saw was the pool. I consider concrete pads and electricity pretty standard at places we stay. We booked a golf cart for use over the 4th of July holiday. When we showed up they informed us they didn't have one. They had overbooked despite the Manager assuring me this would not be a problem at time of booking, so I cancelled a third party rental. Signage for site # were wrong so we drove around for 20 min trying to find our spot. We had view of staff parked cars and a fence once we located it. They did not have fireworks show and this was decided before rain came in. They never posted it on their website which didn't work many times we tried. When we went to office for help it was empty most of the time. The guy at front argued with us about something almost every time we came in to the park. I hope this place gets new management. It's a great location but no one wants to pay good $ for more problems while vacationing. This was disappointment and frustration all the way around. read more

Second time staying. here. First time in an RV. It is a great place, friendly staff and clean. The one thing that was a problem both times ..... the sulphur smell in the water. I understand why it happens. This time in the RV after running the water for hours and filling snd emptying the gray water tank several times , buying water for even brushing our teeth..... we mentioned it to the staff. I am not sure what they did but by the time we returned it was cleared up. If they know, this is an ongoing problem they need to be proactive upfront flush the system do whatever they need to do to make it not happen for each site every time . That is my only complaint and the only thing that kept him from getting five stars . 1/2026 .... their prices have nearly doubled .... nice place but no thank you .... not with stinky water read more

This was such a beautiful resort. It was very clean and the community amenities were still pretty new.I absolutely loved the tiny home we stayed in and it was a great price for 3 days. If you forget something there is a little store that has just about everything you need. At night it's very quiet, and peaceful. We were able to sit by the fire on the patio of our tiny home and enjoy the warmth on a cold night. At the clubhouse they do have events/activities but we didn't go to any since we were here to explore Fredericksburg. I would definitely love to come back. If you have a camper you can also visit the resort and stay. Staff at the gate were very welcoming and provided recommendations. This would be a great spot for a weekend getaway, girls trip, anniversary strip, solo trip. read more

We had a great experience here with our RV. The sites are super clean and the people were really friendly. It is a luxury resort (the sites are privately owned but Firefly rents them out) so it is going to be a bit more pricey. We paid $500 for 3 nights. You are also in wine country so that price didn't shock me at all. The views were also amazing! We didn't get to use the pool as it was late October but I believe the plan is for them to build a new heated pool which will be a great addition. They had a pumpkin coloring contest for the kids, which my daughter won, and she got some candy and Firefly swag! Pretty sure that made her day! Looking forward to coming back. read more

Beautiful!! Stayed in site #184, slight elevation with a spectacular view. Super staff and so clean and dog run for the pups. The pool is beautiful. 5 stars for sure!! Paved roads, grass is, better than most Tx but does have some stickers/ sand thorns. Can't really avoid in TX. read more

Pool was great and cabin was nice but staff was very rude and ruined the vacation the front guard was very rude and arguing with everyone and when we were trying to enjoy our last night We were using the fire pit assuming it was ours but then a very rudely staff lady drove up in a golf cart and being rude telling us to put the fire out. read more

Not family friendly in the summer when you build massive pool complexes for hundreds of spots, then make all but the smallest pool adults only?! Seems like you completely missed the camping demographic. It's no wonder owners are selling all their spots for less than they paid for them - they can't be rented enough to even pay the taxes. read more

This campground is beautiful, the sites are spacious, and the views of the hill country are lovely. But to call this a resort is misleading. When I hear "resort", I think of restaurants, bars, massage salons, nail and hair salons, music, and a variety of outdoor activities. Firefly has 2 beautiful pools, - one for adults only and the other for families. They also have a cornhole game set up next to a very large dog park. That's it for amenities. They have a guest services office where someone is rarely in attendance, and a store that was closed during our entire visit. They charge $5/day for a towel and $100/day for the use of a golf cart. We prepaid for 4 days of golfcart use, but since there was nowhere to go, that was a big waste of money. If they opened the store and sold some Firefly merch, seems to me that they wouldn't have to nickel and dime the guests for the use of a towel. The temperature in the bathrooms was very cold, but they were modern and well maintained. While they provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower stalls, none of the bottles were labeled. I think I used shampoo on my skin by mistake, but who knew? If you plan to go, make sure it's on a weekend because there might be some events to attend. read more

The park is clean and beautifully maintained in 2024. Each site is spacious with beautiful views of the lovely park or surrounding countryside. The adult pool "waterfalls" into the family pool and they are both gorgeous to view because of their design. This is one of my favorite RV parks. My only complaint was the pool water was ice cold, colder than any pool I've ever been in. Quite a disappointment when you see such an inviting pool and you can only dip your feet in for a few minutes, if even that long. read more

this place is way over priced! I get that they have guarantee coverage but when you have to pay extra fees for extra people, or extra fees for an animal, or resort fees, and booking fees etc. it gets to be a little ridiculous. I planned a family vacation having never been to the area and wanted something nice. My husband works in the oil industry and because there is an abundance of oil companies spending money right now for equipment my husband has to cancel our vacation. I understand if I was calling the night before unable to stay and ask for a refund or credit but 12 days ahead of time is sufficient time for another person to book or for that space to go unused as it would have had I not booked in the first place. Make sure you are certain nothing can stop you from going because they don't care about the reason for cancelling. I was even willing to only ask for 1/2 of the money I had already paid which was $261..... but nope they didnt want to discuss it. Did the resort look nice? Sure it did but when people are watching their money these days and prices increasing everywhere maybe you should consider how you will look to future occupants. Could I have stayed somewhere less expensive and less nice with better refund policies, sure. So lesson learned, however, this very type of incident is more impactful than had you just maybe asked the owner of the spot if I could have 1/2 the deposit back or allow me to use it on a later stay. When you arrive, you are handed a packet of information. The gate guard asked if you have any questions. We are first-time at this park; how do we know what questions to ask. We picked Site 90. It is awful. The side of your back in Class A RV faces a couple of containers on dirt. Site 90 was one of the last places available. Simply understand why it had not been booked. It is the very first spot as you drive thru the gate, it is uneven and a miserable site. We were told that the site does not have internet access when we arrived at the park. No one informed us of that fact when we made the reservation. Why wouldn't whoever own this spot offer internet access for the amount of money you pay for the spot???? UNACCEPTABLE ! ! After booking, we were informed, not ahead of time, that if we had a visitor, they would be charged $50 a day to enter the park. When we made the reservations there were only 2 of us in the RV. We had friends that joined us after the fact. We were charged $5 a day per visitor to reside in the park. Please DO NOT choose Site 90 if you make a reservation. We will NEVER stay at this park again. read more
