Our 2026 Dodge Durango had the transmission go out on the freeway. We had it tow to our home by our insurance. We had to have it towed to the Dodge dealership to be repaired. We called last night and asked to set up a tow for 9:00 am this morning. The driver was here at 8:58 am ready to hook up our suv and get it to the dealership. He was careful, speedy, and really polite. The driver met us at the dealership and it was the easiest tow we have ever had despite the transmission being uncooperative. Warning: Deceptive Business Practices I am sharing this experience to protect others from what happened to me with this tow company. A vehicle I owned was towed and impounded. When I contacted the company to retrieve it, they demanded $750 in impound fees. I paid the full amount they requested. Despite accepting my payment, they refused to release the vehicle, citing a title issue. What they failed to disclose before accepting my money was that they would not release the car regardless of payment. This is fundamentally deceptive. They had two honest options -- accept payment and release the vehicle, or refuse payment upfront. Instead they chose a third option that benefited only them -- they took my money and kept the car. This practice may violate Washington State consumer protection laws and UTC tow company regulations. If you are dealing with this company, I strongly recommend: * Getting everything in writing before paying anything * Asking explicitly whether they will release your vehicle before handing over any money * Contacting the Washington UTC at utc.wa.gov if you experience similar treatment I wish someone had warned me. Thieves. Had an angle grinder in a work van that a family member crashed. Told them about retrieving it from the vehicle and it somehow disappeared and they never supposedly touched it, despite everything else being intact in the vehicle. They kept denying how I needed to have everything in inventory writing. Not an honest tow company with any integrity. read more

When I called these guys, immediately greeted by an AMERICAN who was friendly and seemed knowledgable, after only 45 minutes they were there, and my man Poono the absolute GOAT got my currently 3-wheeled, lowered, welded diff sh*box on the flatbed in 5 mins flat. Super friendly, professional, and fast, much better than Insurance who supposedly had someone "30" minutes away for all 6 hours I was waiting for them. There is a ton of towing competition out there so USE SOMEONE ELSE!!!! In the middle of the night they came for my neighbors car and used my lawn to park their huge towing truck. The next morning a large portion of our yard was muddied up with tire marks and our stepping stones were dug up. We have pictures of the truck in our yard and the aftermath. So very grateful for this company! After my boyfriend's car died we needed it towed to a repair shop and we had a flat tire that also needed to be fixed. Paul was the amazing gentleman that helped us and made the entire situation stress free! Turns out, the car was a goner so we needed it towed back home the same day. We waited less than 30 minutes each time for Paul to arrive. We had two tows and a tire change for less than $150! It didn't cost us an arm and a leg! Thank you so much for your amazing service! FITZ Towing is publicly slandering me and they have blocked me from their page. I'm posting for a friend. She owns 3 very successful businesses she's not out for your money FITZ! It's about what's right and what's wrong. You state your driver was in the area and then take a TOW TRUCK to the police department to have them look for damage!! You mean your Tow truck has ABSOLUTELY NO DAMAGE AT ALL!!! Must be a new one.... Their driver hit me and my son. There is evidence. He did not stop after hitting us. We clearly tried to flag him down and he ignored us even though there was no way he could have missed us. I called the police and filed a report. Instead of apologizing and making sure that my son and I are okay, this business made a video saying that I made a false report and that it's a scam. When I commented with the details of what happened, they deleted my comments and blocked me from their page. FITZ towing doesn't care about truth or justice and they're probably going to keep hurting people. read more

My boyfriend had his car towed by this worthless company, he left his wallet with $400 in it and when he picked up his car they had taken all the money out of his wallet, they left the front windows down over night and all the interior was drenched. Fitz towed an old Honda civic that was totaled. I telephoned ahead of time, and was told exactly what to do, and where to go.I brought my friend to retrieve his belongings from his car, and they assisted immediately. He paid to have the car destroyed, and off we went. We had one glitch, but it was our doing and the receptionist/dispatcher walked us through it. We dealt with two people, one tow truck driver and one dispatch or receptionist. Both were friendly and professional. Price was good, so it was as good of an experience as you can get considering the circumstances of situations like this. read more

Not a customer, but I did encounter one of their drivers while he was on the job today, so I think it's fair to leave a rating. I was walking to my vehicle with my newborn baby in a cart when I saw a Fitz' tow truck blocking my car..looked like he had just arrived to tow the truck next to me. I very politely asked the tow truck driver if he minded circling around the parking lot, so I could get my baby into my vehicle (36 degrees and raining today). The tow truck driver responded with "Yes, but you're going to need to calm down." What a bizarre response, especially since I asked nicely with a "please." The customer that was getting his truck towed even commented to me that I had asked nicely. Anyway, if this guy is the face of their company and my first encounter, I don't ever care to do business with them. From someone who owns their own business, you should treat every person like a potential customer and treat them with respect. read more

Very unhappy with their towing practices. They charged me double (2 hrs @ $372) because their new hire could not find the largest collision place on Central avenue in Kent. My car was hauled from the Kent East Hill (116th & 248th) down into the valley (3.2 miles). I waited at the collision place as agreed for 45 minutes. I called the dispatcher and was told the driver had been waiting at the wrong collision place! If they would have taken my cell number like I asked them to twice, they could have called me, but they wouldn't take it. When they finally arrived with my vehicle the surprise bill was $372 if I wanted my car back. Yes, the entire ordeal did take about an 1hr and 45 minutes, BUT 45 minutes of that was not my fault, they could not find the most prominent collision place in the entire valley (with an enormous sign). Fitz Towing will not return my messages. I will avoid this company like the plague from here on out and will also ask the KENT PD to stop using them. read more
