I ordered off the ala carte menu, a shrimp taco, cheese enchilada along with rice and beans. Back where I come from we have combination dinners on the menu, so I made my own. The Enchilada was well made had just the right amount of cheese. The shrimp taco was wrapped in 2 soft corn tortillas and the rice and beans-were rice and beans with a good flavor. I was the only customer at the time but again I was early for the dinner rush and late for lunch. They get 2 thumbs up from this traveling Texan.

Chips were ok as was the salsa but all could have come from the grocery store shelf. The queso was watery and didn't taste like it's made with cheese at all. Taco and tostado no better than what you'd get at Taco Bell and the rice and beans were tasteless. The Texas rice bowl with shrimp was better but just barely. This place has heavy competition from El Mezcal down the road. If it's going to survive it needs to up its game. We won't be back.

They came with two different chips, flour and corn which I haven't seen anywhere. Pretty kool. Drinks were forgettable so I won't even mention. We went a day after Christmas so they got busy, we didn't really see our server but when we did she was nice and pleasant. Couple of tv-s around to watch some sport if you wish. The room we sat in was warm, fam said other rooms are cold so I'm glad we didn't have to experience that. Was around 20 degrees outside so that was more than enough to deal with. There are so many places to try and so little time. Can't wait to go visit again and check more out.
