Matt came out this morning to pick up my LLY Duramax, lost my brakes, thankfully i was only going like 2mph when the peddle hit the floor but thats an entirely different story. Blackberry bushes do indeed stop slow moving trucks (For the record). Besides that, Matt and Liberty Towing were fast and profesional. Matt himself is GREAT. He's damn good at his job and he actually made the depressing part of towing my step child Durmax to Les Schwab a fun process. Lots of jokes. Can't say it loud enough. Fast, very professional and a damn fun guy to hear his jokes. Dont let this go to your head Matt. 10 out 10...out of 10! read more

Had liberty towing out today. We've used them once before. We got lucky and had Richard again. He was able to figure out our problem and we didn't need a tow after all. They are very fast and communication is top notch. I'll request them next time! read more

I had a dead battery after having it towed to my apartment the previous night, so I planned on needing a tow to the dealership. Geico Roadside Assistance wouldn't provide another tow service since it's the same break down, so I researched towing and found Liberty Towing. Tommy showed up within 45 minutes and offered to jump my car. He got it to start and ran a few quick tests, and gave me some solid information to share with the dealership. He saved me from another tow but helped me tremendously with the battery jump! Thank you! Great service, informative staff, and the price for services is totally fair and reasonable. read more

Stephen was such a big help. We got into an accident on the freeway while traveling and he ended up taking us to where we needed to go in Tacoma. Such a nice guy! read more

I have State Farm Insurance and needed roadside assistance to change out a flat tire. My vehicle was a large van on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis, but because I called it a motorhome, the lady was rude over the phone and would not understand that it was not a large motorhome. Then they didn't show up but failed to notify me they were not coming. I have told State Farm that they were totally unsatisfactory and shouldn't even be on their list to call. The second company, L&H roadside out of Tumwater, was the opposite ... fantastic and extremely well equipped. In any case, the person at Liberty who answers the phone needs serious training on customer service. read more

Matt did an EXCELLENT job assisting me in Bremerton today. My truck developed a fuel line leak and needed to be towed to my mechanic on the other side of Bremerton. Matt showed up in less than 30 minutes and was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I couldn't have asked for better service. Matt's a true professional and outstanding representative of Liberty Towing. read more

I appreciate their quick response to an abandoned vehicle left on my moms property. They were quick and professional. Thanks to Jerad the tow truck operator. read more

Treated HORRIBLY and lied to about several things. I wouldnt trust what I'm told over the phone. You can be told something different in person and have to pay whatever total cost they demand or you won't get your car out of impound. We initially thought our vehicle was stolen and turns out it felt like that, only by the tow company that held it until we paid $770 for ONE NIGHT. That seems tantamount to holding it for randsom. Forced to find street parking outside our gated neighborhood by a legalistic HOA unwilling to allow parking to home owners whose vehicles don't fit in their tiny garages. Liberty added insult to injury revictimizing our unfortunate situation. read more

absolute worst. got a car towed, they had me on hold for 28 minutes on a Sunday night , just to get back on the line and say , oh you need to fill out a form online. towing cost plus storage for 12 hours was 575 bucks. They are thief's, and i would never recommend them for anything the absolute worst company. never park where there is a liberty towing sign. i almost told them to just keep the car, it was so frustrating. plus it was towed from poulsbo to port orchard, 38 MILES FROM THE PARKING INFRENGEMENT THE WORST, THE WORST, THE WORST read more

We had nothing but trouble for over 24 hours getting a tow for my sons car. Going through our insurance company we kept getting drivers that said it was to far to come. Then I called LIBERTY TOWING and the driver called me back within minutes and he was at our home in 30-35 minutes. He was extremely professional and courteous such a pleasure to meet a person like JOEY he truly cares about his job his customer and he called me when he dropped the car off at the shop to let me know it was delivered. Joey is one of those people that you remember. If we ever need a tow again I hope to see him. Thank you JOEY your kindness really made such a difference! read more

Liberty came to my rescue after another tow company dispatched by my insurance company didn't show after a 2 hour wait. Liberty was friendly and there in about 25 minutes. Even my insurance company (Safeco) said it's faster to call a tow company on your own vs. relying on their roadside assistance dispatch service after the fact. read more

