The second this older gentleman showed up he was nasty from the gate. He had a second plumber with him, a younger gentleman that was very nice. This guy insulted me about stuff and not related to what I had him therefore, from the second he walked in. And then he didn't know how to fix the problem, so came at me about it and was so ridiculously mean. I decided my head that this is not the person that's gonna be able to fix this issue so let me just give him money for his time and let him be. But then he wanted to charge me $185 for being in my house for 20 minutes. I couldn't believe it, and when I questioned his price, he just literally started walking away making me feel that he knew it was ridiculous. After he left, I called another service that came out and fixed my problem in 20 minutes for the same price. He was trying to charge me to do nothing. i'm not saying this is a bad plumbing company, but I would never wanna deal with this older gentleman ever. He never told me his name so I couldn't even tell you what it was, but he was such a nasty, miserable old man, and I had a really horrific experience grateful that my plumbing is fixed by another company at this present moment, but I could not believe how unprofessional, disrespectful, nasty, and mean this man was when I was just trying to give him my business

We were on a cruise ship somewhere in the Caribbean Sea when our pet sitter informed us that our heater was not working. Through coordination with our pet sitter, emails and calls, Eddie B Plumbing handled the problem immediately, ordered the required part and brought back heat in our house. This was a challenging coordination due to our location, our alarm system, and our Pet Sitter's schedule. Don't worry, our pets were fine as they were in a room with baseboard heating. This is an outstanding company, and we are customers for life!

    Purchased the home warranty. Every time they come to my home for a checkup they find something…read morewrong. Then when I call to speak to someone the answering service leaves a message, sends an email but no call back or email. Supposed to come to service furnace today but no call no show. When I called the answering service I was told the part didnt even come in yet.. wish I would have gone with Horizon​.. Update..2-23-26...today Keven called me who, according to him has no experince in this field. Supposedly he was a coach prior to getting the job at Fantes. As the conversation was becoming heated. He said to me, "dont have this conversation go this way" he then proceeded to say "you sound angry". I replied, i am not angry but I am upset over the fact that I have left a message for approximately 2 weeks and no one has called me back. Then he yelled " I just got the message on the 17th and I called you back" I replied, so who is getting angry now". So as I was still talking and he was trying to speak over me. My air conditioner died, Fantes came out and looked at the HVAC and Hot water heater as well. It was the original HVAC system. Fantes representative said by upgrading the HVAC unit I would save 20-30 in gas bills. Quite the opposite happened. My usage, not amount of the bill, but my usage has gone up almost every month sometimes by 40-50%. No one could figure out why! I felt lied to, made promises of saving me money etc. and got ripped off beyond believe.

    Yes, this is a long review, but for good reason. Please take the time to read it, if you are…read morelooking for an excellent HVAC company. Before I start, please know it's rare for me to write a review for a company, but every once in a great while, I come across a company who truly deserves a positive review. Jonathan's Heating & Air Conditioning Company is one of those rare companies that truly deserves a great review. On May 1, 2024, I had a company (not Jonathan's, as I hadn't heard of them yet), install a brand new HVAC unit in my home. In mid-June of this year, 2025, my just over 1 year old HVAC unit was only putting out "fan air", not "air conditioned" air. (Of course, the warranty expired exactly 1 year after installation). I put in a claim with my home warranty company. After several days of them not being able to find a company to come to my home to repair the unit, they finally gave me the option to find my own licensed technician to come out and diagnose the problem. I called the original installer, figuring he could easily diagnose and repair the problem, but he said he was booked out for the next 5 weeks!! So, I called many large and small companies that advertised that they can install and/or repair HVAC units. The earliest any of them could come out was about 10 days. Not only that, but most of them said they would not help me answer the questions required by the home warranty company about the HVAC unit's issues, so that I could (hopefully) be approved for the repairs & get reimbursed later. After many, many calls, I came across Jonathan's Heating & Air Conditioning Company. Not only were they the least expensive price I was quoted by any of the other companies I called, to come out & diagnose the problem, but they were willing to help me submit the needed answers to the questions required by my home warranty company, so we could proceed with the repairs once the problem was identified. When I spoke with Alix, in the office, she heard the desperation in my voice. She said they would send out one of their techs the very same day!! Their tech, Joe, did indeed come to my home that same day as promised. He diagnosed the problem. He took pictures and a video & he sat with me while I answered all of the home warranty company's questions and submitted the pictures, (they do not accept videos), on their portal. The home warranty company called Joe, while he was still at my house & said they wanted more pictures. Joe took more pictures and I submitted them. His patience level was nothing short of exceptional while we waited for the warranty company's decision. They did not make a decision that day. In fact, the home warranty company took days to make a decision. Alix, in the office, was kind and compassionate. She knew my cat & I were suffering on the 100 degree days we were having in NJ. Joe, their technician, was just as kind and compassionate as Alix. During the waiting period (because of the home warranty company's delay in reaching a decision), Alix and Joe continued to have good communication with me to see if there was anything else needed by the warranty company. On two occasions, I spoke to the owner, Jonathan. He explained in more detail, but in layman's terms that I could understand, exactly what the problem was for my own knowledge and in case the warranty company asked me any additional questions. The whole experience with Jonathan's Heating & Air Conditioning was exceptional. The pricing, the quality of workmanship, the communication, the willingness to answer questions I had & the willingness to help me answer the home warranty's questions, etc., by far exceeded my expectations. I would, without reservation, recommend them to my family and friends (and anyone else reading this review), should any of you have any HVAC issues.
