What The Meadows loses in convenience (it's definitely a drive-a-round shopping center rather than…read morewalk-a-round) it makes up in the quality of its shops. For me, the feather in its cap is the Rodizio Grill, a definite step-up from the other Brazilian carve-of-the-skewer, all-you-can eat restaurants (Tucanos and Braza, I'm talking to you). It's a great "dinner and a movie" shopping center with a Cinemark megaplex right next door to the Rodizio, as well as a Pier 49 Pizza and Firehouse Subs close by. The Meadows is also a good place for the department store lover: Target, Kohls, Gordman's, Michaels, Ulta, HomeGoods, Walmart; Bed, Bath, and Beyond; Best Buy, and Ross. You'll also find an epic "Spirit Halloween" store there in the fall. It's got room to grow. The Applebee's that went under makes me think the locals expect quality ... I'm hoping to se more like Rodizio in the future! They could take a page from a very similar outdoor-type shopping center in Taylorsville and put up a lot more signage to make driving around easier. Still, a nice shopping center that I hope grows and grows!

We had so much fun walking around and letting our kids pick out their own crystals. One of the workers answered all of my toddler's "what's that?" Questions and walked around the store with them showing them all of the cool things in the store. The best part was how excited the worker was about everything and showing that it really was something he seemed passionate about, which made it even more interesting. If you get a text receipt, it has pictures of the type of items you purchased which was really cool if you have a bad memory and buy a bunch of stones. This company and its owner has refused to refund the cleaning deposit we gave her ... she accused us of "leaving the facility in disarray and dirty". We assured the space was left much better than when we arrived. I tried to call in order to have a reasonable discussion about this but my family has been blocked from her communications. This is about professional accountability. We are officially asking the owner to issue a valid check to my sister for her cleaning deposit... this is not harassment. In the spirit of integrity, Pay back the deposit we deserve. Thank you.

I stopped by this cute little clothing shop boutique on my way home today. They have a cute…read moreselection of clothes and seem to have one size of each size, so it's def a boutique kind of feel. I do love to shop local and support local businesses and was happy to see this place on our very own Main St! Upon first arriving, I was greeted warmly by a gal by the register. I think what was lacking (upon first impression) is background music! It was super quiet in there, which is totally ok, but I would've been in a more festive shopping mood if there was some kind of music playing in the background. Christmas music would've been great, having come here for the first time in the first week of December. Some clothing pieces had no tag/price on it, so I had to ask the gal what price it was. She looked at it and looked up the price and told me. All the same pieces had no price. Another piece of clothing had a green dot on the tag and asked what the green dot was for, and it was from the Black Friday sale that finished last week - and the gal mentioned it needed to be taken off. I saw a yellow/mustard cardigan with stars towards the bottom, but also noticed a huge hole on the left bottom of the cardigan. Growing pains for a new business opening up, and it has good potential for sure!

During the call, she clearly explained the situation and specifically asked whether she could return the items in person rather than mailing them. She was told that an in-person return was possible. So she returned them in even received an online return receipt. Based on that information, we reasonably believed the matter had been resolved. We later learned that returns for TikTok Shop purchases could not be processed in person. As a result, we are now out the money and feel that we were given inaccurate information. This situation could have been avoided if the return policy had been explained correctly from the beginning. If in-person returns are not available for TikTok Shop purchases, customers should be told that clearly and consistently. The incorrect information wasted our time, caused unnecessary frustration, and resulted in a financial loss. We urge the company to ensure that its staff are properly informed about the return process and that customers receive accurate guidance before making decisions about their purchases. Update: Customer service made it right and helped us get our refund.
