Made a quick stop here for the first time and my latte was awesome! Cute inside as well. I'm eager to try the food soon too.

This is like peak corn bread. It's soft but still slightly grainy, maybe even pillowing texture. The seeds on top not only make it look good but provide some crunchier texture which is kinda needed. The cold brew is nothing like anything I've had before, it isn't nearly as strong and pungent as a ton of other cold brews I've had, this really puts britolli in the dirt. The pupusa is crazy, not like monona bakery's thick dough but more like a mini quesadilla with great cheese, creamy and coagulated in with the beans, I'd love to try the meat options next time but I'm feeling thin today. The sauce is also a bit different than what I've had, more sweet than spicy but I'm not mad about it, still very good. The vegetables are great, not a slaw but still pungent and blends with every other flavor. Also the music here is A1 amazing jazz, perfect volume to hear the chattering and everything. This place really cleared my mind and I thank it and it's givers read more

We stopped in to try Finca today after hearing a lot of great buzz. Overall it was a really pleasant experience and I think there's a good chance we'll stop in again, even though this is completely the opposite side of town for us. We started with warm drinks in a cold day, and they didn't disappoint. The Americano was deeply flavorful and well roasted, the mocha well balanced and delicious, and even the hit chocolate rich and creamy. We were off to a really solid start. For food we ordered two pupusas, and a small pork burrito. We were warned it would take ~30 minutes for the food, so we grabbed a seat in the pleasant dining room and played a few hands of cards. When the pupusas came out they were golden brown and accompanied by a perfect blend of pickled veg and a tasty salsa. We dug into both the chicharone and bean and cheese varieties and found them both very tasty! Pupusas are pretty new for us and if this is indicative of the dish and El Salvadoran food more broadly WE NEED MORE! Unfortunately our burrito didn't arrive. Once we finished the pupusas I went to the open kitchen to ask if it was being made. Seems they'd misplaced the order, but we're happy to make it up right then. The pork burrito was tasty (they were out of the steak) but not especially remarkable. After we'd finished THAT, the lovely ladies in the kitchen made us some chicken tacos, gratis, to apologize for losing the burrito order. These were DELICIOUS, and actually even better than the burrito! Excellent work on the juicy, flavorful grilled chicken. Overall it was a tasty and enjoyable experience with a few minor glitches. Certainly worth a stop if you're in the area. read more

This place is a gem! I noticed it on my drive to work, and was intrigued by the combination of coffee and tacos. This coffee shop offers something very unique from anything else in Madison. The atmosphere is great! Clean, modern, but also South American decor. There's a beautiful mural on one of the walls and some gorgeous, cheerful tile throughout. There's a lot of seating for how small the space is, plenty of good options if you're looking to get work done, though I didn't see a ton of outlets. The coffee is amazing as well - my husband and I both got the cold brew. It was delicious and smooth, and the Kyoto style brewers they have to make it are really beautiful and unique. Our friend got a cappuccino, which was expertly crafted with perfect latte art. They have clearly trained their employees well to make great coffee. We also got lunch, and it was SO GOOD. I had two chicharron pupusas - they came with salsa and slaw, and they were amazing! My husband had a veggie Mexican quesadilla, which was huge and equally delicious - he said the salsa and chips it came with were amazing. Our friend got a bean and cheese pupusa and a chicken Mexican quesadilla and loved both of them as well. We all left satisfied, and loved the experience and atmosphere! Definitely worth driving over from anywhere in Madison (and there is plenty of parking, which is an added bonus). read more

Amazing product and value! Please eat here. JBC coffee done right with Batch baked goods. I had the black cofffee, it was well rounded and full bodied. As for the fooos, I had both the bean and pork Papuans. They were done beautifully and the slaw was perfect tart next to the richness of the filling. I like salt, so I added a little. I will be back! They serve wine and beer too! Excellent music and sound system. I will be back. read more

Finca coffee, although tucked underneath an apartment building, is anything but your typical coffee shop. With exceptional cuisine and great coffee, they really stand out from the rest and definitely deserve some recognition. My boyfriend and I got the veggie quesadilla (so many veggies!) and steak burrito, which came with house made chips. Both so good and I would highly recommend this place for someone looking for vegetarian and vegan options. Overall I would give this place 5 stars for the amazing food and delightful atmosphere. read more

A-okay. Cold brew might of been overhyped in my mind, I was expecting something amazing and it was pretty standard to me. Service was okay, restrooms were locked and located outside of the coffee shop. They have a fireplace, but I have yet to see the seating area in front of the fireplace open. Looks like people get in early, get a single coffee and camp at the prime spots. Go play modern warfare. read more

Best coffee in Madison, bought directly from El salvadore at above fair trade prices, all with great atmosphere and food options. Highly recommend the pupusas! The owner was working and we had a lovely chat about the beans--the man is a total pro and really cares about coffee! Love to see it. Will be back. read more

Fantastic place with friendly people. Their food is just amazing for the price and it's always busy here during lunch time. I highly recommend since every time I've came here their food is spot on and I am happy my girlfriend turned me on to this location. It is a bit out of the way but when I can get here I always love to stop by and grab a few Pupusas (unless they are out of a certain type I want, then I get sad :( Still worth coming here though for the tacos as well!) Come stop by here and get some of their coffee (I've never actually had any of it but my girlfriend seems to really love it since she's a huge coffee drinker) and order a cheese or meat Pupusa along with one of their delicious Taco's. read more

