I had the unfortunate event of needing to be towed, what made this unique was after having a tire blowout on new tires, I called the tire manufacture as roadside service was included in my purchase. My hope was that they would bring me a new tire and send me on my way, but unfortunately, they pay for a replacement or tow and since no shops were open, I accepted the tow. The ETA was 90 minutes, I wasn't jazzed about that, but what could you do? In that time, I decided to look up Union Towing to find out what I was in store for. I have to admit, I got nervous quick. Many reviews were not positive and several called out the owner as the problem. That said, some reviews were positive, and the positive reviews called out how nice the driver was. So not really having alternatives, I waited. The driver literally showed up at the 90-minute mark. He introduced himself and was very kind. In my experience, it's usually 20-30 minutes to get hooked and booked, but this driver had my car secure in about 5 minutes. Even better once on the road, he hustled, I've been towed with the driver about 5-10 miles under the posted speed, but y driver maintained the limit. I'll give these guys 5 stars based on the driver, but here are two simple things that truly would have made this 5 star. I would have loved to have heard from the driver saying he was on his way. USAA linked me up with Aaron F and he picked up my Impala real quick. Kept me updated the whole time until he arrived. He tried to get the thing started but the battery was dead dead. I just had a flat changed by Union Towing. It took a little longer to get to me than originally told but not too long. The driver called and updated me on the time which was nice. I wish I caught the drivers name. He was super friendly. He was fast and did all the work. I hope I never have another need for towing service but I would use Union Towing again if I do. read more

Sara, the dispatcher is awful! Tow set up through State Farm and Union was dispatched with an estimate of 75-105 mins. I waited 2 hours before calling to check status. Sara answered and said "If you had been watching the news you'd have seen there was a fatal accident on I5 so everyone is delayed at least 30 minutes!" Ma'am, I wasn't watching the news because I have been sitting in my dead car for the last 2 hours. I just asked for an approximate ETA and got spoken to like I am just annoying her and should know better than to ask. Gross. Called State Farm back and had them cancel the tow from Union and set up a new tow with another company. Despite now having to wait a little longer, I would rather not give Union my business. Worth it. Good customer service goes a long way. I suggest you set up an automated notification system that will send customers at least a text to let them know if delays occurs. He was familiar with towing (flat-bedding) an electric vehicle, which are quirky, and prioritized doing the job carefully and safely, rather than rushing since it's a flat rate per job through insurance. The road side service was much better than expected! My car wouldn't start outside of the Walmart parking lot by the Outlet Collection mall in Auburn, WA, so I submitted a claim through StateFarm. Once their dispatch picked up the claim, I received notice that it would be 50-80 minutes before someone showed up. I contacted the dispatch company's customer service line. The lady was curt but professional and advised me that the driver was on the way and to keep the line open because he would be calling me. A few minutes later, StateFarm's tracker for the dispatch time changed to about 30 minutes, but the driver showed up after 10 minutes. The driver was nice, funny, reassuring, and professional. He tested my battery and alternator and provided a jump start. He even gave me advice on where to purchase a battery. The Yelp reviews made me think I was going to receive subpar service, but it was great. I didn't pay for the service since it was through my StareFarm coverage, but I would definitely recommend this company based on their speed and helpfulness. read more

USAA outsourced to a crap company called Agero, who in turn outsourced my service to these clowns. 1.5 hours later, ETA was said to be imminent, after 3 hours I called and they told me to F off, they canceled because they didn't want to do it, never passed that along. The only reason I gave this company any stars was because of the fantastic driver. Yesterday my car unexpectedly started leaking oil due to a major issue caused by my dealership while driving about 20 miles from home. State Farm connected me with Union Towing via the roadside assistance program. I was initially provided with an ETA of 75-105 minutes. 2 hours go by and no one shows up so I call union towing directly and the woman who answers informed me there was delays in picking up other tows and they were down a driver so it would be another 30 minutes. I waited 1 more hour and no one shows up. Try calling union towing again and my call goes straight to VM so I have no choice but to call State Farm and would you know it, they answered State Farm and gave more excuses stating they already updated me, however that was 1 HOUR AGO. They then tell my insurance it will be another 45 min. Another hour goes by, still nothing. My driver finally arrived 5 hours after the request. The best part is, they only notified him that my car needed to be towed 10 MINUTES before he headed out to me. Had they been transparent on the timing from the start we would have switched to another towing company from the start. Absolutely do not use this company and I hope State Farm drops them as a partner as I've already given them my feedback. read more

This is the worst place you could have tow your vehicle. Sarah (THE OWNER) was rude to me right off the bat, she wouldn't even tell me her name at first. I had them tow my car and was charged $100 more than I was told when I scheduled the tow. They added extra miles on the tow that weren't necessary. When I was trying to explain as a consumer the price we were told per mile should stay that way, not increase overnight, She hung up on me. VW roadside assistance contracted Union Towing at 3:15 pm the accepted the job and it said 60-100 min. they looked close on the gps tracker so I was hopeful they were doing a job nearby and would hen come to me. At 4:32 pm I got an update that said 20 min, so I waited and at 5:08 pm and called in. My son and his friends broke down on the side of SR18 at 7pm. I called GEICO roadside assistance and they were able to get a tow dispatched to arrive at 9:30 from a different company. After wait until 11:30 pm the other company called and canceled the tow. My son and friends were still on the side of the hwy. I called GEICO back they dispatched Union Towing, Larissa called me within 5 minutes. She was calming and reassured me she'd get someone there immediately. At this time I was driving from Olympia up to get them. She assured me that the driver was only 20 minutes away and the he'd get everyone home safe. I turned around to come home and by the time I was home Larissa was calling me back to let me know that the car and kids were loaded and safe and they were on the way back to Olympia.
