I called four framing shops but none would touch a repair. It was a very large piece and I didn't want to spend $1-2K on a redo. Artistic Picture Framing agreed. Rodolfo truly is a joy to work with and is so knowledgable about his craft. Couldn't have pictured (love a good pun) working with anyone else for the first framed piece in our son's nursery. While at a community holiday fare, we bought a super cool piece of art from a local vendor of a map of El Cerrito which includes my husband's work site. It's playful, colorful, and full of joy. After utilizing the Yelp app to find a framing company close by, we found Artistic Picture Framing. After meeting the crew in-person, we knew we were in the right hands. We worked with Rodolfo on choosing the right colors for the piece and chatted about becoming parents, the nursery we were building, and the magic we were hoping to encompass and build around from this staple piece. He captured truly what we were looking for at an affordable rate. Looking forward to utilizing this service for future art, so happy with the outcome!

I am so glad I did. J.P. and Dylan do such beautiful work and treat artists and artwork with courtesy and respect. For my needs, I ended up with small files for web use, medium for small format printing, and large files for full-color archival pigment printing. In the second, much larger batch. I discovered a problem - the image had a grey background. I emailed JP with this info. He said to hold off and not pick up the work. He figured out the problem very quickly and fixed it. He also took the time to explain exactly what had happened. The final images were flawless. When I came to pick them up, each piece was in an archival sleeve, carefully taped down by size and sandwiched in cardboard. This made it so much easier to get a selection to the framer for my first solo show. As I begin to encounter collectors, I'm prepared with images for my website as well as print files for people who want work but can't afford an original. I can imagine how awful this process would be if I had used a less professional team. Thank you, J.P. and Dylan!

Instead of a polite correction or guidance, the owner abruptly stormed out from the back and shouted "WHOA WHOA WHOA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"--startling both of us. My wife apologized immediately and tried to explain we weren't aware there was a specific process, but that didn't stop him from continuing to raise his voice and snatching the poster from her hands. He then gave us an unnecessarily condescending lecture about how "it's really just common sense." Even after my wife apologized again and said she would remember for next time, he kept going. His tone was rude, patronizing, and completely disproportionate to the situation. We decided to leave without buying anything because we simply didn't want to be treated that way. To the owner: if you don't want customers touching merchandise, that's completely understandable--but then clearly post signs asking people not to handle items without assistance. Don't assume people know your process, and definitely don't talk down to them when they make a simple mistake. Your behavior was unprofessional, and it ruined what should have been a simple, pleasant shopping experience. We won't be returning, and we sincerely hope others are treated with more basic courtesy and respect than we were.

Mark and his crew completed a very extensive high end remodel of our 1894 Victorian house in San Francisco. The project was well managed, the team kept us very involved throughout the process, and we had no surprises. The project scope included steel structural and foundation work, extensive framing work, complete kitchen and bath remodel, hardwood floor installation, level 5 wall and ceiling re-plastering, as well as a complete re-do of our front entryway. Every detail was completed with meticulous care, from the perfection of the framing down to the tiniest detail on finished carpentry. Whenever guests see the house for the first time they are amazed at the quality of the work. We have been living in the finished space for over a year and are still amazed every time we step back and take it all in. We can not recommend Farallon highly enough. Happy to provide more detailed references to anyone interested.

He has offered help and payment having minor floor and painting done in our home that resulted from the work next door. His company had work done without any negotiation as to price. We could not expect a more honorable relationship. I wanted to add this comment as a prologue to my husband's comment three months ago to assure any interested party that the promise has been fulfilled.

Mark and Rod with Pristine pools came out to discuss the situation and after research we determined that our lining was 25 years old. Way past what is expected. Pristine measured the pool and gave us a quote. They walked us through the steps and costs including letting us know what might be extras. Since this was in December we thought we might be stuck with an ugly pool until the rains stopped in April. Pristine took advantage of the lack of rain in early January. Drained the pool, added a new lining and skimmer and had it ready within a week. And it looks great. No leaks and came in as budgeted. Highly recommend

It's hard to believe the Doughboy pool he installed lasted us that long! But it did. Truly impressive. We were pretty satisfied customers. We looked up Pristine Pool in Forestville and were thrilled that Rod and his son Mark were still in business. We called and discussed the project, and Rod came over and took some measurements. In no time at all, Rod had a backhoe and crew over to clear the site of fire debris and prepare the area for a bigger, deeper, and way more funner pool than we had before. Four potable water truck deliveries later, the pool was finally filled, and my three dogs were again happy campers. Well, we were too. It took eight weeks from start to finish. Rod coordinated everything needed -- site excavation, surface preparation, pool wall and liner installation, pool filtration, startup, and chemicals. Everything worked out as expected. Our only delay was waiting three weeks for Doughboy to manufacture the 28x16' oval pool liner: a tricky one requiring a significant 7' deep end. But it was worth the wait. Our dogs and visiting company have enjoyed the pool since Pristing Pool installed it. And we have had absolutely no issues with anything at all. Interestingly, Pristine Pool and Spa do more than just install pools; they also repair them. Early one spring morning in 2022, a large mature Doe and her newborn Fawn decided to go swimming in the pool. The Doe managed to get herself out, but not before poking a few invisible holes somewhere in the liner, causing a slow leak in need of repair. We called Pristine Pool for advice, and Ron advised that his son, Mark, provided leak detection and repair services. How lucky was that? Mark arrived a few days later. It was April, and the pool water bore winter's comforting chill still. Nonetheless, Mark donned a wetsuit and some diving gear, jumped in, and within 15 minutes, managed to find a collection of virtually invisible holes in the floor and sides of the pool liner, which he patched and immediately stopped the pool from losing water further. Cost? Less than a fancy dinner for two up. We were stoked! The company and its owners, Rod and Mark, have proved and continue to remain trustworthy, skilled, and high-quality craftsmen who take pride in their work and that of their employees and care genuinely for their customers. Thank you for your many years of devotion to your craft and dedication to service. We were lucky to find Pristine Pools 34 years ago. And we were so fortunate to find you again in 2018, alive and still kicking business! Friends have asked us for referrals. You and Pristine Pool and Spa in Forestville are the only ones on our list. Best wishes for many years of continued success. E&J
