Side of sweet potato fries were nice and crispy but with a weird greasy aftertaste. Portion sizes were good. DRINK: Bottle of Pinot Grigio was delightfully cold, mild and easy to drink. COST: Average with total bill of £38.85 for two people. SERVICE: Faultless, pleasant and quick. RESTAURANT DECOR/ AMBIENCE: Average, nothing special or out of the ordinary. Quite a few families with kids there when we visited. IN SUMMARY: Slim's Kitchen serve good food if a bit lacking in taste and I suspect a few dishes are not as healthy as they pertain to be since some of our food tasted quite greasy. However, it's still a reasonably good restaurant for a bite to eat, just nothing exceptional. A place claiming to be healthy also really need to offer a greater range of and more clearly marked Vegetarian and Vegan meals. Slims Healthy Kitchen isn't a new concept, as they have stores in South Belfast and the City Centre. We visited on Saturday lunch time, so there was a queue out the door. It's worth noting that this place does takeaway so the queue was made up of people wanting to collect stuff. Within 5mins we were seated. The interior is fresh and bright, with a great atmosphere. The menu is pretty impressive with something for everyone. I ordered the Chicken Burger and a side of sweet potato fries. Soft drinks are BOTTOMLESS, I love this! A restaurant that doesn't charge you £3 for a bit of syrup and carbonated water. The service was great too and with pleasant staff it was a great all round visit. It's a very cosy little restaurant, nice friendly atmosphere, the staff were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. One thing I will say is that it's very seafood heavy, not something that bothers me but if you're not a great fan of seafood you may find your choices slightly more limited. Having said that, everything was absolutely fantastic. I had pigeon to start which was beautifully cooked, very delicate looking but packed full of flavour. Duck for the main which was just absolutely fantastic, could have eaten two plates of it and still had room for dessert. The desserts are stunning in appearance and have the flavour to back them up. It's also heaven to have a choice of plant-based milks for coffee i.e. oat, almond or soy - such an improvement on offerings found at other Belfast cafes. My food was delicious and coffee flawless. In this, the age of excess hipster cafes, unfortunately it's still difficult to find good coffee, but thankfully 387 offers exceptional coffee. Additionally, this place doubles up as a health food shop with shelves, a freezer and a cooler brimming with goodies. After enjoying my coffee and food I did a mini grocery shop stocking up on vegan cheese, tofurkey slices, sausages, burgers, soups and chilli mayo. A lovely, relaxed spot with friendly, helpful staff and outside seating for sunny days. Decor is natural, focused on muted grey shades, wooden furniture, soft lighting and green plants. Everything about this cafe is synonymous with ease, relaxation and quality. I'm very glad 387 has arrived on the Belfast food scene and hope it flourishes. I will definitely be back.

Smoked salmon on toasted bread, hard Irish cheese, crunchy baguette, sliced turkey, even chilli sauce and something called "black butter." Oh, and wine. You can't have a midday snack without wine, right? Much/most of the food here is quite local (the wine is Spanish) and the staff are helpful. Check the "sandwich board" out front for specials. There is a very small Mexican section, which in my opinion was pretty darn good for being in Ireland! They had tortillas, various dry chilies and hot sauces. Lots of cookies, candies, jams and jelly's and a very large tea selection. The cheese case and deli were loaded with so many choices, it was hard to choose! You can order food and eat at tables that are just outside the front of the store. A definite recommend but if you're a foodie, be prepared to be dazzled!

My dish of choice is always shredded honey chili chicken and Bawon make it to perfection - funny thing is that I walked past the other day and I could smell it cooking in the kitchen and had a massive craving for it. I just about suppressed my desire for it but writing this is bringing all those feelings up again! Delivery drivers are always really courteous and importantly they seem to know their way around Bangor and in particular the Ballyholme area. You don't have to order your food over the phone, you can also walk in but expect a short wait. Having said that, on Saturday night we were feeling particularly fragile and not too adventurous so we opted for dished we knew and loved. We went for Salted chili chicken, honey chili chicken, a portion of rice and a portion of chips. This was easily enough for three full meals with loads left over. Portion sizes are huge. In terms of taste the salted chili chicken was one of the best I've had but the honey chili chicken was a little different, it's flavour was slightly more honey than chili and they sauce was a little rich for my taste. Having said that I ate the whole thing. The whole ordering process was great. We ordered over the phone, but there is the option to order online. Instead of getting delivery I went to collect the food. The shop/kitchen were clean and modern and also well staffed - I think that's why the order was fulfilled so quickly. Overall a really good experience with Brothers. My first time ordering from them, but certainly not my last.
