Easy to work with, quick install, cleaned up, and was reasonably priced. 10/10 would totally recommend.

New year, new flooring! We bought beautiful new tile from Cost Less Carpet on Fowler, and it makes…read moremy heart happy when I see it every time I come home. The tile is strong as heavy objects have already been dropped on it without breaking. It's a very pretty tile imported from Spain. Many have thought it was wood based on looks and think it's amazing. Kim at Cost Less has many years of experience working with builders to match flooring designs, and she effortlessly helped me coordinate existing old tile with the new. I shopped all over Tri-Cities over several weeks, and nowhere had such great help with such competitive prices! We gave a budget and brought samples of our existing tile, and she did the rest. Kim rocks! A few years back, we had the same experience with a different gentleman there while buying the living room carpet. We always gain a ton of knowledge as well as great products from this company. Kyle, the owner, has amazing employees and a great stock of flooring options. Tile, LVP, carpet, laminate, wood, and even countertop options. If they don't have it, they'll get it. Walk in and ask for Kim or call ahead and schedule a time with her. My tile installer, Paul, was very meticulous, honest, and fair. I would hire him again without question. He installs tile, vinyl, laminate, hardwood, stone, and brick.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Gave my flooring contractor the run around for a week saying…read morethe flooring would be in the next day then the next then oh it's just delayed it's being delivered tomorrow. Meanwhile they literally had no idea where the product was, zero communication except lying on delivery dates. Own called me and took zero responsibility and never offered an apology never tried to correct the situation or their actions. Tried to blame me for the situation when they literally made phone calls in front of me unable to find the flooring. My contractor couldn't believe what was going on. Cancelled my order and went to Home flooring. Home flooring was amazing. Great customer service. They ordered the exact same flooring and even $200 cheaper than Luke's. I strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere if your considering Luke's Carpet. Absolutely unprofessional, they take zero responsibility, the owner has no customer service skills or tact with talking to people. Go check out Home flooring. They will take care of you and for. Better price.

He suggested we round the corners to help the area carpet lay flat. So glad we did. He also located a business friend who was coming our way and helped with the delivery. Paulino and crew have been amazing to work with. They have done two separate projects for me now…read more The first was refinishing all the hard wood in my home. They took it from an old orange color to a beautiful light wood. Not only was their work incredible but Paulino is an excellent communicator. He was always on time, and had extremely fair pricing. The second project was a bath house floor. I needed it done ASAP. I texted him on a Tuesday and he came out the following night after a job and finished it for me. Can't say enough good things about him and his crew. Do not hesitate to use for any future project you may have.

His bid was **$1,000 higher than two other contractors we interviewed. We chose him anyway. That was our mistake. He Demanded Extra Money Before Doing Any Real Work We agreed on a $2,000 deposit. Two days later, after only **six hours of work**, he demanded another $2,000, citing an employee's family illness. Two days after that, he asked for $800 more to fly that employee home. I gave him $500 in cash I had to withdraw from an ATM. No contractor should be asking a client for emergency cash advances after two days of barely any work. Two Weeks of No-Shows, Delays, and Excuses There was never a schedule. Day 1: four hours, only put up plastic. Day 2: rented sander broke at 11:30 AM, didn't return until the next day. Day 3: a worker left at 11:00 AM to go to the post office less than a mile away and never came back. Day 5: showed up at 3:00 PM when he was supposed to be there at noon. The Work Was Rushed and Defective The floors had white areas, a footprint left by his crew, machine marks, and rough patches. He claimed he fixed them. He also installed two short transition boards instead of one custom board. It cracked the first time it was stepped on and now has to be completely redone. They Washed My Freshly Varnished Floors He sent a cleaner who washed my floors with water less than 24 hours after the varnish was applied. Oil-based varnish needs 24-48 hours to dry and 7-30 days to cure. This can permanently ruin the finish. I asked what product she used. He never told me. They Left My Home Unlocked Multiple times. I texted him repeatedly to stop. He didn't. He Charged $1,200 for Moving Furniture He Didn't Move His crew moved only the couches, bed, and TV. My family moved everything else. The Final Day He was supposed to arrive at 12:15 PM to finish. He texted at 12:30 saying 1:15. I texted every hour. At 5:00 PM, two workers finally showed up, installed the transition, and moved a few pieces of furniture. No trim painted. Nothing put back. Mess left. I texted him. He said 6:15. At 6:30, no response. That's when I fired him. Bottom Line I paid $7,000 for incomplete work, a cracked transition board, and floors that may be permanently damaged. I now have to pay someone else to fix his mess. Save yourself the headache and hire someone else.
