They came out several times for quotes and brainstorming, helping me identify where I would need structural reinforcement for their install, assessing slope and pitch for the tree issue and ensuring that the view of mount Rainier from my house wasn't obscured by the new glass roof. They worked with me from beginning to end, gave me a warranty and have stood behind that warranty several times as small issues have arisen over the first year. At first, they claimed they couldn't start until they received more information once they got it, they added another four weeks to the schedule. After I submitted payment, communication became sparse and inconsistent. Joe repeatedly promised updates and completion dates that never materialized. This ongoing lack of communication and follow-through has cost me hundreds of dollars per day in delays, and continues as I have yet to receive the finished permit-ready drawings. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company they do not deliver on their commitments or communicate in a timely manner. If you don't have money to waste stay away.

They could have just been lazy and left the rebar the old guys did, but Terry thoroughly looked at everything that was already done and redid everything so it would last. I was kept up to date on everything along the way and things were explained to me so I could make knowledgable choices along the way. Terry was patient and advised on some design ideas I had and created a wonderful end result. The job was done quickly and he stood by his work to get me just the right color and match some existing concrete steps I had. Extra bonus, he is a nice guy and answered some questions I had a year later about how to apply sealant and gave me a thorough and helpful reply. My husband and I have been working with them since 2020. Our first project was our 480 sq ft casita in our new home. The casita had not been touched since the house was built in the late 80's and it was very outdated. The first two estimates I receives were in the high 40's and 50's to remodel the 480 sq ft. CCD's estimate was in the low 30's and they stayed in budget and only went over schedule a few days which was not their fault. Every tradesman we have to go into the casita has postive comments on the workmanship. Tom and his team created a beautiful space that we could have my mother use while she is here in WA helping take care of our daughter. We have since used them in other projects in our main house: - adding a closet system for our daughter's room - adding a window to our basement guest room - closet system for the owner's suite - creating additional storage in our daughter's room - adding safety rails in our home - creating a statement wall in the owner's suite - making custom window treatments for the owner's suite - removing old built in from the house that were installed when the house was built in 88 - creating storage, statement wall and a custom desk for my office. For example, after having some molding installed we realized it wasn't the look we wanted. While some contractors might have been frustrated, instead Considerate promptly replaced it with one more to our taste, free of charge! The owner assured me that their motto is to not leave a job until the customer gives the go ahead, and in my case they clearly lived up to that work ethic. Thankfully, we all made it out safely, but we stood outside completely horrified and heartbroken, watching our home burn while knowing our two beloved cats were still somewhere inside. While the firefighters were still at our home, I received a phone call from Owen Guape. In the midst of complete chaos, Owen introduced himself in a calm, reassuring voice and simply told me that he could help. I was overwhelmed, distraught, and sobbing, but something about his demeanor gave me enough reassurance to say yes. Within 20 minutes, Owen arrived at our home with water for our family and immediately began offering comfort and support. By 9:00 the next morning, Owen and his team were back at our home, tarping and boarding it up to make sure it was secure. But what I will never forget is that Owen spent hours helping us search for and rescue both of our cats. Miraculously, they were alive, but terrified and hiding. His willingness to stay and help us find them meant more to our family than I could ever put into words. The kindness did not stop there. Owen personally delivered several of my husband's suits after they had been cleaned at their facility so that he would have clothing to wear to work. Within days of the fire, several members of the Pacific Northwest Restoration team met me and our insurance company at the house to begin assessing the damage and inventorying both the structure and the contents of our home. They have worked seamlessly with our insurance company throughout the process, which has helped take an enormous amount of stress off our shoulders. On the contents and project management side, I have had the privilege of working closely with Rieley, Lana and Amanda, who have truly been by my side throughout this process. They consistently keep me updated on what their team is working on, explain the next steps, answer my questions, and have even coordinated multiple deliveries of our belongings to the rental home where we will be living while our house is rebuilt. Meanwhile, other members of the team have continued working at our home, removing debris and handling the ongoing cleanup. I often think about what would have happened if I hadn't answered that random phone call in the middle of the night during the scariest experience of my life. I am incredibly grateful that I did. A year later when selling our house they found unrealized damage from that fire. The presure from the fire hoses soaked the plywood and created mold in the attic. The roof was replaced with new plywood in 2019. The insurance would not pay for machines to dry the attic out. They did however pay for new insulation, for Attic and crawl space. A year later Northwest Restoration mitigated the mold at no cost! So we are giving 10 Stars, and recommend them highly!
