If you live around the area, most likely you will see someone you know and it is nice to have the local hangout. The prices aren't great, but they aren't high end expensive. They have specials and happy hour so you can save money. The portions are large so many people will likely have leftovers. On the visit today, our food was just so-so. We've had visits when the food was really good and days when the orders were mixed up, but usually it's ok or better. Mostly if you stick with the specials you're good. Today one of us got the fish and chips special, and the other got a smash burger and coleslaw. My food tasted ok but it looked on the burned side or like the grease needed changed. My husband said the coleslaw was super dry like it was shredded cabbage. He did like my fried which I shared. They were actually the favorite of the meal. I didn't eat the bun on the sandwich but it looked like it would have tasted good, maybe like a hint of garlic bread. I just don't usually eat bread on fish. Anyway, food was just ok for the 45.00 price tag for two lunches, two waters. I believe they have lunch specials or lunch prices, versus dinner prices on some things. Again, if you're at the lake and are looking for ambiance, this is the place. Stick with a burger, fries and soda or beer or one of the specials. Stay away from the water.

Usually, when I get pancakes at a breakfast spot they come out too thick/rubbery or too dry/bland. These were a nice, medium texture without being too big or way too thin and they were moist, flavorful, and sweet. 10/10 and would order them again when we go back. The blueberry jam was tasty, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the bacon was cooked crispy like I had wanted. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy, also with over easy eggs, and a side of country potatoes. He chose the strawberry jam for his toast. We each had a couple bites of the other's dish to try them out and we both loved how savory the rosemary gravy was. His eggs were also cooked perfectly and the country potatoes were hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The only minor slip up during our visit was that they forgot to bring out the side of potatoes at first, but otherwise a wonderful dining experience. We were reading the other handful of reviews on Yelp after we ordered since I already had the app open to look at photos of different dishes to help us decide what to get and we were very confused about the bad review claiming all of the food was highly processed and not fresh.