I ordered pickup ahead of time using StoreFront by DoorDash, the recommended site when searching Finca Coffee. I ordered an iced latte, a pupusa, and a breakfast burrito. Upon arrival, the latte was not made and the barista asked what drink I had ordered despite the rest of the order and the receipt being in front of her. I paid extra from oat milk and syrup, and it is unknown if I received these extras. Also, my latte was not iced as ordered. The breakfast burrito was advertised as a "delightful combination of eggs, cheese, and a variety of vegetables, all wrapped in a soft tortilla". Sounds delicious! Unfortunately, when I received it, it had meat in it, which was not listed. Sadly, I cannot eat meat. The barista took the burrito back and said a new one would be made, which was appreciated. After 20 minutes of waiting, she finally said that my burrito was being made- I thought my burrito WAS being made at this time. After another 10 minutes, I had my burrito. What is the point of ordering ahead at that point? I would have rather just received a refund for the 30 minutes lost. The pupusa was awesome, though. I think I will go ahead and just order pupusas next time. read more

Finca Coffee - Bean and cheese pupusa! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Madison, Wisconsin

I adore this place. Off the beaten path for most Madison restaurants, but it's definitely one of my favorites. The décor is sleek and colorful, and Beatles albums are often playing in the background. The owner and staff are all super friendly and clearly care about their product and their customers. I can't say enough good things about the food -- I've had the burritos, pupusas, and quesadillas (Mexican and Salvadoran) -- it's all wonderful and with hearty vegetarian options. The coffee is fantastic as well. read more

Had passed by Finca many times and my wife and I finally tried it this morning for breakfast. We had the breakfast burrito and papusas and both were excellent. Our coffee was also fantastic and came from a small El Salvadoran coffee farm. Also, the service was terrific and super friendly. read more

Madison has a lot of coffee shops. Most are very good, but not very unique. Finca is different. Not only do they have really good coffee (including several pour over options), but they offer a small, but delicious, menu of Central American small plates. Their Pupusas were amazing. And, something that was new for me, a Salvadoran Quesadilla, that's not what you think a quesadilla is. There's no cheese. It's more like a sweet cake (like corn bread) with sesame on top. It was amazing! Overall a great little cafe with excellent coffee, excellent food, and friendly service. read more

Modern Café set up, serves a few basic Salvadorian dishes. One noticeable thing on the menu is Pupusas, which is a typical dish from El Salvador, authentic, delicious and the most recommended dish from their limited menu. Tacos are good tacos. They also serve a Salvadorian "quesadilla" which may confuse most Americans, it is a type of pastry which is somewhat similar to a muffin I suppose that includes cheese somehow in the recipe. I would also recommend this if you enjoy a sweet and rich flavor with your coffee. Have only tried the Cold Brew, it's pretty smooth and more than drinkable without any additives. Serving sizes and prices are more than reasonable. All in all, try it if you've never tried Central American food, since it's really the only place in Madison to do it, but more than qualifies as a good place to grab some coffee and a bite to eat. I would like to see some more Salvadorian additions to the menu cause it be really good. read more

Finca Coffee - Pupusas not Papusas - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Madison, Wisconsin

Excellent South American food. We shared some papusas, steak quesadillas, chicken tacos and A dessert quesadilla. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. My favorite was the tacos followed by papusas. Tacos were crammed full of toppings, including guacamole and cheese. Did I mention the entire bill was under $20? Will go back and try the cold brew and more tacos! read more

Awesome new coffee shop and Salvadorian food in Madison! Pour over coffee, Kyoto-style cold brew, and espresso pulled on a beautiful Nuova Simonelli Black Eagle from 4 Monkeys Coffee Roasters direct from farms in El Salvador. The food is a great addition to the mix though, and is something you don't often see at coffee shops, and I believe it's the only Salvadorian and maybe the only Central American restaurant in Madison. I tried the Salvadorian quesadilla and pupusas, and they're solid. The aesthetic is a great mix of modern and Central American. The current manager was the former owner of 5th Element Coffee, and a lot of the old equipment and decor comes from there, including their music playing from vinyl. I can't wait to see how this place evolves! read more

Easily the best burrito I have ever had. Seriously, Finca has absolutely perfected their burrito that is stuffed with cheesy rice, beans, and honestly I don't even know what else is in there but it's the stuff from heaven and it's given to you wrapped up in a perfect, warm, toasted burrito. The pork burrito is my favorite, but steak and chicken are also amazing - all of their meats are incredibly tender and well-seasoned. Pro-tip: the large is only $2 more than the regular and is massive - perfect to pop in the oven for meal #2 later in the day! Okay and on top of the awesome food they have here, the service is wonderful and everyone is super friendly. There's ample parking, cozy seating, lots of natural light, and they are coffee experts. And if you don't like coffee, they have the cheapest cup of tea I've seen in any cafe in Madison. Everything is super reasonably priced. They also have some baked goods from Batch Bakehouse so you don't even need to drive out to Willy Street to enjoy a tasty croissant with your coffee. Outlets are a little sparse so make sure your computers are charged if you're heading here to work for the day. There's definitely a huge lunch surge of customers so avoid coming then if you can. The rush doesn't last super long but it's hard to wait when you're waiting for the most perfect burrito on earth :) I live on the complete opposite side of Madison but it's always worth the drive to go to Finca! Would give this 10 stars if I could. read more

Lovely space and delicious cold brew coffee. They serve a limited selection of Madison Sourdough pastries and a traditional El Salvador quesadilla. Wish there were more breakfast options, they do not have waffels like advertised on their website. There is a decent sized kitchen in the back but it doesn't open until lunch. I understand they are new but hopefully they will explore more breakfast items in the future. The tacos and other lunch items look good and I will be returning to try those. read more

I had the chacharon pupusa and a chicken taco. It was incredible! What a delicious treat. The pickled veggies and hot salsa were a bonus. The location is excellent as there are no other cafes near by that area.
