Find is a small thrift store with a healthy selection of used, modern clothing. The brands are low-to-mid-end, and the pricing is fair. The clothes range from gently used to heavily worn. Similar to Buffalo Exchange, yet local to Portland. Out of their collection, I find that their shoes, jackets, and denim specifically are the highest quality. However, the majority of the clothes simply aren't my style and seem pretty worn out. Regardless, if you're into sustainable fashion, are seeking newer brands, and want to interact with friendly staff, this is a good place to look. read more

I even sent the store an email in regards to my belongings on March 28 2023 @10:49 pm. This is my new favorite store in Portland. I have been to the store three or four times in the last year. Upon entering, The colors, styles, the smells of yesteryear overcome me with memories of fun exciting times. I seem to find something immediately calling my name. Usually a sweater for me, I love my sweaters! My time spent in the store might be an hour total, but I have the most amazing shopping experience every time! The atmosphere and the music is always enjoyable and upbeat! The staff is professional and nice. The store is kept up and always tidy. There are dressing rooms for you to try on a rack of clothes or that next favorite pair of jeans! If you are looking for costume jewelry or that hand bag for your favorite sister, you should have no problem finding what you are looking for here. I am sure if you are looking for your next comfy sweater, your favorite dress or just looking for something different than what is out there you need to give Find a visit. YEEEUPPP. So glad I found this place when I was on my Anniversary trip in Portland. Cute little consignment shop that is very well organized. No huge double stacked racks of clothes to search through like a treasure hunt in your grandparents attic. This place has a men's and women's sections and the set up is organized and thoughtful. visited portland and found the most amazing pieces, everything was priced surprisingly well considering this is a consignment store. i got a gorgeous leather jacket for $70 PERFECT condition, and jeans for $15 and found lovely knit tops for $15 as well. staff was also very pleasant :) read more

LOVE this place! Portland is jam-packed with adorable shops, and Find fits right in. I could have spent a lot longer sifting through the racks of true vintage and vintage-inspired clothes, shoes and accessories (but the boys had no interest and kinda pulled me out of there quickly). The men's section is surprisingly large, too, for a cute little shop! And the prices were really awesome, especially compared to what I'm used to in DC. Find was really nice, the had a bunch of cool unique article as well as some basics that you always need. It wasn't cheap, but still pretty affordable. Every single item in the store is a find! The owner does all the work for you to gather a special collection, spanning from unique and quirky to pretty and classic, all in one place. All you have to do is flip through the racks of well-organized and neatly-arranged tops and bottoms until you pick out something perfect for you. The prices make sense: Everything is inexpensive, but the more exclusive designer stuff costs more than no-name brands. My boyfriend's find? A soft cotton button down that, within a week, has already become a staple in his wardrobe. My find? An silk, ruffly Marc Jacobs skirt for $40. This was one of the pricier things I saw; most items cost around $20. It all adds up to one thing: I'm so glad we found Find. read more

I have occasionally found some good and decently-priced items here... however, after 2+ years of casual patronage, I find it to be overpriced and have a snooty vibe overall. If you bring clothing to sell/trade, don't get your hopes up... I brought about 5 never worn items, all bought within the past year (key brand overalls, nastygal lace dress, high waisted purple jeans) I was told after waiting a full hour that "nothing was usable". Being a polite person, I gave the girl working a questioning look and said nothing more than "okay well thank you" and she interjected to tell me only the overalls I brought were worthwhile but had a small rip. I chose not to bring up that, in fact, the dress I was currently wearing was one I purchased from them a month ago with a small rip. Aside from the lack of any real trade-in guidelines for clothing (from my personal experience and hearsay, I think it's just up to whoever's working.) and the general gross hipster vibe and prices... it's sometimes worth a stop. One of the best second-hand stores I've found! Great quality clothes in terms of how used they are and the quality of the brands. I got a Gap coat in great condition for only $15.00! Lots of clothes that were a little too hipster for me but not so overwhelming that you feel like you're going through lots of junk to find one small treasure. read more

Find is a top notch consignment store in Portland. I think thrift shops and second hand stores can sometimes be either too overwhelming, with so many clothes that you really have to work to find a gem, or so selective and hip that there are 6 shirts in the entire store that are always a bit too eclectic. Find is great because it exists in a happy middle ground of these two extremes. There is a quality selection that's not too much yet still offers variety, and the prices are very reasonable. It's also worth mentioning that they have equal parts mens and womens clothing so dudes should definitely check it out for some great old school flannels and what not. Find also has some funky jewelry that isn't necessarily second hand but awesome nonetheless. Unfortunately my most recent experience at Find was dampened a bit by the store attendant. She seemed more bitter than happy to help me with the fitting room and did not exude the most welcoming of energies. Yet that certainly does not take away from the great clothes Find has to offer. At least in the mens section there is far too much modern Aeropostale type stuff and not too much vintage. I hope they begin to get more quality merchandise, their shoe section is pretty good though, cheap timberlands and such. read more

I love this store! I moved to Portland recently, but always find great items here. Great brands at great prices. Friendly and kind customer service paired with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. My sister and I love thrift stores and supporting sustainable fashion, so of course I was excited to take her here while she was visiting from New Hampshire. We were both able to find some amazing pieces and she even found a prom dress! The only reason I can't leave 5 stars- I got home and found that one of the shirts I bought today has a four inch hole in the material. It's a bright patterned shirt so I didn't notice it before, but I was very disappointed it wasn't caught in store. Unfortunately there is a final sale policy, which I understand, but still leaves me in a frustrating dilemma. I still highly recommend the store, but be careful with what you choose! read more

So I'll start by saying that this store has on occasion had some stellar, unique, and fairly priced consignment and vintage items. I always enjoy stopping in and taking a look around but have been really disappointed with the rude attitudes of the staff members. They act as if every question is an inconvenience and give off an unpleasant and judgemental vibe whether you are dropping things off or shopping around. As someone who works in fashion retail, their flat tone and delivery is unacceptable and unpleasant to be around. Between the few treasures that crop up from time to time, the racks seem to be filled with forever21 priced not far off from what you'd find at the store, damaged items, and lifeless, graying low end brands. All in all, get your act together and be nice to your customers while explaining store policy. read more

This place puts the buying to the discretion of who is working and I happened to get a grumpy guy that clearly doesn't care for much other than grunge. I brought a white denim Marc Jacobs dress (never worn) as well as Cynthia Rowley and Banana Republic sweaters. I also brought Nine West mint condition black flats, Aldo coral pumps, Calvin Klein platforms, and a few belts and handbags. He said none of the items were acceptable. I asked if they bought seasonally and he skirted around the question so I still don't know. When I asked him what sorts of things specifically they buy he not so politely told me I could look around the store to see. Wow. That's super helpful. He also told me they don't buy handbags even though I was standing next to a rack of ones that even Goodwill would shudder at. I would never bring anything back to this store! If you have plaid shirts and old Gap sweaters and an American flag T-shirt (there was one on display in their window...) then by all means bring your old garbage to Find. If you have actual designer pieces do not waste your time. Fashion is wasted on Portland and Find in particular. read more
