Final Edition Bar & Grill is your basic "dive bar". I'm not sure if the title is a badge of honor or a slur; but what that means if you go to Final Edition is that you will be rubbing elbows with the salt of the earth. Hard hats, pony tails, short skirts, jeans, steel toed boots and running shoes meet to enjoy a respite from the world outside the bar. Patrons hale each other from the other side of the room when they enter this shrine dedicated to alcohol, comfort food and civility. At a good dive bar, everyone has dignity and everyone is respected when they walk in. (When they walk out depends on how they behave while they are there!) There are no topics here that are not open for civil discussion. There are no dumb questions. That's how it is in a dive bar. Sofie and I had hamburgers. This is why we came here. We wanted something different than what we have tried in the past. We returned from the land of bad hamburgers (Kansas) and were in need of having the real thing. Can you imagine our joy at having the real deal at Final Edition? Good honest hamburger full of taste and satisfaction. No need to travel to Kansas! The onion rings are outstanding. I love fried onion rings. These are among the best. Final Edition has activities that bring people together and deals that give everyone an incentive to return throughout the week. (see photo) The proprietor came to each table in a friendly and unobtrusive way to take orders, clean away dishes and ask if we enjoyed our food and needed anything. His demeanor was friendly, welcoming and caring. He is the kind of guy that invokes good behavior and kindness by setting a perfect example. Some people are like that. They are so nice that one wants to give back that attitude so not to disappoint the one who sets the cadence of the march. An elderly couple came into the bar and were stunned. They would not venture more than 3 feet. They looked around to take in the room, then looked at each other and walked out. Final Edition isn't for everyone. That's a good thing. It keeps out the riffraff for which Final Edition is a refuge from. It isn't communism to be sure; but everyone here is your brother or your sister.

Ty (other reviewer) hit the nail on the head when he said, it's like a bar from the Midwest. A bar you'd find in the boonies of Wisconsin and some parts of inner city Chicago. Spent the morning on a farm in the ways out doing some serious laborious work. Heading back to civilization we got the notion of burgers. Since we were out this way, Buns and Burgers is a usual destination, though today we decided to try the mysterious, black tinted bar next door. I left the farm and headed for Grand pappy's cabin. The bar; a real dive, think old brown wood, cozy pub stools, a high step to relax your dogs and a padded arm rest to lay the gun show. There are all kinds of knick knacks that adorn the walls which is the kind of stuff, someone received and wanted to hang, but their wife just wouldn't allow it. They don't make bars like this. I could have sat in that stool the rest of the afternoon, watched Nascar and downed a couple more Sierra Nevada's. You'd be surprised to find that they also pour Stella Artois, Widmer Honey and then the usuals. I'm glad they carry Coor's light, it's a super light domestic that heals the weak and allowed for a productive afternoon. Food, well it's a bit too expensive to me and the burgers taste like they are of the frozen variety, good but not great. I hear the salads and soups are made in house which are pretty good. A cool note, they have an erasable board set up behind the bar which is used to track drinks purchased for friends. You buy a drink and give them a name. When your friend stops by, they give their name and collect their drink or shot. Different but cool.

One of the best local bars left in Santa Rosa. Pool tables and a juke box with an extremely welcoming staff.

The menu is pretty is simple American bar food; burgers, sandwiches, steak, and salads. They have a lot of options though and you can even build a burger/ sandwich. I ended up ordering the spicy chicken melt with grilled chicken, cheese and grilled peppers. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality ingredients and how yummy it was. Sometimes bar food can be pretty basic and cheap, but the peppers were nicely grilled and the chicken was juicy. I had their sweet potato fries which were really good too! They have a condiments bar with different sauces. I got the DTF sauce for my fries which was fire and some green salsa to put on my sandwich which gave it an extra kick. I had one of their summer menu cocktails and I enjoyed it. Service was great! The server/ bartender was attentive, and friendly. My dad and step mom who live here now want to try it out!