LIBERTY TOWING - Orchard Street, Tacoma, WA 10/2/2021- Sat, Chrysler, 4:09 pm Today, I requested a tow through my insurance company. The tow was set up and the request dispatched. I was messaged via text at 1:19 and told 90-105mins. That was expected. Once that time frame expired and no tow truck arrived, I called my insurance company back who in turn contacted Liberty Towing and was told another 30 minutes. Once that time frame expired, I called my insurance company back who, again, placed a call to Liberty Towing and was told another 15 mins. The truck arrived 10-15 mins *after* the *last* delayed time frame. In between the expired time frames and my calling my insurance company to report no truck had arrived, I did not receive not even one text message or phone call from Liberty Towing updating me on their location. When Liberty Towing arrived, the driver was inconsiderate and rude in his demeanor. No introduction. No apology. No explanation. No conversation. Nothing. Yes, I opened a line of communication by saying Hi. He looked directly at me but chose not to speak. After dropping my daughter's car to our home, I said "Thank you, we appreciate it" but the driver said nothing in return. He then very barely missed hitting my car as my daughter was backing up, heading to work. She was in reverse *before* he began pulling off. Lastly, the driver and my daughter drove in the same direction for 10 mins and she later texted me after arriving safely to work, that he was speeding during that time. As was my thought as he was leaving our home. Please ensure this complaint is taken into consideration and the driver is spoken to about his performance. Thank you read more

Joey was so awesome today! My car broke down on me and as soon as Liberty Towing was assigned to me, Joey made sure to keep in contact and made sure I didn't have any concerns or questions. I'll be calling Liberty again if I ever need a tow! read more

My mustang became stuck. I backed over a huge rock and my poor car was centered on it. No going forward or back. Super friendly and very efficient Stephen came to the rescue. I was worried about the dark country road...nope this truck was lit up so bright! It took no more than 10 minutes to pick up the back end of my car and move it. Thank you so much Liberty towing!!! read more

Tommy our driver was #1. Professional, fast & courteous. Excellent at his job. Hard work and we appreciated everything he did. Our MG was in good hands. Thanks again!!!! read more

Liberty came to our rescue after AAA refused service. Our vehicle had been stolen. The police had located it and called us. It was parked in a scary part of town. AAA refused to tow because the vehicle was registered to my niece and unavailable. The police had confirmed that it belonged to us and had released it to us. AAA was more concerned with their liability than our safety. Tommy at Liberty was concerned with our safety and came within 15 minutes of being called. He was very kind, first unlocking to vehicle in hopes that the keys may have been inside. Unfortunately, we had no spare and keys weren't inside, so he towed it to our residence which is the same address on the registration. Being Thanksgiving the rate was a bit stiff but we were thankful the vehicle was in one piece and we were home safely. read more

Horrible customer service. They towed my deceased father's car just a few days after he passed. Wouldn't give the car back because my name wasn't on the registration. Wouldn't accept a death certificate or any documentation at all. I had to get the local police involved. They only returned the car after the police chief demanded they do so. It was ironic because they claimed they couldn't return the vehicle without the police "shutting their business down." Lynda, the staff member I worked with, was very rude and unsympathetic despite the situation being very emotional for me. read more

They got the job done and the price was reasonable, but our tow truck driver made me and my husband very uncomfortable. He did not wear a mask, even when we were in the car with him, and he made several comments that made it very clear that he felt COVID is a joke. He also made comments about how he had threatened to "run over" a bunch of teenagers that were in his way the night before (not totally clear on that story, it was very strange), and was just overall unprofessional. Would not use again. read more

My battery died. They came when promised, we're polite, and got the job done quickly for a reasonable price

What a pleasant experience during a lousy situation! My son's car broke down two nights in a row and needed a tow. We are longtime AAA members, but they were quoting a 3 hour wait. Searched Yelp and found Liberty Towing. The dispatcher was friendly, efficient and helpful. Both tow truck drivers were friendly, professional and gave excellent service. I would recommend Liberty Towing to anyone. read more

Superb service! I had to have my 1986 Ferrari 328 towed in for service today - and it always makes me a tad nervous having a tow truck involved with my car. But Liberty knows what they're doing - Ron Ackerman was my driver and he treated my car as if it were his own. My Ferrari mechanic (Carlo of Alfa of Tacoma) even complimented Ron on being so conscientious in delivering and un-trailering the car. I wouldn't hesitate to use Liberty again for any tow job. Great work, guys! Dave read more

Library Towing totally saved me when I was stranded with a blown out tire on the sketchy gore point of 705. Not only was the driver there in less than 20 minutes of my call he was also super polite and quick at his job. He has to tow me to my shop in auburn and he was kind enough to wait around and make sure I got into the office and secured a new car to drive (I was in a company rig) before he left just to be sure I was safe. I haven't used a ton of tow truck services in the past but none I've used have come anywhere close to this service. I would use them and tell anyone I knew to do the same. I could not have been more pleased with how they turned around a really bad moment for me. read more

In all my 10 years of driving, I have never locked my keys into my car. Until now. I called USAA and they told me the person would be there in an hour. It only took 45 minutes which is hell of a lot better than an hour (especially since I was on JBLM). I believe the guys name was Jeremy. He was quick, efficient, and got me into my Audi without causing any damage. He was also reassuring that I'm not the biggest idiot in the world because it sure felt like it. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Would highly recommend. read more

