I have purchased all my books here since discovering this place. Owner Aaron is a fascinating person to converse with as he knows his titles and most others inside and out. Need a new sci-fi author to follow? Here are a few. Looking to dazzle a dinner with a new cookbook? He's got a million and can tell you which books really pull it off. NOTE: Aaron can order just about any book you want if it's not on the shelves already. Shop local and bring your business to The Printed Garden. Having a solid relationship with an independent bookseller is worth its weight in gold these days.

Everything was priced well too and their service was amazing. What I didn't like was how unorganized the store was. The books were loosely grouped by genre, but that's it. Nothing was in order - everything was just scattered randomly and it made it really tiresome to find something specific. They also didn't have an inventory system to check if they have a specific book. These are REALLY important things to have in a bookstore, but they failed there. The selection was also pretty poor and random. They had some of the big, trending books, but everything else was random or obscure. Overall, I'd recommend going to another used bookstore. This just can't compete with other bookstores in the area and is very lackluster. It's a rural bookstore in a large city.

All types, and then others too, will likely love The Conjuring Tree. There are so many interesting trinkets, accessories, tools and gadgets that I enjoyed browsing. Many that were familiar to me, but some new items as well. The lovely staff member, Sage, was kind enough to give us a little run-down on the store, how long they've been around and some of the events that they hold. There are plans for a more formal tea gathering space in the back which will allow for even more amazing events. I love the vibe here and the friendliness that was extended. Even if I'm not sure what to do with all the cool things they sell, I'd feel very comfortable asking about the items and know that I'd be met with a welcoming, patient explanation.

We were simply looking for crystals or potions to bring comfort for our mom as she goes through the dying process. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such kindness and warmth. One of the owners, Andy, came over to help us and I can honestly say he was a true blessing. He wasn't just knowledgeable about the items in the store, he radiated compassion and calm. He listened to us with such patience, offered thoughtful guidance, and shared insight that immediately put our worries at ease. In a moment of heaviness for our family, he gave us peace, reassurance, and even a sense of lightness about this stage of life. This shop is so much more than a place to buy things... it's a sanctuary. We walked out not only with meaningful items for our mom, but also with hearts that felt lifted and comforted. What an incredible gift Andy and this shop have been to us. I am so deeply grateful we found The Conjuring Tree. Highly recommend to anyone seeking not only beautiful metaphysical tools, but also a safe and healing space filled with love.

Everything is so urgent, or so important, or so technological, or so modern. So if you've fallen out of touch with your whimsical side, perhaps it's time to stop in here. A dyed in the wool bookstore it is not. There are much more than books in this nook. Fanciful things, clothing items, toys, games, and things that will have your kids eyeballs lighting up and you watching their hands very closely. But there are storybooks that you can peruse. In a world of in-the-car DVD players and elementary school kids with cell phones it's nice to know someone is still selling the printed word. Totally exempt from technology it is not, but maybe a hair simpler than a big-box kids store. Selection isn't fantastic, but again, it's more about the experience that rifling through the shelves going after a specific title. Cruise in a few minutes and see what tickles your fancy. Buy a book and read it to your kids--or have them read it to you. Remember when that was enough?

I adore this store and feel like it's a must have for a different demographic at Gardner Village.
