My kids learned how to swim here and learned about pool safety with the help of their amazing swim coaches and front desk staff. They were patient with our kids and made them feel comfortable in the water. Staff did an awesome job keeping us informed on our childrens' progress. Any concerns that were brought up were promptly addressed by management. We truly felt at home here and enjoyed coming every week. We'd 100% recommend! read more

Booked my kids for swimming lessons at the same time. This was confirmed. When we arrived they stated they made a mistake that the kids swim schedules are different. They knew of the mistake made by their staff and didn't even care to call and let us know. "Sorry, we can't do anything about it" was the response. They have the "I don't give a damn attitude". This is a great place to get your kids to learn to swim. My daughter and son have both taken lessons here. My son started when he was just 3 years old, and has progressed really well. My daughter was older, and had a little more experience, but they both were able to start at their own level and proceed at their own pace. The teachers are very very patient, which is especially important for the younger kids who might get fussy or scared. The staff at the front desk are also very friendly and know the kids by name. Both our kids love going there! Overall it's been a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone! read more

FINS is by far the best children's swim lessons we've found in the area. The instructors are all extremely nice and very engaged with the children. It is also run very professionally - classes begin and end on time, the front desk staff is super helpful, the policies are clear and fair, they frequently assess the kids and move them up to the next level as soon as they are ready, etc. It is amazing to see how quickly kids can learn (and love) to swim with proper technique at FINS! There are only two areas for improvement. The first is the limited number of showers and changing "stalls". There is usually a wait for both. I wish the facilities were more like Pengu, with plenty of changing rooms and showers, a hair dryer bar, a kids play area near the parent viewing area, etc. The second is that they occasionally have TVs showing Fox News and always have the radio playing a super religious station. I find both of those to be surprising and off-putting for a business that should welcome clients from all backgrounds. read more

My granddaughter loves the instructors, the pools, the receptionist. She loves it all. It is a great place to learn to swim. I was amazed at how great everyone is with the kids. The small groups and private lessons are a wonderful way to teach them. I thank God we found this place. I highly recommend giving them a chance to teach your child to swim. read more

My daughter has been at FINS since she was just over 6 months old. She just turned 4, is able to swim on her own, and is extremely comfortable in the water. The teachers are knowledgeable, well-trained, and engaged with every single student. Everyone there from the front desk to the teachers to the manager is so accommodating. Swim lessons are a big highlight of my daughter's week. I highly recommend FINS to any parent of any age child. read more

Big fan of FINS. The instructors work very closely and diligently with the children and provide a fun, safe environment to teach them the basics of swimming. When I take my 4 year old daughter to a public pool I'm blown away by how independent and well versed her swimming is compared to others in her age group. Mrs. Julie is an awesome lady, my children love her. It is great place. My child has autism and he gets a one on one teacher all to himself to teach him how to swim. Mrs. Sandy and Brittany wonderful, loving swimming teachers. They are great with children with special needs. You can tell they are professionally trained to teach children with disabilities. I definitely recommend Fins for swimming lessons. If my child who had moderate to severe autism had learned how to swing can you imagine what they can do with a child that does not have impediments. It is a clean facility, the showers a pristine, the dressing rooms are clean and the have seat for parent to wait for their children and see them while they are being tough. Overall they have nice courteous staff. They remember you name and make you feel welcome. They children have lots of fun. This is the only extra curriculum activity that my son can do, and gets that one on one attention. I also works for him as therapy. I know my son always look forward to going to his swimming lessons. read more

FINS has indoor heated swimming pools in three locations where children and adults can enroll in swimming programs: The Woodlands, Spring, and Atascocita/Kingwood. My kids love taking swim lessons from the instructors at the Atascocita location! The kids get lots of attention because the class ratio is small. Liam and Juli do an outstanding job of running the swim school and training the instructors and staff. They are super friendly and sincerely care about the children and adult customers. If you are looking for a place in Atascocia/Kingwood to sign up your children for swim lessons, FINS is the best place in the area! read more
