My hair is very fine so mistakes are hard to hide but I wanted to clean it up, remove all of the dead ends and try to give it some body. She cut it in a way that left a slight invert in the back and textured the ends enough that it feels like a whole new head of hair! No cuticle cleaning or buffing. I asked for a French tip. I'm trying out different nail salons to see where to get my wedding nails done and this is not the place. Hero was pleasant and the chat was fine but not even 24 hours later the layers had begun to peel off my nails and in whole pieces. I paid $40 with tip for a $35 manicure that didn't last a whole day. I called to leave a message about a refund because I was so shocked that they came off. Learned today that they would not offer a refund and the only option was I could get them redone and they would try a different technique. I asked why it didn't stay the first time and they said either the tip was applied to thick or I must have done something to cause them to peel. They peeled after I showered. I don't know how simple water could have led to that. I said that was really not helpful and later asked if it would be with Hero again or can some other tech do it, they said it could be another tech but they're booked through August. Shelley does great hair and I love coming here when my hair needs work, but I won't return to get my nails done. I just want my money back for this lousy manicure