All the colors and flavors together felt so nourishing I joked it was aligning my chakras. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients. I loved it so much that I brought my husband back for dinner that evening, and it ended up being one of the most delightful meals we've ever had together. I'm a big fan of a thoughtfully curated, farm-to-table menu, and this place does it beautifully. We started with the focaccia, which was hands down some of the best bread I've ever had. It came with an eggplant spread that had subtle Indian-inspired flavors and was absolutely marvelous. I had the baby greens salad, and the vegetables tasted like they had just been picked from the garden moments before. My husband ordered the butternut squash soup, and after one bite I understood why he loved it. For my main course, I had the salmon, which had the most delicate hint of clove. I was obsessed. My husband had the steak frites, cooked perfectly and melt-in-your-mouth tender. I kept stealing bites. We finished with tiramisu and bread pudding, both completely delightful, along with light, crisp glasses of Chardonnay. The next morning, I went back again for breakfast because I simply couldn't resist. I had the macro bowl again and ordered the Vinarosa burger to go for the drive home. Both were marvelous. Each time, I sat outside on the warm terrace, which made the whole experience even more special. This place is truly a gem.

They have a good array of arcade games - we are partial to Jurassic Park though it always has a line, skee ball, basketball, the frogger clone game, the harpoon game - as well as things like trampolines (extra cost), the playground (a ball spill thingy, slides, 3 levels, a zip line, etc - also extra cost. We enjoy bowling during football games so we can watch and bowl and get boneless wings from victory house (and sometimes Bloody Marys). I've also come to watch friends play soccer at their different indoor courts. Only downside - it feels a bit like a germ fest. Lots of hand sanitizer and now I feel like I need to take some elderberry.

This review is specifically for the Charlie's Candy Shop escape room…read more We came a few months ago in a group of six. I think the Finding Bigfoot escape room wasn't even open yet. The Charlie's Candy Shop escape room was created with AI, and we genuinely felt that was a mistake. This wasn't our first escape room, but we were completely lost. So many of the instructions were confusing and didn't make any sense. All the clues were super vague. One of the instructions was incorrect ( that's why we couldn't complete the task ), and our room host told us about it after our time had ended. We also got the exact same hint twice, from the button and the paper. Overall, the room felt cheaply made, and some of the components were broken. The host also told us that the percentage of people/groups completing the room without hints from the host is zero, which, in our opinion, is odd. So I guess the room is too hard, but mostly because not much of it makes sense. We think, the clues should be more helpful and clearer than what we experienced in Charlie's Candy Shop escape room. We still have hopes for the Finding Bigfoot escape room ( assuming it wasn't created with AI ). P.S. Our host was nice and friendly. He even let us glance at the soon-to-be-open Finding Bigfoot escape room, which we really appreciated. +1 star for the host.

The waitress was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu and cleared up any questions we had. The food is so delicious. We ordered Parmesan cheese and ancho French fries, queso fundido, and chicken bacon pesto pizza. The fries were so crisp and quite seasoned. Will say they are a go to option whenever I come back. It's nice to find places that serve crispy fries like that. Crispy on the outside, nice and soft inside. It was quite a treat. Queso fundido was a great option because we had a hankering for nachos and this definitely filled the cravings. If you're someone that maybe doesn't do onions, just make sure to ask for no onions. Luckily I'm able to do onions, but you never know if someone has a preference. The cheese and chorizo combo was amazing, and the best part it wasn't greasy or fatty from the cheese. It just looked so clean. The star of the show had to be the chicken bacon pesto pizza. I love a good pizza but my favorite are the out of the ordinary toppings and sauces. They had other amazing options but it's not everyday I can try a chicken bacon pesto pizza. This was a homerun and a half. I definitely recommend this pizza to anyone who wants to try an out of the ordinary combo. The pizza was cooked to perfection and it was fluffy. The cheese was all over the place because, I had an amazing cheese pull! If you're one for cheese pulls, this one's got your number. All in all an amazing experience. I'll come back here again
