We signed him up for semi-private lessons at a facility. He had recently turned 2 and was put with a child much older than him. The first lesson was horrible as he was pulled under the water with no warning. He became so afraid of the water after that one lesson that he cried to even take a bath that night. During his second lesson I became so upset, I told my husband to go in and get him out of the water. After one month and his fear only growing, we pulled him out and didn't know where we were going to go from there. Fast forward to that summer, I was able to snag a coveted spot with Ms. Emily. The first few lesson were hard and there were tears but Ms. Emily has a special gift when working in the water with children. She is loving, patient, consistent yet firm. She establishes a bond with each child so they know they can trust her. She was a God send and exactly what my son needed. She builds a rapport with each family and it is evident that she unconditionally loves your child as she would her own. My son has swam with most of the instructors at All Things Swim. Each one is an extension of Emily's teaching. They are consistent, patient and fun. Each lesson ends with a few minutes of fun time, children always leave the water on a positive note. Our instructors always greet us by name as soon as we walk in door. It makes you feel special, not like you are just another client. My son loves going to swim and cries when it's time to leave. Ms. Emily and her team have built a solid swim foundation for my son. I no longer have a fear when he is around water. I know that he is a strong swimmer and knows his survival skills to safely get out. I love watching him grow in his confidence and swimming abilities.

There is also an annual family registration fee for $35 I believe. They sell goggles, caps, kick boards, towels and suits for a great price. I could find them cheaper anywhere else. All the other swim lesson places charge more than twice as much as Sea Sports and I can't imagine better service.

The facility is beautiful , well maintained and the gym environment is lively and energetic which helps motivate you.

The level of professionalism and schedule conflicts that have risen from Glendy in trying to get my…read moredaughter swimming lessons has been abysmal. I began to try to schedule lessons in June 2021. When we got lessons lined up for July, she canceled due to her getting COVID. After months of uncertainty of when rescheduling would be possible (due to her health) we sadly decided to cancel lessons and try again in 2022. I set up lessons in February/March 2022 for July 2022. Everything was set. I received an email confirmation and text with lesson details (which were very demanding) about a month ahead of lessons, and then a few days ahead. Today, on the first date of our scheduled lessons I received a phone call from Glendy saying she did not have me on her schedule for my time slot and if I can take a slot 2 hours later. As we live in Houston and Glendy is 45 minutes away, I told her I would have to speak to my husband about the change as we both work. I spoke to my husband, and we rearranged both of our work schedules for the entire week. Glendy then calls me back and says we do have a slot that she was just looking at the wrong schedule. I informed her that we just moved our entire weeks around and she apologized for the first time at this time. She then said she would try to move some things around. I got a text saying she will "make it work". I got another call and she said for us to come anyway and she'll "figure it out". What does that mean? I told her I didn't want my daughter to have to share a session with anyone and she raised her voice with me, told me she wouldn't do that, and hung up on me. I sent Glendy a text saying I didn't appreciate her hanging up on me especially after we have been accommodating on all the changes. I got another call from her saying she figured out a solution by asking another family to move their session and we would get a session today later in the evening close to the rescheduled time which I accepted. Now out of the blue, this afternoon she called me to cancel our lessons indefinitely and that we can find someone else to give our daughter lessons. This woman is unprofessional and unorganized. I do not recommend her services.

He finally was able to provide a phone number to which I was able to speak with someone regarding my issue! Mitchell (Manager) actually hung up in our face b/c he said we weren't allowing him to speak. Well Mitchell if you had your kid to almost drown wouldn't you be upset!!!! Luckily you're dealing with mom and grandma because if you had to deal with Dad it wouldn't be so mild! There's NO EXCUSE PERIOD! NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!

They have mini golfing where you can rent equipment inside the facility. They have a great playground area and outdoor fitness equipment. Inside the facility, they have a free pool and gym area. They offer a variety of classes such as yoga, water aerobics, etc. Make sure to check out their website or pick up their schedule at the facility for hours of operation. For first timers, you will have to fill out a form and don't forget to bring a large sized towel for workouts! There's a really great large dog park next door but there's no entrance to the dog park from Mary Jo Peckham. You would have to park at the Katy Library to enter the dog park.
