To the chagrin of every stylist, I ended up teaching myself how to cut my kids' hair (and my husbands). We took our then 3 year old twins to this place about 3 or 4 times. I got tired of substandard cuts for the price. There was always a stray piece, especially in my naturally curly haired sons hair, BIG TIME. Like they cut it blind. Yes, I get these are kids. But if I could do a better job for free why would I pay them to do a worse job? On top of that, the stylists have this defensive attitude, maybe because they get a lot of controlling parents in there. But they were fake, never nice to me or my husband. It seemed they were just sick of parents and KNEW far more than us. I hardly ever stepped in and it was like I stepped into the lions den when I did mention something. They forget who the customer is. Also, my kids are well behaved, even for twin 5 year old boys. They hardly wiggle, so there's no reason for the haircuts to be cheap looking. I also learned to cut my husbands hair because when we lived on a military base, any other prior service members will tell you, they do great haircuts in a short time and pay $6. I'm talking 10 minutes or less. And it looks salon quality. My husband was irked that the last hairstylist he saw was like 'so I'm teaching myself how to do a fade without scissors.' Wow, catch up girl. And of course it took close to an hour. I was tired of paying $25-30 for those haircuts and waiting 45 minutes each time. I'm not trying to do anything fancy, but I am so glad I taught myself how to a do a basic trim. I have saved close to $1000 already. There is no reason a customer should have to feel like a burden and get substandard service on top of that. I hope they've changed their attitude for the customers sake. My kids hair looks far better and I'm saving money and don't have to deal with attitude. Win, win, win. read more
