Several months ago I was in need of a tow. I have towing coverage and had to use someone in their network. I didn't want to wait 2 plus hours for a tow so I started searching for a company and came across Budget Towing. They weren't located to far from my location and I contacted them. I didn't have to wait very long for them to arrive. Oscar is a literal HERO! I just got off work at my brand new job where I require my car for Outside s Sales. It wouldn't start. I live in Tacoma I called Oscar for a ride back to Tacoma with my broken car. He offered to take it back to a shop and diagnose it. They say open 24 hrs but they dont even answer the phone. Was broke down on the 512 freeway and called them a few times and no answer. Waste of time trying to get ahold of anyone there. Called Puyallup towing and it took an hour for them.to show up but atleast they answered the phone and eventually were able to get to me. As a matter of fact all the other places I called didnt have anyone like Gene's towing and Nofke's to name a couple. I live in Orting ans even First chance or chance or whatever they call it now just had someone answering the phone and no drivers. It looks like Puyallup towing is the most likely to be able to help anyone. read more

I called Oscar at Budget towing for a quote to flatbed my pickup to a garage. I gave him the make, model and year of the vehicle, he gave me an acceptable price and we set an appointment for 8-9am the following day. At 7:15am somebody started pounding on my door..... I got the keys and met a less than polite driver who said he was in a hurry and needed to drop off my truck prior to 8 because he had another job.... Luckily, before loading my truck he told me it would be X-amount for hookup, mileage and a "heavy vehicle" fee.... I informed him I had a quote from Oscar who knew exactly what the vehicle was and I was not going to pay more. This guy was quite rude, told me I was going to pay his higher fee because rates were determined by weight. I told him he could leave if he did not wish to honor the original quote and I would call another tow company. This guy was downright rude, loud, and extremely unprofessional, thanked me for wasting his F&#@^!% time and he would call every tow company and tell them not to deal with me.... Again, I told him it was time to leave...... Well.... As it turns out, he did not call Sergey at Sky Tow..... Sergey gave me a quote actually lower than Budget, was at the house in 20min. Sergey was polite, professional, had really nice equipment..... He carefully loaded and secured my truck...... accepted the requested fee and was on his way.... I am extremely pleased with the service Oscar provided. My 2005 Kia wouldn't start and I needed it towed to the repair shop, about 5 miles away. I called around and was told from every place it would cost $130-$150 average plus x amount of $ per mile, loading fees, etc. I called Budget Towing on a whim, and despite this business having no reviews, I decided to go for it. Oscar was very friendly and punctual. I called at 11, and by 11:30 my Kia was loaded up and on the road to the repair shop. Best of all, the cost was significantly less than other towing companies. No random fees attached, and I appreciated that. Oscar said he tried to aim to charge about 30% less than other towing companies. Their website advertises $50. hook up fee, $3. per mile and 20% discount off the mileage fee if mentioning the Ad. We called to confirm the that the price was accurate mid week, they confirmed it was accurate. Friday we called them to schedule a tow, with a distance of 14 miles. When scheduling the tow, suddenly the price was substantially higher. When I questioned why the sudden change, the owner said the web site was 20 years old and it wasn't accurate. I asked why we were told two days ago that their web site price was accurate when we had called and he couldn't give an answer. But did proceed to tell me that I wouldn't find a rate better then what he was offering me. The rate he was offering was 138.00 which was a very reasonable rate but it was more about principle, they out right lied to us and on top of it false advertising to get business. I canceled the tow and called another tow company... and I ended up paying 140.00 Hopefully your company reads this.....Honesty is the best policy!!!! read more

Oscar got me out of a tight spot- stuck in the deep mud right next to an iron fence. I was really worried about damaging my vehicle and if even possible to pull me out from 50 yards off the road. I was surprised to come out to use my car about 7pm one night and my car was completely dead; had worked just fine the day before. I've only lived in the area for 5 years and because I don't have car issues I had no clue who to call. I felt I needed a tow truck company that could not only pull my car out of my garage but also bring a battery. I read the reviews for Budget Towing and called Oscar. He was everything the other reviewers said: easy to work with, prompt and willing to work with me. Able to take my car back to his garage and work on it if necessary. Turns out that on my car the battery is behind my left front tire, ugh. Oscar got my car running, replaced the battery and I had my car back within a couple hours. I could not start my car. Lights, etc all worked. I was referred to Budget Towing and they called within 10 minutes. They explained their fee ($80) to tow from my house to the garage. I explained the problem. The response "sounds like a key problem". I had forgotten to bring my keyless keys which I usually have in my pocket. The response: "Remember us next time you need a tow".