First I must say, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you are in need of any roadside assistance. You call them and they do not even know how to answer the phone properly like it is your job to ask whats company's name and who they are. They don't give you a courtesy call to let you know that they were going to be late. Manager is super rude and screaming on the phone. You are not allowed to ask questions or explain yourself. I say, you LAKEWOOD TOWING instead. Very good people and courteous enough to give you a call to let you know they are on their way... read more

Dad's car died in the airport parking lot and we called liberty towing to tow it to the local dealer. Can't say I've had a lot experience with towing companies, but Liberty Towing was courteous, professional and timely. Guy on the phone said it'd take an hour tops to get the truck to where we were, and the driver was there within 30 minutes. Nice driver and great service, so 5 stars for Liberty Towing! read more

Liberty Towing came to my rescue when my starter gave out and AAA's system had shut down for the better part of a day putting me in 51st place in line for a tow! AAA told me I could call anyone and they would reimburse me after telling me it could be up to 6 hours before they would arrive. I called Liberty and spoke to dispatch to relay my predicament. She was very kind and answered all my questions with patience and humor. The driver, Stephen, called to tell me he was on his way and was at my location in 35 minutes! Super nice and easy transaction, very conscientious with my car. I will definitely use these folks for any other towing needs from now on! Tremendous experience on an extremely cold and stress-filled day. read more

Patrick helped tow one of my cars. Very helpful and respectful of the car and us as customers. Would definitely hire again.

I was billed from the time the driver was dispatched. He first had to wait in line to get gas, to fill up his truck. Then his chains were all tangled and we had to spend approximately 20 minutes untangling them. Then he drove 50mph on the freeway, and it took us 30 minutes longer to get to our destination then it should have. Needless to say this is shady business. I should not have to pay for their drivers to fill up, or to organize their equipment. The two star review is because the driver was nice and very professional. The lack of the rest of the stars is because this is a shadily ran business that I assume asks their drivers to take their time so they can make that money! Use someone else. read more

I've used liberty towing four times now I think, they have always had very competitive prices and the woman working the front desk is so professional and kind (which you don't find often in this industry). She even gave my a discount after a shady mechanic took my car to his shop super far away from my house to work on and the tow was going to be very expensive to get it back after he couldn't fix it. read more

Joey was great! Tow truck got to us in less than 20 minutes and got us safely to the car dealership! Would recommend to anyone.

If I could give 100 stars I would!! Our truck actually sank like the entire front passenger tire fell into a sinkhole. Stephen C. Showed up to help and oh my did he ever! These guys are fucked up. Got my car impounded yesterday from driving on a suspended license (My fault, I know) and the owner came to take my car away. He said they're closed on Sundays (Yesterday) and they're closed today (Veteran's Day) so I wont be able to get my car until Tuesday (Tomorrow) but they're still gonna charge me $100 a day even though the impound is CLOSED. WTF? Hope you never have to deal with these cheaters/crooks. Also fuck Officer Sergei Andres, guys a dick. read more

Be careful and very aware. Family owned company with very little regard for community honesty. Routinely misleads customers with over pricing, this practice goes over into paying employees. Deliberate lies about pay to employees to get them to work then unjustly nickel and dime the employees till the pay out is not accurate. Promise of $15 an hr only to see $12 instead of what was promised and discussed. Be sure to double check your price and look around first. The reason they're quick is because business is slow and not very valued by community because outlandish charges and dis honest management. True owners do not even reside in Washington so the oversight is not existent Additionally.. Training employee mislead and stole 5 of the accounts that the person he was training did and claim for himself. The employee/trainer was Stephan. My 5th wheel was setup for transport to Tacoma RV and had to be there by 8:0am, I scheduled with Liberty several days ahead of time telling them what, where and time requirement. I was told no problem they would be at my place in Olalla between 5:00-6:00 am, he showed up at 7:30 and tried to connect his 5th wheel to my trailer, after a couple of attempts he realized he had not opened his 5th wheel. Finally we're connected, now it's time to connect power so we have trailer lights and trailer brakes. Low and behold the connection to his truck is is too far for the power cable and is not a standard 7 pin trailer connect but a 6 pin and he has no adapter or cable extension, so he calls his buddies for help & no help. End result is I cancelled since they were not prepared and it was 8am. After he moved his truck off my trailer pad I found a large oil sledge and also several spots on my gravel drive. Final solution was to call Hillbilly, Erik was there in 30 minutes and was hooked up and check the trailer in 25 minutes we were on the road again. Thank you Hillbilly!!! read more
