The tech did a great job in fixing the pipe. He was also very helpful in providing info on turning the water back on.

He took the time to listen, ask questions in regards to the situation, and walked me through his analysis based on his knowledge and vast experience as a former fire marshal. What I respected and appreciated the most in the experience was his genuine sincerity to assist in the matter. I highly recommend the staff at Allied Disaster Defense.

I recently attended an "in person" presentation at Allied Disaster Defense, West Covina, CA by Rich…read moreSnyder, Former Sierra Madre Fire Captain, Fire Marshal and Allied Disaster Defense, Wildfire Risk Specialist. Rich's message was informative and to the point, "California has a growing wildfire problem and Allied Disaster Defense is stepping up to the plate to address the problem, head on". Allied's business model is impressive as they not only provide fire, smoke, mold remediation and restoration services, but have teamed up with former fire service professionals who specialize in wildfire firefighting experience and fire prevention knowledge to protect your home during the fire season. By installing "home hardening" equipment such as spark arresting roof vents, rain gutter screens and replacing highly combustible vegetation around the home with attractive "fire safe" landscaping, the threat of fire is significantly minimized. If an Allied wildfire specialist determines that an additional layer of fire protection is needed, Allied will apply a fire retardant product around the perimeter of your home to slow the progression of fire. If you live within a "High Fire" or "Very High Fire" severity zone, give Allied Disaster Defense a call before the fire season begins.

I highly recommend American Fire Protection Systems. When I had a pipe leak that turned out to be…read morethe sprinkler system pipe, they were the only ones who knew how to shut the water off. Golden State Water didn't call back until hours and hours after I reported a water leak emergency, and the regular plumber who came out (while a really excellent person) unfortunately didn't have the licensing or training on how to solve this. The team at AFPS hopped on a FaceTime call with me and talked me through locating and shutting off the water and open the drain valve to prevent further water damage. Afterwards, they were able to come out and fix the specialized pipe. Their price was reasonable, they had a positive attitude throughout, and even identified a problem with the build where it looks like the builder didn't put a nail plate in the stud to protect the pipe. They installed a nail plate at no added cost at their own expense. Overall, they solved what was a quickly growing disaster and I am very grateful for their support. Also, although I'm leaving a glowing review--they never asked for a review. They didn't offer freebies of any kind for a review like I've seen with some other businesses. These guys are the real deal and they'd be the first ones I'd call if I ever had a similar issue in the future. Thanks for your help, AFPS!
