The place had been open less than an hour and I went to order and the girl behind the counter spent the whole time talking to her coworkers while putting toppings on my pizza that I didn't ask for. When I told her that she became upset and gave an attitude. Her coworker jumped and helped out because she was deliberately going extra slow and would ask me slowly what I wanted. When my food finally came it was thrown on the counter but everyone else had their food delivered to their table. I just wanted to get out of there the customer service was so awful. Today my sons and I had custom pizzas made here. I explained to the lady Zoie that I was deathly allergic to pineapple and the topping I wanted was sitting next to it. As she proceeded to put spinach on my pizza I noticed it was next to the pineapple so I asked her to remove the spinach and use the portion that was furthest away from the pineapple. Without hesitation she immediately did as I asked and even took the time to change gloves and used a clean cutter to cut my pizza. I really appreciate her care and professionalism. What a great little lunch spot! Make your own pizza and salad places usually disappoint me due to their rushed nature and poor quality, but that was not the case here. Staff members were so patient and friendly, recommending which items paired well with the ones my family and I have already chosen. We went with both salad and pizza. The ingredients were so fresh. My first time at this location, but not my first time to Fired Pie. This is one of the increasingly-popular "we-make-your-pizza-now-with-the-stuff-you-want-on-it" places. (A lot of people I know call them "Chipotle for pizza"). As usual, the toppings were fresh and the pizza came out quickly and tasted great. The crust was crispy, the cheeses were melted, and my toppings were hot. Their lemonade was very fresh - I saw the guy pour a whole new batch into the machine while I was waiting. I believe it is freshly-made; mine had a bit of lemon pulp in it to support that theory. The main highlight here was the staff. All of the "pizza builders" were friendly and efficient - which was good considering the crowd in the place on Sunday afternoon. One employee even helped my wife carry our 4 pizzas to the table. They kept the tables cleaned off as the customers finished and vacated them, and the line pretty quickly, despite the crowd. I don't live anywhere near this location, but we'll be back if we're in the area again. read more

They recently opened up in the Tanger Outlets at Westgate, and we hadn't tried it...so away we go. We both ordered individual pies we designed ourselves, which I really like. While you go through the line, they literally make it in front of you. I appreciate seeing the ingredients, because that can make or break my decision on what to add. I went with the tomato sauce, mozzarella & parmesan cheeses, meatballs & steak and garlic & artichoke. Hubby went with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, meatballs and spinach. The crust is thin, so it only took a few minutes for them to be ready. They were really good, too! The crust was nice and crispy, which we both like. To drink, hubby went with Sprite and I chose lemonade. I usually prefer ice tea, but they only had flavored ones, which I do not enjoy. We were a bit surprised that they only stay open until 9pm on weekends, but whatever. It's not like the mall closes, it's open-air, we could still enjoy a pie after the stores close. The pie was so good, I had to give them 4 stars, but if they had better drink options and stayed open later, they may have gotten all 5...oh well. read more

So we went in and the first thing we noticed was that they were serving wilted looking romaine lettuce, which no other restaurant in town was because of the recall due to e-coli. When I asked the server about that she had no idea what I was talking about. Fine, I thought, I just won't order romaine. I then asked for a gluten free pizza and when she pulled out the crust (one of those pre-made bread ones) it had green fuzzy MOLD spots all over it. She threw it in the garbage and went to the back to grab what was hopefully a new fresh bag. I reluctantly asked for just oil on it and moved on to my next pizza. So then I ordered a pizza on regular pressed dough, and the one she grabbed was all dry and crusty looking in spots so I asked for a fresh one from the bottom, (someone was just pressing fresh ones that looked much better), and she actually informed me that it was company policy to serve the oldest ones first. I told her I just saw Moldy old products and didn't trust the old ones so please let me have a fresh one. SHE REFUSED. And told me that everything was fresh. (Ha!). So, that being strike 3, we left and had a much better meal elsewhere at Blaze pizza. I don't know about other Fired Pie restaurants, but stay away from this location because obviously they do not care and specifically train their employees to not care about the ingredients they are serving to their customers. read more

I tried Fired Pie today after being a religious MOD pizza customer and i was quite disappointed. The only reason i'm giving 2 stars instead of 1star is because the pizza itself was tasty. I had asked for extra pineapple and canadian bacon since there isn't an option for extra on the online ordering but they still didn't put extra. I asked for ranch and they gave me 2 containers so i asked for 2 more since they were barely filled up and he charged me $1 for 2 more. I was pretty disappointed by that because i understand paying for extra ranch but at least fill them more than half way, the containers are already small. Then i ordered a baked mac n cheese online only to pick up my order and see they just served regular somewhat warm mac n cheese in an aluminum container. First of all i thought the mac n cheese was going to be bigger since it's almost $9 and it was an extremely small portion & there wasn't any bread crumbs or "bakedness" on top. I'm speechless. This place is beyond good! Finding somewhere to eat at the Tanger Outlet Stores was always a challenge. It was either the Nestle Tollhouse and Coffee store or the Wetzel Pretzels. Now though, there is absolutely a place to eat you have to visit even if you don't plan on shopping. This place is worth the drive and the parking issues at the Glendale Tanger. $7.95 seems a little ridiculous for a personal pizza but it's a bargain in my eyes. It's more like $7.95 for a gourmet pizza and it's still seems like a bargain. Ingredients were fresh and the pie was baked to crunchy perfection. Fired pie is delicious. Popped into this location with the wife and son for a good little pizza and salad. Only customer in line. Waited about 5 minutes to place an order, no biggie really. Young woman behind the counter has a piss poor attitude. Demanded to lock the door and keep customers out when one more family came in. Throwing plastic gloves in frustration when was asked to complete a task. As the young man working was making our pizza the employees were openly and vocally badmouthing their boss and generally throwing attitude around. I've never received an order so hilariously wrong in my life! We ordered a pizza and salad online to go, but arriving at the store the said it wasn't sent it. Upon further investigation, the employee working the to go station was so overwhelmed that they had just started setting the tickets to the side. Fifteen minutes after our pickup time, our order was started and at its completion headed home to enjoy. Wrong! Both my salad and pizza were made incorrectly which we thought may have been someone else's order at first, but it was just right enough to know better. They left off four of our salad ingredients plus the dressing and two of the pizza ingredients. Is it possible that someone could have gotten things so horribly wrong without doing it on purpose? I came here today at 3:30 Wednesday November 17th and was first in line. The two girls said rudely it would be a few minutes before they could start my order because they were busy. After 15 minutes of watching the girl talk on her personal cell phone she finally took my order. She was very rude just saying "what else" after everything I asked for. They then proceeded to make everybody else's order in the line while I was waiting at the register for another 10 minutes. I asked for a water cup and she charged me 2.50 for it. I asked for it to be removed and they did remove it but my entire experience was awful. The pizza was OK but the service was worse than a 1 star McDonald's.
