We visited on a Sunday so there were people watching football in the loft and families sitting downstairs enjoying food and drinks. They even offered juice boxes for the kids! The staff was super nice and let me try some samples before I decided on the Richbrau, which was a really tasty lager. They also offered pizza and pretzels, so the place had a great smell. Kid friendly! And dog friendly too, the pups there that night were well behaved. Great beers: loved the Afterthought lager, Caribbean porter, and a few other beers! The stout was smooth and robust. The food is amazing, perfect for this setting! We ordered a pretzel and it was superb! Hot, lightly salted, and served with two mustards and a cheese dip! The Billy Pie pizzas are tasty! We got a sausage pizza and a margherita pizza, both were delicious. We also had some chips and snacks!! Another plus, there was a dart boards, and a shelf stacked with board games, cards, and other fun things to do while you enjoy the brews! But we revisited it recently and had a different beer that we enjoyed quite a bit more. To match with the season we had the Gingerbread Stout which is an Imperial Double Milk Stout with an ABV of 9.2 % and it was a fun beer to drink. Living up to it's name we tasted something like a gingerbread cookie at work with elements of cinnamon and vanilla beans for example. An essence of milk was also in the flavor profile and the beer is nice and strong along with a smooth sweetness. We definitely liked this beer better and found it more on the unique side which pleased our tastebuds as that is what we are often on the lookout for when out trying craft beers !

Best of all, my son just moved back after graduating from Clemson and we would have a place to hang out weekly. Unfortunately, it will be difficult to go back. We were just in there and the waitress and manager were rude and disrespectful. I'm so disjointed because I have been telling everyone I had foubd a new favorite place in Richmond. But it was all about the vibe. Which no longer exists in my head with disrespectful staff.
