    Burnt pizza

This is the second time I've had their food. The first time very poor service but we were taken care of. This time my pizza was burnt to the point of almost charcoal. The pretzel bites were also burnt. My wife's pizza was cooked perfectly. The husband and wife were nice so it made the food tolerable. I tried to share some of my pizza with my son and he was only able to eat 2 pieces. We took mine and my wife's pizza home to compare and it was night and day. Not sure what happened but we are not sure about coming back anytime soon or recommend this restaurant. The restaurant was clean and we really like how it's set up and the food selection but for me, this is strike two.

I'm surprised there are reviews stating friendly service. I was completely ignored, had to ask for salad that came with sandwich, was completely ignored and tempted to dine and dish. This could be a great place, but service is beyond rude. I felt incredibly unwelcome. Came in 7/3 at 2pm. Bartender was content to completely ignore me. Food was okay, but I wouldn't return to be treated this way.

A great spot for pizza or salad with a bunch of beers on tap. Even had a couple of sours (my new addiction) for me to test out. Pizza was delicious, the salads my fellow diners had were massive. Highly recommended.

Stopped in for a quick bite. Food and microbrew selection was terrific! Such a cool spot for the small community to have.

Too expensive for the low quality pizza. More coverage of toppings and the crust to be crispy on the bottom too!

QBC is my 308th brewery! Not exactly local for us but it was a great little day trip…read more It was pretty cold so no outside seating today but no worries as QBC has a nice indoor bar area. I told the beer tender to set me up with a flight of five, while SWPFTD ordered a pint of the Angel Peak Amber. Purple Flat Top hazy IPA is a really good IPA with great hop flavor but very manageable bitterness. Peewee Falls hoppy Pilsner didn't work for me. It had a little bit of an aroma and flavor that didn't appeal. YMMV. Timber Mountain tripel was good for me. I was tempted to go with a pint of this but decided on another. Iron Mountain stout had a nice roasty chocolatey flavor to it. Very drinkable! Bangs Mountain dark Kolsch was a good beer as well. I also tried the amber which SWPFTD ordered. This was a decent little amber. SWPFTD approved. Our daughter-in-law had ordered the wassail and it was pretty cool to see they had one on. I decided to go ahead and revisit the hazy IPA. They don't have food at QBC but they had a food truck when we arrived. Lola's Good Eats was REALLY good! QBC is a great spot. Great beer and all! It's a seat yourself place and there were open tables so we went in. The waitress was friendly and brought drinks right away. Then took our order. We ordered burgers with fries. It was Friday night, and I only saw one waitress with the bartender helping occasionally. Our order took FOREVER! We seriously almost walked out. But we had ordered beers so we would've had to wait to pay! At one point, the waitress even made a joke as she walked by about how long it was taking. Our burgers finally came. They weren't bad, but I thought mine tasted a little off. Not spoiled, but with some kind of seasoning, I didn't enjoy. The fries were good. I thought the price was a little high for what we got. I doubt that we will go back.

The local vibe where everyone knows each other and treat you like an old friend is something you can only find in a small town like Chewelah. The service is friendly and prompt and our server, Megan was awesome. On top of that, the owner, Jesse, stopped by the table to check on us. The food was reasonably priced. What surprised us was that the food was insanely prepared. It is very clear that the staff here doesn't just want to put a good plate in front of you, they want it to be perfect. I will say it again, the food was amazing and it clearly showed how seriously the staff takes making sure they get it right. Pay attention to the daily specials and trust that this is something you MUST order. I wish I had taken better pictures of the pork medallions and the Cajun shrimp, but I had honestly not planned on writing a review and was so impressed, that I had to write this review. If you are in the area, stop by. If not, it is worth the drive! Wow!

Hubby had the chicken salad with a side of blue cheese and ranch, salad was fresh but the chicken was gooey and gristly and tasted like Walmart precooked chicken from the frozen aisle but hey both of the salad dressings tasted very low quality as well (definitely not house made ranch and the blue cheese had no blue cheese must have grabbed it at Walmart when getting the chicken). On a positive note staff were nice and place was clean. I want to support local businesses but serving up this mess... we definitely won't be coming in again. Very disappointing.
