I called Fircrest Towing which I have used in the past, but, alas they are under new management. I needed a jumpstart, was quoted a price and was asked if I would be paying in cash or credit. I stated credit. The driver promptly arrived and gave me the pricing and asked if I would be using cash. I said "no", I told the office I would be paying by credit card. Driver said he had been given the wrong payment instruction or do I have Zelle then contacted the office. I was asked if I had the card and told them no I would have to go in to my house to get it. Driver told me I would have to use it over his phone, I asked about a receipt and was told it would be emailed me. I was very skeptical because this is not how the previous owners handled transactions. I told the driver I was not comfortable with this and I would call someone else. He still had the office on the phone and they began yelling at me that why would I call another company since they were there, but I did not like how this monetary exchange was going to take place. Office continued to yell over the phone saying they were going to charge me for coming out. I just walked away and went into my house. read more

My car was "borrowed" by a friend's daughter who proceeded to "forget" where she left/lost it for an extended period of time. After calling the Sheriff's Dept. who so kindly helped me track down what company had been called to come tow it away from an evicted tenant's rental. He documented with pictures where it was abandoned. I met with the owner who so graciously and kindly met me quite late in the afternoon to return my car. He was careful with the vehicle when towing and it was securely stowed. What a wonderful and honest person. I have kept his card for future reference (since Fircrest is an AAA approved tow company) and will recommend them to all my friends. Our car had a frozen ignition lock with the car parked with permission in the next door neighbors drive. The front wheels were locked in gear at a 45 degree angle as well as the car being parked at an angle to a long steep drive. I called Triple A and they first sent a flat bed and then a wrecker with both drivers saying it was an impossible tow and therefore could not provide service. I had visions of having to rent a crane. I called a local auto service business and the manager was kind enough to come out to evaluate the situation. He recommended Fircrest Towing. Fircrest Towing came out promptly at the agreed time. The owner/driver assured me he would have no problem and he placed the car on dollies and he had it towed down the long steep drive in about 12 minutes. Jason is Very Unprofessional, arrogant and rude. I stopped by his office to see if he was available. His gate was open so I figured he was around. I knocked on his door. He has a car for sale out front of his business sign with a sign that says for sale and has details about the vehicle and it says call or text for all other questions. I sent him a text message to see if I could set up a test drive as I am looking for a car for my 16-year-old daughter. He proceeded to show up at the property in his tow truck comes bailing through the gate at high speeds pulling up to me brandishing a weapon. He starts cussing at me and tells me the Cops are on the way so he recommend we leave.. he was accusing us of trying to rip him off because there are a couple other vehicles there as well which we were looking in the windows of to check mileage to see if they were possibly for sale also. Like I mentioned we had already sent a text so we figured someone would probably respond or show up to the property to possibly let us test drive the vehicle for sale. Since it is a Sunday afternoon with the gate being opened you would think that they are excepting business. With all that being said his actions and his words he was not excepting business and he verbally told me he would not sell me the vehicle he said do we know how many people have robbed him? And the police have done nothing about it so he's going to start taking matters into his own hands and he was going to start shooting people. That probably describes why he brandished a weapon. I have never in my whole life been treated this way by a business owner. I felt so threatened I wouldn't use him for a tow if my life depended on it and I surely would not purchase a vehicle from him neither. So stay clear of Jason Lee and Fircrest Towing he seems to be a ticking time bomb who needs anger management and a lesson on hospitality. That is not how he should treat people of the Fircrest Community!!! This is not the projects. Jason if you were not open for business today maybe you should be at home relaxing and winding down so you're not so wound tight that causes you to act like a firecracker towards a completely innocent female. read more
