I should start by saying that I did plenty of research upfront, so I knew exactly what I wanted to purchase and the price range. My salesman Colt Jensen worked closely with me to go through the test drive, vehicle review, etc. Very friendly and efficient. Once we worked through the pricing I needed to meet with the finance manager, Miguel Tinoco. Again, great experience. All paperwork reviewed and signed quickly and efficiently. I had a great experience buying a new car today at Findlay Hyundai Prescott. It was efficient and painless! Remember when you spent hours grinding on price? It seemed like you were there for hours while made you sweat. Yesterday was completely unlike that. Salesman Tony Meckarowski and I came to financial terms very quickly, and what a deal! I went through credit check and then the once-dreaded finance department very quickly. From past experience, I remember signing hundreds of pages; now they have this very slick tablet based Docusign-like system. It took 20 minutes to finish with Finance. And I love my new Tucson. I recommend taking your Hyundai elsewhere. Took my vehicle to the new location for service and they inspected it for 4 hours. They claimed they couldn't find any issue with the air conditioning not working properly. Only suggested it could be the air filter and offered to replace it for $99. No thanks I can do it myself (rip off) I changed it and the problem was not solved. I call back to explain the situation more and the mechanic claimed he ran the proper tests on it. Spoiler alert another dealership found the problem. Prescott Hyundai stated because it's a hybrid vehicle it shouldn't get air conditioning below 40mph and that it was normal to have warm air leading up to acceleration. He stated this over the phone. I've had this vehicle for almost 3 years. Theres always been air conditioning. He must not be aware about Hyundai's Blue Link feature where you can start the vehicle from your phone to turn on the heater/air conditioner so you have a more comfortable experience while driving. (The car is in park mode during that time 0mph) The air conditioner should still turn on! Hope this helps. I decided to get a second opinion. Drove all the way to Cottonwood Hyundai. Not only did they find the problem within an hour (the compressor) they stated this is a common issue and it's strange the service department in Prescott is unaware. (a quick Google search would tell you how common it is) Cottonwood Hyundai ordered the part, had it expedite shipped, and offered to schedule the service in 48 hours under warranty. They wanted my vehicle fixed immediately due to the upcoming holiday weekend so I wouldn't be without air conditioning. Excellent service. I don't normally post reviews, but this one was worth noting. i'm not a complainer and consider myself a pretty low-key casual person. I went by the dealership last Sunday and they were closed? A car dealership closed on the weekend? I went back in yesterday, because I really thought I had picked the vehicle I wanted. I was prepared to make a purchase that day. I walked into the showroom, and nobody noticed me. Several people mulling around, but not one approach, or even nod from anyone. I got in the car that I wanted on the showroom floor, and again nobody approached me. Probably in there for five minutes. Then I decided to walk out on the lot and look at the actual car I might buy. out there for 15 minutes, Still nobody. Then, I went back into the showroom and stood around for a few minutes. Again, looking at the car. Still nobody. It's like I was invisible. finally, I went to the receptionist desk, to ask if I could test drive. She inquisitively looked at me, and then after closing out her computer screen, she went to two young 20 something's who were surfing the web in their offices, and the first one actually said he was too busy and get the second one. The second one took some time to close out his computer, and then came out and introduced himself. he also let me know that He hadn't been working there long and knew nothing about the cars yet.? Are you kidding me? The manager that put this kid on the floor should retire or go into a different line of work. No employer training? No knowledge of product? Am I supposed to drop $50,000 just because they are there? I like to support my community, but this was ridiculous. I did take a test drive, in the actual car, I was looking to buy, but had to keep it short because it had no gas in it, while listening to the young man telling me some of his life story. A sad story at that. What a pick me up? The management in this dealership should be trained or replaced. you lost me as a customer, sorry. Unfortunately, I have to drive out of town to get the car I want. or maybe I'll try a different manufacturer and get a different car? Sad. read more

I have been looking for a Tucson hybrid for over a year and a half waiting my time to pick my spot I came across Zack , my sales advisor who went out of his way to help me organize my down payment he ran numbers in his head so that I understood the consequences of my actions to , he went to Ben the general manager of the dealership and explain to him how I was obtaining my down payment by selling stock and incurring capital gains at that point then made a decision to offer me manufacturer's cash so that I would it would help lessen the blow of the capital gains taxes I would have to pay helping me get into the comfort zone so that I could sign the contract , then also was able to allow me various options on the vehicle that were added on to close the deal Zach and others told me I got a great deal I got the best deal they were aware of I feel with my trade in I got a fair and Equitable deal they gave me the car I asked for they took my trade in and gave me a fair price not a great price for the trade in it was a fair and Equitable deal and they went the extra mile to put me in the comfort zone so that I was willing to sign the contract on a 43,000 car read more

If you're in the market for a new car, you might want to stay away from Hyundai. It sounds impressive that they have a 100,000 mile warranty but because of this, the service department is running over a month behind and some parts are backordered for over three months. My 2022 Santa Cruz, with only 18,000 miles on it, has a transmission problem. Made an appointment, two week wait, and then was another two weeks before they even looked at it. Even worse they didn't fix the problem. I was told that the technician had to call Hyundai, for guidance on how to proceed. Now a week later and the technician hasn't even called yet. I'm at five weeks, now, and there's not a resolution in sight. read more

I had an opportunity to visit with the service manager and resolve some of my frustration with not getting the service expected. He resolved to improve his operation. He was understanding of my frustration with getting my vehicle serviced. I will certainly give them another chance to improve in the future. My vehicle was serviced to my satisfaction! We purchased a new Hyundai Tucson from Findlay Hyundai of Prescott in March. 2 months later, we were informed by friends that the dealership had closed. We received a letter from Findlay advising us the we could drive to Cottonwood (over 2 hours round trip) for service. Findlay still has a Subaru dealership at the Prescott location but they won't honor the 3 free oil changes we were promised. I have been repeatedly disappointed with the service for my Hyandai Santa Fe. The Findlay Prescott dealership does not have enough mechanics and on my most recent repair request I had to wait more than a week for an appointment - and this was to make the same repair they made just a few months ago. It seems like each time I take my car in I'm told they have to order a part that will not be in until the next day and "oops, no loner cars are available". Most of the people working in the service department are rude and have not had any customer service training. I will not by a Hyandai product again and as soon as my warranty is up I will be taking my car elsewhere for service. read more

A couple months ago, I realized it was time to replace my old Hyundai. I decided to shop around online since I live quite a bit of ways out of town and I found a few options, but I needed some help and guidance. I'm SO glad I called and spoke with Tony. He was a God SEND! He accommodated my weird schedule, and when I got there, he had them pulled up and ready to go with a cup of coffee. (I mentioned I drink coffee at night in our initial conversation! How thoughtful!! We test drove a couple, and I ended up going with a Sonata! First time dealing with Hyundai Service Department since Findley took over Tim's. Not a good experience at all. Left a message for a call back 2 hours ago have not received one. Called back and the general cashier for the dealer ship wanted to give me service advise instead of connecting me with a service tech and/or service manager. 17 minutes in to the second call I expressed my displeasure with the lack of service and follow thru. After the second call I was left with the perception the dealership either does not need my business or want it! Well I will be in the market for a new car in the near future......I will not be shopping at Findley's. read more
